  1. Mr K.....I don't have a cf bootlid....I have a cf diffuser and cf wing blade on my 33 Heres a pic: It is made by a top japanese tuning company so the fit and finish are top class. As for hood pins...they can be fitted to any bonnet...all it takes is a drill
  2. Mr K....I couldn't agree with you more about the bling look of cf. I would love a jgtc style one for my 33 to match the cf I have on the back but as yet none I have seen have impressed. The other thing that has stopped me has been this stupid rule about rear facing vents Anyway thats a diff issue......good stuff tofu and want to see pics of it on the car when done
  3. Mr Keets....from trusted sources here on SAU there are no cf bonnets available in australia that weigh less than the original aluminium GTR bonnet. This is due to the fact that they are fibreglass with a cf overlay. The only cf bonnets that weigh less are genuine items from trusted manuf. available in japan and you can expect to pay around 5-8k for one!
  4. Tell you what.... next time you fill up keep a check of the actual litres you put in......it is a better way of telling how far you have gone on how much fuel. On mine when it is reading 1/4 left I usually still have at least 30-35 litres
  5. Hey Nastazia...is the tank empty though...ie when you fill up how many litres can you squeeze in? Reason I say that is the fuel senders in the 33 can be a bit dodgy sometimes and give a false reading. Should definitely be getting more than 250km in a fairly stock skyline.
  6. Great work Gareth.....looks awesome mate Can't wait to see it back on the track where it belongs
  7. that'll teach you for fully sik drifting on the street and showing off to your mates
  8. Hahaha classic.....Congrats flite and welcome to the club (parents nots twins lol)
  9. Great car and welcome back
  10. Terrible to hear mate and I hope you see your intact line back soon
  11. At the moment I'm not.....one thing thats stopping me is the market - my previous car was a performance car and the hassles I went through selling that has kinda scarred me with the test pilots etc The second and prob more pressing is the enjoyment I get out of my car That said I would feel better letting her go if I knew I was taking delivery of yours rather than sitting around trying to find the right car If nothing happens then I'll prob start to advertize mid year kind of time, to try and sell before xmas.
  12. Be aware that if you are looking for real cf there is a huge shortage at the moment.....the aircraft industry has bought most of the worlds stock as new aircraft have a cr@p load of cf in them. If you can find it expect to pay a sh1tload
  13. Ahahaha Fully Sik Bro
  14. I have them on my 33 gtst....fit without spacers or anything else. My brakes (calipers/rotors) are std. It is a close fit between the bottom of the caliper and the wheel hub (centre) but there is a fair bit of room between the caliper face (where it says nissan) and the wheel spokes. Maybe you have AM calipers or rotors that required a re-position of the caliper?
  15. Happy B'day Lauren ...So how much wrapping paper does it take to cover a 350Z Paul?
  16. Sorry to hear about all the drama's with the selling side of things. My offer still stands
  17. You hit the nail on the head there Denver. The facts are that as the barrel of oil cost has gone up the Oz govnt makes more and more. Rather than reduce the tax so that their take remains constant (or in line with other indicators such as inflation) they just keep taking. About 60% of the price you pay at the pump is tax...you do the sums when petrol has gone from 70-80c at litre to over $1.20.
  18. Scanned fastest times list.....
  19. Hahaha yeah gotta stay off the kerbs in the wet as the paint makes them very slippery. Funny thing was that it wasn't the rwd spinning the most (well except for the utes )....lots of oversteer moments but they managed to stay pointed in the right direction. The most people that were spinning were the fwd boys....those magnas and that crx spun a fair few times. I heard the owner of the turbo'd magna comment that his was 'a fair weather car only' LOL
  20. Yep good to properly meet you Tom. I did enjoy Barbagello despite trying to learn the lines in the wet and dark As Topaz said unfortunately it started spitting during the drivers briefing and never cleared up. The first two sessions were run with a damp track (just a light cover of rain) but after that it got properly wet. Managed 7th fastest overall with a 1.04 in my 2nd session which ment I was 2nd quickest out of the 2wd which I am pretty happy with considering it was my first time out there and the conditions of the track. Anyway I can't wait for the next event and believe that with a properly dry track and more experience I'll be able to crack the 60sec mark.
  21. Mikey...surely with the money you would spend buying the guards, getting someone to bolt them on and smooth out all the joins etc and then get them painted....it would be cheaper just to get that dent repaired?? If you want them for other easons I believe that someone is selling them on the japan yahoo auctions (new).
  22. Congrats Guys From experience buying a house, even with less problems that you guys ran into, can be a VERY stressful experience. Just keep thinking of when you move in on that first day sitting on your porch or in your front yard cracking the 1st beer
  23. Happy B'day Clarkey
  24. Go on Alpha I know you want to I do know of a certain victorian Lada with a GTR badge on it
