Most of my racing happens on the street anyway, but will see at least one track day before a change. When are we at PI next?

The reality is if you're publishing information that is publically accessible then no crime being committed, especially if all you're doing is stating fact...defamation only applies for things that aren't true or can't be proven. So I guess in this instance you can't accuse them of tampering with odos, but you can say they're selling or sold a car that auction papers show to be a different condition

Good thing I live 1km from work lol Might just be incentive to return to the track afterall

Scratch that - some serious road noise above 60km/h - hoping it fades with some run in. Can't hear it unless music low/off and it IS holding 1st and 2nd on post-damp roads no problems, which is super for $180 tyres. See how long they last...
-
Early impression of the Federal RS-RR vs shagged out AD08R - a fair bit less road noise on these, I'm guessing mostly because my rears were nearly bald before I replaced. Regardless, that's still a plus for the Federals which I expected to be noisy. I know there's an improvement in noise from RS-R to RS-RR. Gave a squirt on slightly damp road and she stuck well, but new sticky tyres will do that. Need more dry road and more time. A big variable to test is that I've gone from 265 to 245 because I read these tyres run wide. They probably do a little, in that the 245 appears to sit where a 255 AD08R would.

Pretty sure nothing wrong with naming when you have hard evidence for others to judge...it's when people say "this place is shit because I / my mate had a bad experience with them, trust me" that you put the forums in danger of defamation. We had an Edward Lees thread in general automotive that shitcanned the place and the mods didn't shut it down - think the evidence was irrefutable?

OPEC announcement is just an example of how much people will move on the smallest of news. Off that alone you've seen 10% intra week. When big news hits they move big, which gave us the ten bagger last time. With that kind of drastic movement, a dollar within 5 years is no more unrealistic than expecting the company to succeed. There is plenty of big news to come, but the long term ace up my sleeve for this one has always been the price of oil currently being in a slump because of the Saudi's greed and pride, which is eventually going to screw them over when they realise how cheaply they've f**ked off their second biggest export (first being female oppression amiright). 88E's resources are so far looking like a conventional/unconventional hybrid...profitable at levels much lower than your average fracking operation; it was actually said not long ago that current levels would be profitable, let alone a return to glory, which IMO is inevitable. I won't go into huge detail here, but 88E's resources are looking way more attractive than most unconventionals including neighbouring Otto. If Basinki is right we are in the absolute sweet spot for drilling. Basically, I'm happy that you don't expect the price of oil to return quickly...I'm counting on everyone else to think the same way, as that is holding the SP down long enough for me to accumulate and rely on increases I predict will come later on and steadily drive up the SP. Long term, the share is a great prospect to me, but my 200%+ short term profits have been made from knee jerk reactions of pessimistic investors turned optimistic, so bring on more!

I'm sorry that the theft of your vehicle hit me harder than it hit you #insurancejob
-
370 sets would take a while to get through unless you had a 370kw 370z
-
You'd be running them on a Skyline too if you had a heart
-
Which is why I always maintain it being undervalued That oil price will inevitably be sky high again one day as the finite resource diminishes and even unconventional plays become worth a truckload. The market hasn't factored this in yet, hence minor OPEC shit gives a small push. If the rest of the world is banking on renewable energy offering an oil solution and you hedge against it...correctly...you'll be winning.

They are more luxury performance tyres, like the Continentals, where they will perform well in dry and wet but you also get less road noise than cheaper tyres.

This to me isn't so much evidence of NT05s being good but hub dynos being liars
-
NT05s or 01s?
-
Dunno about best but Traction Tyres (inb4 Greg) sell them. Not cheap though. I got mine for $220 a corner a couple years ago but they were 2013 production so cheaper. You don't have to go AD08s, RS3s are probably better value, but yeah much better options out there than NT05. Think Ric liked the Nittos too.
-
I'll bet $370 he was running Federals I remember being confused they were RS-R on the side wall but having the RS-RR tread pattern
-
NT05s aren't really good though - AD08s shit all over them And agree with Hamish; if you wanna put all 370kw to the ground out of 370kw, you're gonna need a bigger boat
-
Now do you realise how important good tyres are?! I think Jase was running Federal RS-RRs from memory
-
Good ol car number 21, who could forget him
-
Can you PM me both so I may avoid and sway haha
-
If that was directed at me, I mean the lag as in what rpm you ramp up to full boost I want it from 3500 max in the 26/30
-
Are you an avid supporter of them?
-
Just broken down in the paddocks of Sandown with about four people exorcising the engine bay
-
So I just witnessed Greg's penchant for shit happening; it's quite real lol

9s make more power than 7s I'm all about response. I like to sit in 4th at 100 and have near instant boost at those speeds. In Barry's 34 I had to wait a couple of secs before they did anything. It's a quick car once it gets on though. E85 is the way to go man, even without a turbo upgrade. So much better midrange.
