  1. I removed the window switch peice of plastic to clean off all the sticky crap that it was covered in. so unscrewed the unit from the switch peice and that was it. Alarm was installed by previous owner to my knowledge
  2. Hey all got a bit of a problem with my alarm. since I took out my drivers side window controller, the locks don't activate when I arm the car. i can still manually lock the doors with the key, just a pain in the ass having to haha Car is a 95 R33 4 door Brand of alarm is Autowatch model N4086 the only thing I can think i've done is maybe stretched a wire when trying to remove the control unit from the door. or maybe the window unit isn't connected, but ive pushed everything back in to make sure it was connected up properly any help appreciated! Cheers
  3. i had my old 180sx insured with LSV, they were good to deal with, cheaper than most other insurers, but then when i got rid of my 180 and brought a skyline, they told me they werent insuring any more imports (regardless of how long you'd been with them and your history) unless they've changed their stance..
  4. just seeing if the owner of that maroon R33 at bald hills exit on bruce highway is on here.. saw it as i drove past this morning, hope you got out ok, car looked a bit of a mess
  5. ive got one on my r33 (was on their when i purchsed it) if you get the remote controlled one, youll find it buggers up after a while, the battery connection for the remote suck, comes loose and youll find it hard to adjust the valve inside. i've left mine open, cant be bothered with the remote any more, they do go quite though when shut, for long drives to have no drone makes for a good drive after a while good luck either way
  6. Spotted a white r32 on Bruce highway Friday nighft around 1045 near north lakes exit, with a sau sticker on passenger rear window, gave you a flick with the high beams , not sure if you saw, was in my 4 dr in the middle lane

  9. anyone in a 32 with 32neo number plates trying to have some fun with some greek boys in their v8's round the gabba?
  10. i had a similar problem when it came time to sell my 180, the shop wanted me to return the car to complete standard before they would pass it. told them to shuv it - not going to spend 400-600 bucks to get a roadworthy done took it too another shop and they said the wheels were fine "as long as there is plenty of tread left on the tyre" so i'd ring around a few places and explain to them whats on the car and see what they say. atleast if you let them know before you take it down, you wont have wasted your time & money before they say no

  18. yeah i dont reckon you'll find much for that sort of cash - import wise (my 180 - turbo was about 16 all up) and that was a 91 model maybe look at some of the cheaper cars and think about an engine/gearbox transplant..
