  1. Happy B'day Ray and Che
  2. Hmmm while it may slow done some of the faster cars I think it will increase the possibilities of a car on car accident due to the increase of overtaking....IMHO a lose lose situation
  3. This months EVO mag (UK so will probably only be here in another month or so) has shots of the GTR testing against a 997 turbo porsche and thier website shows some open bonnet shots confirming that the engine is a V6 twin turbo unit
  4. Defi connectors SOLD....
  5. HAHAHAHAHA Congrats Ni and Josie thats awesome news
  6. Thanks Al. The cable we are talking about is the one between the unit and the IR reciever not the power one. It sounds like Snowie might have a fix as well as the fact it sounds like we don't need it for the next round, but if anything changes I'll be in touch
  7. Awesome Snowie....if you can do mine at the same time that would be great....just let me know when and where Ferni....I didn't have a close look....if thats the case why can't we set one up on the drivers side of the circuit and just run the IR receiver to point through the drivers side window?
  8. Snowie...yep I got one of the 50mm cables. If you could let me know about the possible fix and get mine (and nicks) done at the same time it would be great.
  9. Ferni...I remember from the last round and the vid that jack posted up that he had his IR receiver on the passenger side door which would suggest that the transmitter is on the other side. You would've got your lap timer by now so you might be able to clarify this but all you need for the transmitter is a power source right? Either way I have no option but to have it on the drivers side due to the cable length.
  10. Hey snowie in regard to that...any chance of setting up the light transmitter on the drivers side of the circuit?
  11. Congrats on the results guys
  12. That wouldn't surprise me as it cost be a fair bit to get my steering wheel and various boots changed to alacantra....but the quality was well worth it. You could also try his son that has an upholstery business in Chelenham...not sure of the business name other than it has blackman in the title....not sure what his work is like though.
  13. Mate I'll Pm you....
  14. Mate, Check my FS thread...... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;#entry3067443 I have a couple for sale I dont' need....
  15. Bump... No one wants EPA friendly stuff or cheap upgrades? Make an offer if you think the price is too high...
  16. If you want the best try Garry Blackman Trimmers in Richmond...but they aren't cheap.
  17. yep I did this exact same thing (together with the gear stick and handbrake boot) in alacantra with blue stitching. Not only did it look great IMO but it was great for track use and gave me much better grip on the wheel. Was done here in Vic by one of the best I could find and the quality showed....wasn't cheap though
  18. You have PM
  19. Yay was finally on....Go Bec .....was only on briefly including a little shot behind the wheel having a good laugh What I was disappointed with was that they turned it into a hoon story WTF??? The arguement was that they shouldn't be teaching people those kind of skills as they will just do it on the roads. I'll put that in the same basket with the poli's arguement that we shouldn't put young drivers thru a defensive driving course to save their lives as they will be overconfident on the road
  20. To my knowledge the gt in the bond movie was not a production car and was built from the ground up esp. for the film. It is therefore not included in the production numbers.
