yeah what nismo said is all true . i usually let it sit particulary on a cold mornin for about 30 seconds , drive it slowly tring to keep the revs under 2000 . then after about 5 mins i look at all my guages especially oil an then go for it but 5mins is generally all u need no need to idle for that long a period , it would be a waste same with cooling if ive been thrashin it all the way home then the TT takes longer, but if i say drive (normally) for a few mins after then it doesnt take long at all , and i think is better for the engine then rather switching it just off

i had another look just a minute ago when i was servicing my pod teh foamy bit created sort of a tunnel between the bonnet where the air is directed . if you have a look at the top of the bonnet on the right hand side it curves to the right , what i did is i leave the stock air intakeon (minus the foam as it disintegrates) so its basically directly over the pod , so its sort of getting a cold air BOOST ! like a cold air intake but not as good

i ripped mine off it disintegrated aswell , from what i could see it just touched the bonnet , so i didnt see it as very important , clark rubber or like a clothin store may have some do u have a pod ? or is it the panel filter

what sort of noise does it make on an r33 is that what you had it on? does it hold revs ok or drop off on idle and stal?? im in perth too very interested

you can get cheap stock r33 turbos ceramin ones for under 500 if ur after one streamer

you could put it through your roof but it has wires and stuff hanging out of it , i mean unless you like run the wires from the top of the windscreen around and down the bottom , bit of a hassle though i prefer the jack hammer and power drill option myself , we can carve out a nice mounting point in your car

thats a lot of effort to have it in the mirror put it under the sterring i can chisel out some of your dashboard with a hammer and we can drill a hole in the plastic with a power drill and have the wiring go through their
