how much would u sell some boston rally splits for?

after something more powerfull thanks i need something like my old amp, it was 4x100rms but 2 chans or mono

remember, general rule is , if ur running 15inch subs, run 8inch splits, 12inch and 6-6.5inch, and 10's r 4inch. they say this because of frequency seperation for when the larger driver should take over

i think its a safe bet to say, that unless u have a luxury model car, any aftermarket system is going to be way way better than ur stock system. Depends on how good u want it thats all. i have a friend in a similar position to boners, bought some splits, some 7x10's and an alpine type S sub, amped the splits and sub with a boss audio amp, and it sounded very very nice! Then, satisfied wit his system, he spent his money on other things.

i disagree with some of the above comments. some people just want a stereo system for some decent sound, and are not too into it unlike you or I. Theyre into other things and would rather spend their money on something else. $1,000 gets u a very nice aftermarket stereo system but like anything, more money will get you something better. It's obvious. If you're not going to worry too much about ur sound system, and want to spend ur money on other things , ie. performance mods or something, then a 1K system u'll keep for a very long time.

make an install pod into ur glovebox or something, nice and safe there. If ur HU doesnt have an aux in, then ur gonna have to use rca splitters or something, and connect the audio to ur amp while ur head unit speakers r connected to ur amp. that way the ps2's signals r going to amp aswell as HU signals, then u can use whichever one u want at different times. if it has aux in, then get a converter that converts from RCA to audio in kinda plug and plug it in there. ur HU will know when the PS2 is on, because there'll be an AUX in signal coming to it. there should be a power button ur monitor...otherwise it'd be on always. if thats the case, then u'll have to build a circuit to make it power on when the ps2 is only on, this'd be difficult..i dont know how...maybe ask at Jaycar or something.

i'd go jvc mp3 deck - $350 pg octane splits - $200 pg dvc sub - $200 a 4 channel amp to run it all (jaycar 4x100 or 2nd hand vnet 4100) for about $350 wiring + wood for box = $70 approx $1k and it should sound fairly good

about that ^ theres lotsa different types too, paints , mats etc.

stealth install. get a hacksaw and cut a stock headunit so its like a faceplate re-install ur headunit so it sits down into the pockets a bit more. when u leave ur car, sit that face plate over ur detached orignal headunit plate. any retard stealing a car will know theres a system if u have no faceplate, its an aftermarket headunit, but if u have a shit one that looks stock, whos gonna bother. put some audioline grilles over ur good speakers or use stock grilles if u have. and dont go to where ur gonna park with ur boot rattling with subs (:
