I'm getting a R35 GTR next year and wish it came in manual cause slower shifts don't bother me, as long as the power output and getting planted in the seat is the same I'm happy... Playing with the revs and clutch etc is where it's at.. but yes I'm willing to sacrifice it for the GTR, lucky it's got the paddle shifts.

yeah I can understand all that, (that's actually what I thought the case was)... when the time comes to buy the GTR for me (beginning next year) I could just as easily buy it from the gold coast rather than moorooka depending on price and level of service..

you guys realise that the GTR can be serviced at Moorooka Nissan in Brisbane? I thought the exact same thing, I'd never let someone drive my (future) GTR those distances.. No doubt he'll give it a few thrashes on the highway etc... only reason he's collecting it cause he gets to drive a 370z up and a GTR down and then back again.. who wouldn't, try asking for the same service for a micra lol...

mazda 3 are different with their pricing.. I think their margins are smaller.. Will be negotiating a price for a brand new maxda cx9 luxury this weekend, intersted to see how much i'll get it for...

wheneva I have bought cars I have always worked on not to offer anything less than a 10% discount of total driveaway price.. I'll be buying next years GTR model (I'm in no rush, may aswell wait and see what revisions they make).. Interesting how much it will be next year and how much I can bargain down.
