last night some guys in a silver skyline tried to get me to race, pull up right next to me whilst cruising at 80 on nepean then rev the engine. hahahaha i looked at them like... "u are a douche" and they took off at 100+.. ppl like that give the "real" skyline owners a bad name

Factory Xenon Globes In Series 2 Stagea

one of my recently changed HID's decided to have a spasm and will work on and off now..... (it was the side that looks like its not burning as brightly as the other side) I checked all my fuses and swapped them around, and it seemed to fix it for the moment as it seemed to stay on this time...(maybe luck???) i'm gonna have to grab the multimeter out and check it out a bit more.... i noticed that the 10A HID fuses at the bottom of the fuse box were not present...but there was another 20A HID fuse spot aswell..... i'll post up a pic tonight when i get home!.. ack!!!!@@@! it seems like i fix something on the car and something else decides to play up -

Windows 7 - What Do You Guys Think Of It?
atomaly replied to KR4-GTR's topic in PC & Games Discussion
64 bit windows 7 RC. havent had any issues whatsoever. even got my usb audio device working on it. and they're renowned for NOT working with vista or 7. will upgrade to my free copy i got sent to me when i can be bothered formatting! 7 > Vista && XP. will be upgrading at work soon.. the problem with 7 is that there is no built in support for developing in VB6. (i work on alot of legacy programs) so i will be using VMWare with a XP virtual HDD. should be fine only issue i had was that i liked coding with dual screens and i couldnt get a virtual PC to span. so u have to remote desktop to the virtual PC and then span the screens. yay I really dislike being on Vista at work when i'm on 7 at home though!!! :| thats my 5 cents / 2$ -
okay i've sorted my issue out... (auugh so simple too) it was my rear tyre diameter being slightly less than my fronts as they have worn quicker.. it caused my ATESSA system to malfunction and think that the rear wheels were slipping ever so slightly! i swapper my rears with my fronts and now its smooth sailing seems to have fixed the shuddering altogether!
-
thanks man. i got the fronts swapped with the rears today. and went for a long drive... and the issue is gone.. the problem now is the fronts are now the more worn tyres so they dont handle as well (feels a bit spongey and not as crisp) i'll buy some new fronts as a christmas / new year present to my stag BIG thanks to everyone for helping me out (specially scotty and cam, i owe u guys)!!

OOoo Mercedes E class wagon. 6.2-litre V8... 525 HP the price is killer tho... i'd rather a GT-R wagon anyway.. come on Nissan!!!

spotted a limegreen R34 near chaddy on princess hwy at about 1pm Sunday. and also spotted a Blue C34 Stag! at the same place..
-
hey! I'm after a Stagea "Boost Sensor"! the nipple in mine was broken when i bought the car, and wasn't plugged in. thought i should get one thats not broken! i think the same sensor is used on R33 / R34 aswell (correct me if i'm wrong) oh yeah and i want to be able to pick it up in melbourne Cheers, Tomas
-
i dont really have the cash to spend on new tyres atm. would putting the fronts on the rears fix the issue (if it is the issue) for the time being? i know i read a thread one time that said that works (i think) ?
-
spotted a stock blue S2 C34 today whilst near chadstone on the princes fwy!.. pulled up beside them and waved and i got ignored
-
Okay few other things I've noticed! My Tyres at the back are actually probably twice as warn than the fronts! Would swapping them around fix a possible attessa issue? When the car has been sitting in the sun all morning and I drive it, the issue happens twice as quickly or sometimes straight away! The engine is going strong when it happens, the air intake sortof wooshes in time with the shudders (probably cos the car is jerking) Also after changing the sparkers n cleaning the air intakes the idle is heaps lower! I.e 7-800rpm warm! (there is a slight inconsistancy in the idle sometimes tho)

i was looking right there and i didnt see it! it must have been hiding in a nook somewhere haha i'll do the battery trick tonight! thanks for the guidance man!
-
i went to reset my ECU using the "bridging pin" method last night (nissan way?).. haha would help if i can find the right plug. i've never tried this method and i failed miserably at finding the right bit. anyone else done it that way before??? if not i'll just disconnect the battery for a while.... (remove the positive right?)
-
i'll have a listen to see when i go for a drive next! i have a feeling the engine is going strong still when it happens, but i'll check to make sure.. i do know we discussed putting redline in it, but he went for a thinner martini oil as he said redline might be too thick.! (i think)
-
okay some other ideas i've had: going back to the fact that it was fine before it was serviced. 1: could it be the different Oil that was used when they changed it at service? it went from Motul -> Martini maybe i should try changing back to how it was before it was serviced? 2: could it be an Oil Filter they used? 3: my gear box was also serviced and oil was changed. could it be related to that? i would think if it was a fuel filter it would happen all the time rather than when its hot?
