  1. Thanks for letting me know - working now?
  2. Hi All, It pains me to say but my pride and joy is up for sale. Need to find a family car as there's a baby on the way (I attempted arguing the feasability of making a baby seat work in a coupe, however to no avail)... The R34 GT-R has always been my dream car so it obviously goes without saying that this legendary motor vehicle has been meticulously cared for. Always garaged, washed, polished, serviced and driven by a responsible and mature enthusiast. No EBC fitted, this car has not been boosted or abused. I am the 3rd owner, the car was imported at about 80,000km from Japan by the 2nd owner in Melbourne. I flew there to buy it around 2 years ago after a long seach for the right Godzilla. Although fairly stock, as any GT-R afficionado knows, the RB26DETT is explosive and I'm gonna miss the sound and feel of this car. 1999 R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R Bayside Blue 120,000 GENUINE km HKS intercooler piping Twin HKS pod filters HKS piggy-back ECU Tein Coil-over suspension (lower than standard about 2 inches) RS-R stainless cat-back exhaust DBA slotted front rotors 19 inch charcoal Tenzo DC-5 rims with near-new Achilles tyres Nismo clear front and side indicators Top Secret carbon fibre front and rear diffusers GReddy twin A-pillar gauge pod Defi BF link series Boost gauge Defi BF link series Water temp gauge Mongoose car alarm with window lift kit Tinted windows Long rego til end March 2011 Price: $45,000 The interor is A1, and virtually as it left the showroom. Exterior is excellent with only the odd very minor stone chip on the front bar that you'd expect from a 1999 model vehicle. When washed the bayside blue paint colour is absolutely beautiful. There is a minor shopping centre dent and scratch to the driver's side rear quarter which I am in the process of arranging to have repaired by a quality panel beater prior to sale. Overall any inspection will confirm that this car has been lovingly cared for and, in my humble opinion, with this colour, stance and wheels, is one of the best looking GT-Rs around. Serviced regularly (log books to prove) using Motul synthetic oil. Big-dollar 100,000km service has been performed with no expense spared. Minor mechanical maintenance has always been carried out when needed such as new brake discs and new front CV boots recently. Receipts for all such work performed. I have never had any dramas at all with this car, it has been an absolute pleasure to own. I welcome any inspection but please no time wasters. The car has ICE including Kenwood DVD/GPS unit, Rockford Fosgate splits and amps/sub in boot however these will be uninstalled upon sale with original equipment returned in its place. I am going to organise some better quality photographs prior to selling as I want a keepsake of my dream car anyway, once these are taken I will upload. For the moment the linked pics will have to suffice. I have included some of the car as it was when I purchased with white Nismo rims and minus the clear indicators which I added later. To answer the inevitable questions, yes the car is badged as a V-spec, however it is not a V-spec. This is how it was when I bought it, I don't know why the previous owner saw fit to badge it as something that it is not. http://s75.photobucket.com/albums/i298/15091Bravo/Godzilla/ Thanks for looking, Jon 0414 982 745
  3. Defi Gauges SOLD Turbo Timer still for sale
  4. Hi All I am selling second hand Defi Link gauges 60mm. Boost and Water Temp. These are not the newer BF series with the blacked out face when turned off, they have black backgrounds with white and blue markings. Illuminating colour is green. When connected they do the famous Defi 'opening ceremony' self-calibrating needle sweep. I have all the wiring needed to connect to a control unit and to the respective engine parts (hoses, sensors etc), plus will throw in the Defi black mounting cups that came with my new BF gauges. Will throw in a Defi Link Control Unit ver 1, however I believe it is not working correctly. Gauges will illuminate through the unit however mechanical function doesn't work when hooked up through it. Someone who knows more than me may be able to work it out and if so, you're getting a very cheap kit. In any case I have tested these gauges through the verII control unit in my GT-R and I can assure they work pefectly. Only selling because I bought these but then upgraded to BF series and replaced above verI unit with the ver II control unit currently in my car. Used but excellent conditon. $150 per gauge or the lot for $250. Prefer Brisbane buyer but will post at buyer's expense. http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i298/150...vo/P2010018.jpg http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i298/150...vo/P2010014.jpg http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i298/150...vo/P2010010.jpg Also have a brand new, unused, still in box Shadow Mini Timer. Has full auto function. $30. Only selling because my car alarm has turbo timer function. http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i298/150...vo/P2010015.jpg http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i298/150...vo/P2010017.jpg Cheers Jon 0414 982 745
  5. Spotted a gorgeous girl driving a gorgeous black R34 246JYR northbound on the highway from Coomera to Loganholme. Hot!
  6. People, Ive fitted my new wheels so these LMGT4s are now available immediately. The four of you who had made offers, you have PMs. Cheers Jon
  7. Hey Simon reason you haven't seen me is cos I only drove it up from Melbourne about 2 weeks ago. It's my daily driver now so you will probably see a lot of me! Whereabouts do you live? Jon
  8. Hey All I've just picked up a bayside blue R34 GTR. My dream car is finally a reality! I'm at Redland Bay and would be keen to meet up some time. As one or two from this site now know, yes I am a cop, but a Detective in the CIB. I investigate serious criminal matters, I don't write tickets so gimme a chance before you write me off!!! We're not all bad... I can't stand Traffic Branch as much as the next person!!! Cheers Jon
  9. Yeah that was me. Nice 33 mate.

    My new toy

First half decent photos of my new GT-R
  11. Thought I'd throw up some pics so you can see how they look on the car. All PMs replied. statement.doc
  12. Sorry should have specified - the tyres are Bridgestone Potenza RE050A's. As stated tread is near new. I can assure that all wheels are in as good a nick as that pictured above. No gutter rash or scratches. Just the worn Nismo stickers.
  13. I have today checked and the wheels are 18 x 9.5, PCD 114.3 and offset +12. This from sticker on the rears. Can't see a sticker on the front but I assume they're the same, as they have the same rubber. Sorry for the delayed info. I thought the fact that I said they are on my R34 GT-R would mean at least some people out there would know if they fit or not pending the specific offset details.
  14. Hey Name's Jon and I live Redland Bay, work Morningside area. Just picked up an R34 GT-R. Haven't taken any pics yet but its bayside blue with carbon fibre diffusers front and rear and 18inch Nismo LMGT4s. Hopefully I'll get to a meet sooner or later. Cheers
  15. Re the gauge holder. What size are the holes to suit? 52 or 60mm? And does it fit an R34 GTR A-pillar? By universal I take it that it can be trimmed to suit most applications but I want something ready to go out of the packet to suit.
