    Fia Gt1 R35

Will be awesome to see it in that category Might actually shut up the yank and porsche fanboy comments that the GTR isn't anything special because it hasn't competed in a world championship or series
  2. Gday mate....def go with a tape one with a digital output so you can convert straight to a computer. I'm using a panasonic 3ccd which was around the lower end of what you want to spend and I have never had a problem with it.
  3. Looks the goods Snows...best of luck!
  4. Oh and ask him/her why there aren't uniform vehicle rules and reg's across all states....and why here in Vic you can't get certain modifications engineered and passed like you can in other states?
  5. Good work mate ......I can only hope that the interview/discussion is portrayed in a fair manner without bias How about ask him/her how the TAC and police have got away with using 'Speed Kills' for god knows how long when it is a false statement. Speed doesn't kill it is simply a multiplying factor when an accident happens and is not a cause (this doesn't go for inappropriate speeding). All this does is enable to gov to generate funds and does not address the real cause of accidents - driver training or lack there of. Ask him/her why the police have gone down the path of speed camera's when they do very little to stop the offense from occuring. Receiving a fine in the mail about a month after the offense has happened does nothing to stop it at the time. Instead of hiding camera's, visible ones will actually reduce peoples speed AT THE TIME.....or even better have more patrols on the street (how many more patrols would the cost of speed cameras have bought instead?). Lastly people who habitually reoffend...whether it be excessive speed or drink/drug driving should be forced to visit a busy emergency ward on a sat night to see the damage such offenses cause.
  6. Step 3 - check for fluid leaks at the rear on drivers side of the car.
  7. I agree....Nissan had a real opportunity to create something in the realm of the RS Porka's and the like and I think it had failed to deliver. If Lambo can find over 100kg to take out of the already lightweight (relative) Gallardo to create the superleggy I don't see why Nissan couldn't have done the same - especially considering the price tag!
  8. No question the Hume will get you there fastest but is boring at batshit. The best way would be the coastal route - for the most part well maintained and has some good twisty bits but takes much, much longer.....you might struggle for high octane fuel as well.
  9. Troy.. if you were referring to my post I wasn't suggesting anything in the above. Rather that he should drive the R legally at motorsport events rather than illegally on the road whilst on his P's.
  10. Whats done is done....but hopefully you will learn from this 2nd time around. As for the GTR and P plates.....heres a tip, while on your P's TOW the GTR to motorsport events and learn how to drive it there in a controlled legal way. That way you'll be streets ahead in skills when you get your full license.
  11. Simply putting the name out there.....and the sucess that they've had means the names been in lights too. You can't buy advertising like that too often. Couldn't agree more about their range of road cars though! +1 for peugeots return
  12. Assuming it was in working condition and armed the theives knew what they were doing. Time for those kill swtiches etc.....
  13. Only way I would do this is if the buyer is organising all the transport, and that all monies are cleared before the car leaves....and by that I mean the money is in your account and available to you. But I would agree that it does smell a little fishy....
  14. Marketing mate...Peugeot already have a racing heritage that continues to sell cars. Citroen didn't really have a marketing edge and their entry into the WRC was nicely timed with the release of a new range
  15. Sorry to hear Not that it matters now but did it have an alarm or other theft prevention measures?
  16. 1. Yes 2. Yes Trailer...and track day requirements usually state that you have to have a valid road license to be used in conjunction with your CAMS license.
  17. I also wonder if all this stuff is going to effect the GP bikes as well....sure the budgets are probably much smaller than WRC or F1, but even so with everyone tightening their spending it wouldn't surprise me
  18. Was a good night as always... Congrats to all the winners and grinners...some very deserving people and cars in there No worries.....can you pm/email me the email addy of someone in the rex club I can contact?
  19. Sad news With everything going on with WRC and F1 it does make you wonder about the future of top level motorsport...
  20. I believe its 95-96dB....either way I doubt most of the bikes I know would pass that.
  21. Will be there.... Have you picked up the trophies from the WRX club Bec?
  22. Happy B'day mate
  23. Happy Bday mate
  24. Spotted a couple of skylines and other cars in the Shell petrol station carpark on the corner of warrigal and princes hwy as I was on my home from the show and shine about 4pm... ...if its anyone on here why weren't you at the SnS
