  1. Thanks Nark........I actually thought this rule read that you can't mount any gauge above where the dash meets the windscreen from the driver's point of view. I know a couple of people who got a bright yellow sticker for mounting it off of the A pillar right where it meets the dash - this would be under the top of the steering wheel but would 'restrict' view out of the bottom rhs of the windscreen......talk about :bs: design rules!
  2. Hey All, As per the post in the Vic section...... I've bought myself a gauge set and working out where to fit them in my R33. Does anyone on these forums know the ins and outs of ADRs with respect to fitting gauges on/in your dash??? Any help or advice is much appreciated -Ant95gtr
  3. Hey All, I've just bought myself a gauge set and trying to figure out where to place them in my R33. Does anyone on the forums know the ins and outs of ADR's with respect to gauge fitment on your dash??? Any help or advice is much apprieciated -Ant95gtr
  4. Hey mate, The place where I have all my turbo work done have heaps of gaskets lying around the shop and MIGHT have one to suit.....try calling ATP after the pub holiday. If you want a phone number let me know....
  5. Mate, I wouldn't be too concerned about the gasket if times a problem......grab some gasket sheet of the same material and thickness as the original and cut one out. A lot of exhaust and turbo places end up doing this anyway so I wouldn't call it a temp fix......
  6. Snowie, As per Roy I'm not a member.......was my name on the list???
  7. Roy.....I fitted SPLITFIRE coil pack to my line last year...was missing really bad around the 5k mark at 15psi....now running 17psi with no miss all the way to red
  8. Hey all, To put the debate to rest.....its a gtst I've had some good news at last and will be able to make it...yay....form sent in today. Hey Roy I'm still waiting to see how my line goes against yours on a track.....you going to make this round??
  9. Hey All, Just had a bit of bad news and looks like an 'unthoughtful' (just j/k) friend has scheduled a funeral on the 5th Will check with the missus about times and stuff like that to see if I can do both....otherwise I have a very hard decision to make
  10. Yeah Al I'm the same.....very tempted but after the last one, I decided to only go to these every now and again due to the amount of cars on the track at the same time
  11. So does all this mean that those harley bikes and BA turbo falcons with the OFFICAL exhaust upgrade are going to get done by the EPA as well as my pride and joy????? ....yeah right, lets just say I'm not going to hold my breath
  12. More piccies from the day.....
  13. some of my pics from sunday..... :headspin:
  14. No worries Bec.....I'm hanging out for the next track day after May/June next year when she won't have a good enough reason not to come along on one of the passenger sessions
  15. yeah Adz tell me about it.......didn't have to cop the usual 'I was the only chick there' winge on the way back
  16. Hey all, Just wanted to added that I had an awesome time at winton on Sun. While not great for good lap times, the extra traffic forced me to scan for overtaking spots and to maintain speed thru the corners.......I felt like I was in a race! Not only that but it made for some great incar vid footage As per Al's post you have to be real careful of other drivers and despite the ol'rule of don't overtake round a corner I had some d*$khead in a wrx make up 5 car lengths in my breaking zone only to go round the corner RIGHT NEXT TO ME. To all the SAU crew, thanks for the good company in between sessions, and a big thank you to all the ladies there on the day for keeping my wife company she enjoyed it so much she might actually come to the next one!
  17. Happy B'day Ash.....wheres the thread detailing the celebrations ???
