  1. Thanks for the kind words! Braided lines are the most effective way to go about it. There is another way however.. if you want the look without the price tag you can buy a steel braid to go over your exisiting hose. It doesn't look as neat because you cant get the tension in the cover the properly made lines have, it also is a prick to get on and you will end up with a lot of holes in the end of your fingers! It is an option however. The bits are not cheap, which is why most people replace things for performance reasons as well as cosmetic instead of for the sake of it. If you want any pricing or information don't hesitate to drop me a pm! Thanks, Ben.
  2. Hey mate, I did all the dis assembly on my R34 myself. I'll tell you know it is a pain in the arse but definitely doable. The part i found most difficult was actually removing the water lines that run inline with the block across the top of the manifolds. Make sure you have a good set of sockets with an extension that lets you get some angle! I didn't have a guide but was also technically minded so it was ok, just started at the airbox and worked my way back and it took me a few days doing it every night. I'm not sure if thats the right way to go about it but thats how i did it! I also have pictures and stuff of some of the steps if you are interested. Oh also, make sure you can get your car up in the air because some of the water drains are fastened underneath the manifolds and i found the only way to get to them was under the front of the car (Same with removing front pipe / dumps obviously) but like i said i was just doing it the only way i knew how!
