  1. Awesome......I'll be there as long as my 'application for a night out with team wang' is approved by the wife
  2. For those that have been on trackdays at sandown previously do we have access to electricity in the pits?
  3. Roy, Next Sat fitment for bonnent strap is good....just let me know time and address 'cause I'll be washing and polishing the beast in prep for Sun
  4. am trying to track down a centre console lid and black plastic surround around drivers elec window control on door. If willing to sell pls let me know asap as I'm pretty keen on these bits.....
  5. I know you've stated you want to sell the interior complete but if you want to break it up pls put me down for the centre console lid and surround around the drivers elec window control on door. Will pay good price and postage for these items.
  6. Hey inark have you actually ordered one yet?? I'm trying to order mine today but no responce as yet I'm not getting the actual cameras they supply, although it is a poss. for future, as they need rc cables between the chasecam camera and your camera and I cbf running rc cables throughout my car. Instead I'm just ordering the clamp/suction mounts (they have a std tripod camera mount) and fitting my digi camera to it. Prob not brave enough to strap it outside my car as yet so just going to set it up for an incar view and see how I go.
  7. Hey Guys, I'm trying to get my hands on one of those chasecam camera mounts that has both a clamp fitting and suction fitting to place in my car for the 24th. If they arrive before I'll bring em along otherwise I'm just bringing my camera
  8. three self-tapping bolts straight into the trans tunnel through the carpet. Just make sure the bolts aren't too long as you won't be able to remove the gearbox!!!
  9. Hey snowie thanks for the heads up on tyre pressures. I figured I'd start with about 40psi to start with as that was the setup I used for calder and skidpan days but I thought with the longer lap time etc more heat would be generated inside the tyre and therefore should drop my pressures a little. Anyway will start with 40psi and drop them during the day..... As for you guys mounting fire ext. the rules state that you must be able to reach and detach the ext from the mounts while in the drivers position. I mounted mine in the passenger footwell against the trans tunnel infront of the passenger seat (R33). From the drivers seat I can reach over and get the ext. when needed.
  10. Hey guys, Quick question for team wang.......What kind of tyre pressures do you run at sandown? Oh and they are street tyres not cheaters
  11. Cool thanks troy......Do you want me to catch up with you before the track day (sun 17th)to pick up the straps or what??
  12. Hey guys....are we expected to hear back from the masterati people after sending in our app?? I sent mine in weeks ago but still haven't heard anything. Roy, I second inasnts question 'bout the bonnet straps too
  13. g'day mr gtr, I'm interested in the rear gtr wing if you can post or send pics. Thanks ant95gtr
  14. Hey japp, Interested in the rear vspec wing. Are you willing to separate the boot lid ect and the wing? If so pls PM me with price etc. Thanks ant95gtr
  15. G'day demon, Interested in the rear wing (I assume it is a genuine GTR item). Are you willing to separate the wing and the boot lid? If so pls PM me with price etc. Thanks Ant95gtr.
  16. Thanks for all the info guys.....had my car at calder a couple of weekends ago at a driver training session.....the comp. circuit isn't very long or hard on brakes but by the end of the day I had to stick my foot through the pedal in order to wash off any speed. Not the best feeling when hoofing ur car round a track I figure that sandown is waaay harder on brakes so gotta get that fluid changed!
  17. $120 holy cr-p Thanks for all the info mate....for 120 bucks that fluid better do a better job than the std fluid around calder comp. circuit!! No-one said taking a car racing is cheap
  18. Cool thanks Andrew. Do you (or anyone else) know how much fluid I need for a complete drain and change on a r33 gtst? Out of interest how much for the Castrol SRF?
  19. Hey Guys, In prep. for the track day at Sandown next month I'm getting the brake fluid changed to a track ready spec so I don't boil it after a couple of laps :flamer: For those of you (read: any Team Wang members )who have changed their brake fluid to a track ready type (higher boiling point) which readily available brake fluid would you recommend for a r33 gtst?? Just to note that the setup is std except for upgraded pads. Also are there any compromises to using this fluid on the streets? Thanks ant95gtr.
  20. After a loooong break btw cruises I'm def going to this Hey Al I'll bring my MAS photos on a cd 4 ya.....just remind me closer 2 the day!!
  21. Hey Bass, If you manage to track down an original and copy em for a R33 gtst as stated please put my name down for one. Thanks.
  22. Ash.....I know how much fun the manual is...I own one Mate your car isn't putting out enough torque if you can't get sideways with the mods you've done......I had my car dynoed a couple of weeks ago and I'm getting sideways in 2nd and 3rd gears. Also thats with no gear change, I was in 3rd and hit the loud pedal thru the floor = soooo many Nm.....
  23. Adz.....fair enough but think of it this way....if I stuff up on the 24th having been on the training day I'll have no excuses......this way at least I can blame something "Damn should have gone on that training day......" ......LOL
  24. Damn, I already put my name down for the masterati day which is the following weekend... I'm too nervous to take the 'line racing TWO weekends in a row....if I bust something on this day I probably won't be ready for the 24th!!!!
  25. Ash......yeah mate he isn't a bad bloke. The car used to be a manual but when it started pushing 300+kw at the wheels it was impossible keeping her straight thru 2nd and 3rd gears......the solution was found by fitting a manual-ised auto box. Apparently she stays very straight thru the gears under full noise now
