damn. its the ballast. i'll get it looked at when they service it. would it be an inconsistancy in the power getting to them? i.e. one of the voltages is coming out slightly higher, hence burning slightly different colour after it warms up??

just cars was $1100 for me. and i will get a refund in a few weeks when i hit 25. and the excess will drop substantially! (i think it was cos i was with AAMI beforehand i got better rate) only thing just cars wont insure is my carbon fibre hood. :( but the full body kit YES. (suckers... my Dolphin kit would be FKN expensive to replace) i might suss out shannons aswell! since i'll be 25.

Hey man, i got the same deal on my S2 RS4S 5 year + 12 months roadside. (doesnt help tho as i already have Racv) the 5 year covers mainly parts only (including the turbo though), but no clutch! i've had it for ~4 months now and hasnt missed a beat. it was complied AFTER i put the deposit on it. which included BOV, 3" exh, FMIC, POD, Carbon Fibre Hood, and Xenons also had my timing belt done when i got an engine cover changed, and they supplied the parts and some of labour costs. quite happy with the deal so far hope you enjoy it, cos i know i have enjoyed every moment of mine! i have a feeling mine have done the same thing before i bought it. frosted on the inside (from the looks of it) also. i've replaced my Xenons, but theres definately something not quite right as one headlight burns brighter than the other, then when i swap the globes, the same headlight burns brighter. anyone know what this is?? could be an aftermath of them exploding ??

soon we wont be able to drive whilst driving... which will come shortly after: touching stereo / air con / anything in your dash. its not an iPhone officer its an iPod ??? mines always connected to my alpine via USB whenever im driving.. so what can they do then?? i'll just say i was changing song??

saw a maroon C34 Stagea today on punt road about 12:30ish. W** - 000 or something looked pretty stock to me.

it really depends where you're driving.. i purely only drive in the city and 1% of the time i actually need my headlights for the road to see rather than just to let other drivers know you're there!! im not a fan of purple so i wouldnt do it... i might be tempted at 10,000k next time for something a bit bluer... the 8000k ones i have a still pretty damn bright.. 6000K are REALLY bright..

ahhhhh i'll have a bit of a tinker and swap the globes! oh sharperdeal just wanted photos of them to prove they were not matching.. then they sent me new ones if its the globes, i'll get sharper deal to send me new ones (AGAIN) .. if its the assembly, i'll have to get it looked at. fingers crossed its the globes!

i'll check.. i know they sometimes dont sit in correctly as those wire clips can bend and push it on an angle sometimes.. i'll swap them over tonight and see if the colour difference changes side. if it does. then i'll hit up 'sharper (but not matching) deal' again and say they are faulty after they came up to temperature.. where do i get a "better" kit from in melbourne?

well, this is wierd... but my right hand xenon when i turn the car on is the same colour as the other one... but after i've driven it for a while.. it goes to a more white colour, and the other stays blue... could this be an issue with my electrics? or the globes dodgy again ?? *sigh* i'm getting good at changing them.
