  1. I used to park for work in an area controlled by Stonnington Council about 10 years ago. Bastards gave me two fines about a week apart for exceeding the parking time limit by about a minute. About six weeks later I got my revenge when I was late for work due to an appt. Walking down the same street where I got the fines I found a Stonnington ticket inspectors car illegally parked blocking a driveway so I called to get the car towed pretending to be the home owner Nothing probably happened but I felt good inside
  2. Ahhh of course....now where did I leave that guide dog
  3. How did I know you would be one of the only people in Oz to have had one in your hands Fair enough....it wuld be interesting seeing it perform in a wind tunnel to see how it changes the airflow.
  4. Oh an being a noob about buying in Japan...who is this streeter that you talk of?
  5. Thanks Baron. Agreed about the garage kagotani one that you pictured as you can clearly see the 'wing' shape mould, however I would like to see the kansai one. It looks to me like it may be a cutout or vent of some sort due to the shape of what I can see in the that pic.
  6. Thanks as always Baron. Lol that $50 is needed to help fund the beer belly I'm trying to develop..... ...that is if the kids or wife don't get hold of it first
  7. Shame to see the GTR go...but the Viper should be a lot of fun as long as your GT series allows the lemans style brake and aero package
  8. Thanks all......no I'm not in Japan at the moment but a short business trip might be coming up soon. Obviously I know how much the stuff I need will cost to buy here in Oz, but figured that I may be able to save on postage etc. Blitz....Is Crystal located near Nagoya? Do they have a website that you could point me to? Cheers.
  9. Agreed but its the Karl factor Unless you want to take on the tarmac rallies which involves big $$ in terms of setting your beast up for it I'm not sure there is too much else in that segment.....maybe think of doing Duttons in other states?
  10. Nice work Dane! Merli....I think Troy was talking about possibly incorporating a splitter and making it flatter. From what I know the flatter and closer to the ground the better....I think that design you posted caters more to the ricer with the moulded ducts. If you have a look at the Top Secret one :drools: it is pretty flat and I think that central duct is there to suck the hot air out of the engine bay after the radiator. Either that or I have my airflow mixed up and it supplies cold air from under the car into the engine bay
  11. No big red in Dutton....they used Chris's GTR
  12. As the heading says can anyone suggest a speed shop in Nagoya (or nearby) that carries Defi products that you can buy off of the shelf? Need the addy if you have it.
  13. Speak to mick from Micolour
  14. Apparently this will be featured on the today show this week (no idea which day though)
  15. Damn sorry to hear about the dramas BB...of all things a dead battery That time by Markov is indeed insane!!! That would be some great in car footage And Scott what happened to your dad as I didn't see him on the timesheets either?
  16. WOOHOO top work guys

  18. AHAHAHA sure Russ....we'll believe you
  19. Good luck BB....my left front is down to the belts and I've got no hope of finding a new set of RE's in time so I won't be there. Make sure you fly the SAU flag for us
  20. Congrats to all and a big thanks for the vids and pics. Can't believe that I finished in the top ten the first time that I've done DECA in the R but I didn't go for the points so that was just a bonus. Oh and Martin everyone think my GTR is purple but it is actually black from the factory
  21. Ended up being a good drive by Webber but it was good to see Kimi on the podium again...the Monaco strippers would've earnt a bit last night Anyone else hear the comment by N Piq after Buemi (however you spell it) pushed him off the course? Something along the lines of there shouldn't be young guys in F1....errrr bit like the pot calling the kettle black isn't it
  22. Awesome event and a big thanks to the organisers and volunteers Can't wait to see the vids from the pan I haven't done DECA for at least 3 years and that was in the gtst...while I didn't miss the elec problems I had with the gtst at the time I realized that I missed those handbrake turns after my first run on the pan Was some great driving by all and good to see that there were no 'incidents' - Nick I hope all isn't bad news and that you'll be back out there in no time.
  23. AHAHAHAHA top call snowie
  24. No worries mate....Zack will just have to stick with the 'I am the STIG' shirt
