  1. Probably a bit late to include in this years one (if you are organising it for 08) but you could include the presentation of all the motorsport (Deca & track) awards.
  2. Yep I read into that letter that it will be there however it will not be advertised....kind of like the evo X launch control.
  3. + the bloke who thought his dog had drunk coolant and there is no cure... I get the feeling that my fact about schapps being the cure for glycol poisoning was doubted.....see here: http://books.google.com.au/books?id=0Bw2UJ...2&ct=result So the cure would've been to get your dog smashed on good schapps
  4. What the hell happened with your watch 2rismo? Battery short??
  5. Do you have documentation showing that these have been crack tested etc?

    Just Been Hit

Unfortunately because it involves a crease in the panel that will never pop out properly.
  7. In reference to the above.... Random Fact #333 - Drinking too much coolant causes Glycol poisoning which is fatal. The only known cure for this is to get absolutely hammered on good schnapps. The components of schnapps turns the glycol poision in your kidneys into a harmless substance that you are likely to splash your shoes with ## ##Disclaimer - I do not recommend or endorse trying this out, but it is true.....apparently
  8. the only gtr rally car i've seen is the 33 gtr that did the pikes peak hillclimb...
  9. NOOOOOOO say it ain't so Sad to see mate and I felt the same way when I sold the gtst. Judging from what you said, I'm sure the next beast will put that smile back on your face
  10. Best thing you can do is get a full mechanical inspection done by a reputable workshop with experience with an RB26. If the seller is genuine he should have no problem with having to take it to get the car inspected.
  11. Good work BB.....as for the little off...theres your excuse to go see Mick
  12. Just had it confirmed that I'll be on a site visit returning late on the 14th...so means I miss out on another DECA Hope I have better luck next year.....
  13. To my knowledge HICAS has sensors that determine the position of the steering wheel....Unless your boss kit is designed for the GTR (ie not a genetric one) then HICAS reports an error and does not work correctly.
  14. Hahaha Ferni you crack me up Congrats to the Mac and Lewis for bringing home a WDC......certainly wasn't a great drive last night but you kept your cool and did enough to secure the silverware.
  15. Hey guys, happy belated B'day
  16. Hahaha love that pic of the mini Sam I was also under the impression that if your car was rego'd as a 5 seater (or whatever) that was the most you could carry. ....*Considers turning the GTR into a maxi-taxi*
  17. Email on its way ...but I couldn't resist posting a couple
  18. Sorry to hear the news... ...its a bit late now but I always hold onto the license of anyone test driving a car I've had for sale - no license no drive. I will keep a lookout for the car on my travels.
  19. Happy B'Day Saff and Greg
  20. Was great fun throwing a GTR around although my 'stocky' doesn't handle as well as a well sorted example. The well sorted Evo's and Rex's did well as expected but the difference was 2s between me and 1st place (sorted Evo 8 I think) so not huge. See in car vids of my runs here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Mo....html&st=40
  21. Top pics guys and gals
  22. New Morwell (Haunted Hills) hillclimb... No changes for my GTR.. 58.50 Copy of results:
  23. What a top day.....best $75 I've spent in a while Well where do I start.....a big thank you to the organizers and volunteers of the event as it was very well run. There was a fair wait in between runs but that was a reflection of the quantity of cars rather than the runnings of the day as there were 70odd cars there. It was my first time at the new morwell hillclimb and I must say that it looked a little daunting from the carpark...tight, technical in parts and huge elevation changes. I had heard the stories of cars having stacks on it and when I was introduced to 'oh sh1t' corner it all made sense and the tyre scars on the grass confirmed the stories :0 Despite this and the fact that something like an evo or well sorted wrx has the upper hand here the track proved to be a great place to hussle a GTR around I started off taking it fairly easy with a first run of 1:04something but I was able to knock time off every pass with my last run resulting in a best of 58.50. Here are a couple of incar vids: This is my 1:00.07 pass with a good drift moment 2 corners after 'oh sh1t': 1:00.07 This is my next pass at 59.51: 59.51 and the last one I captured (vid battery died for my run after this) with a little off track excursion which resulted in a 58.68: 58.68 I did a 58.50 in my last run without the little off track excursion but I do feel that there is more time to be found esp if you have adjustable suspn. Also thanks to Ryan (Belsil80) without our little battle in the arvo I doubt we would've pushed ourselves to get the times we did (check the results to see how close we were pass after pass) but you should've known that the GTR would neva loose in the end Good pics so far big bird but I want to see some sideways action
  24. Sad news..... My 2c......maybe just keep this round as part of the championship as a couple of guys I have spoken to will probably go to this anyway. While I love to attend the SnS as last years was pretty good the opportunity to do PI is pretty tempting.
