  2. don't get it either...blown it?, but it did look good lol
  3. also just wondering how many of you would consider this car and how many wouldn't give it a second look?
  4. measure it with a ruler, from wheel to guard and see roughly what you need and apply
  5. the guy has sent me a couple of receipts of the turbo's and pistons that were purchased, looks good, but i'm gonna call him tomorrow if i can and ask who installed them etc and the workshop who did the works ....in regards to that what should i be looking for and what should specifically should i be asking?
  6. what about the km? i know that some GTRs list 80000kms but thats just bs, this one has listed 200k kms is that more of a true reading you reckon?
  7. Hi guys n girls just wondering what your initial thoughts are of this R32 GTR is (http://www.carsales....id=12C21FF7BA09) pro's con's etc...i know its not a lot to go on but i just want to know some comments before i go inspect or anything like that.... so any comments or suggestions on it or for me would be appreciated, thanks.
  8. interested can you post some pics up or email them to me please @ [email protected] thanks. also if you can tell me a ball park figure that your looking for.
  9. if your changing from stock to an aftermarket exhaust then of course the noise will change, there are many aftermarket systems that sound awesome, do a little searching on this forum in the v section here there was recently a post on people naming a few or just go to youtube and check them out...
  10. check out ebay, but those bc's are pretty good for price...
  11. hey mate for the spacer...DIY its very easy, i did it with a mate took two nights about 4 hours but then i was cleaning a lot of stuff and checking things here and there and mucking around and taking mad breaks from taking a break....i probably take 1 hour if you know what your doing, saying that there is some tute videos on youtube that show you how to do it. to be honest i had more trouble installing grounding kit than the spacer. As for headers iv heard that they are most expensive to power ratio for the 350 and hell expensive to install, id go cats and exhausts tbh much easier to install and costs less to do so (took 1 hour to do exhaust and1 for the cats)
  12. why dont you just go test drive a whole lot of cars that are mentioned and see which one you like most?
  13. I had kumhos and they were terrible , no min grip and loads of noise. Also be prepared to pay tax on your tires since probably the tires plus shipping is gonna be over 1000 so add another 10% Go check out how much Yokohama advan sports are, minimal noise and grip is phenomenal, iv said this a lot of time and a lot of users who had them +1 it and I'm sure it will happen again here lol
  14. That expensive even though I'm not looking for show car quality, just a good rust free body and a good interior. I do know a few people who were ex panel heaters and mechanics as well that will help out when I need help or that would give advice on how to do things. Also I have around 10k to spend on the car (without cost of the car) and atm im thinking that should do

  17. As I said mate I have been looking around but haven't exactly found what I'm looking at, thanks for your answer it will help me overall and atm I'm confident I can sand back and patch up small bits but still need to do more work, also ill enroll in a course or two to get some pro help and learn more that way. Also I have a pre pre project car to work on and test things out before putting the work on to the actual project car just to help avoid things and see where my limits are, again I'm asking those questions to build ny knowledge of the area and have a basis on prices from peoples personal experiences and notes. I do apologize for errors in this post , posted via phone with shotty keypad
  18. Thanks nick ill give them a call tommrow Allso anyone know what exactly do I Google to see these places or whats the actual business type so i can yellow pages it lol
  19. Thnks , that's what I thought for the small bits thanks for confirmation , also with both big and small, would the overall product look all flush and no difference when the whole car gets its respray, being that some metal would be newer than the rest etc.

  21. I don't plan on respraying my self just prep work ie sand back to bare metal and fix the rust that I can, but first i need answers to those questions just to get a general idea on price

  23. Lol yoyo, nws but its under covers atm, unvieling when and if I buy it after I put a bit of pricing together which hopefully ill get an idea of after a few of those questions are answered.
  24. Hey guys iv used the search button before posting this but haven't found exactly what I wanted to know, anyway here it goes... I'm considering buying a project car and it has some rust spots minor ones that are bubbling underneath paint work and some big ones like holes in the doors. The car nevertheless will need a new paint job, now question time; 1 - iv heard about the dips they do to get rid of dirt on the body after its been strip of paint and it cleans the metal up and rids of rust bits anyone know what exactly this is called if they understand what I just said lol 2 - the minor rust I'm guessing it will be shave back and apply with fiberglass and hardener and make smooth and apply primer and went sand a coupe of time to make smooth and flush and then respray, wondering is this the best method? 3 - about the bigger holes that the rust has eaten up, what to do there? 4 - piece of string put aside, how much would I be looking at paying for a good respray if I do prep work ie sand back fill most of the rust spots that I can and remove any dings that I can do myself? Any of the four answered would be great
  25. no i havent had the chance mate, ill try getting around doing it some time this week
