i only work up here as im FIFO from Perth and im only here in Port Hedland for another month or two, afte that who knows where i end up, as far as a race track i highly doubt it, there would have to be an illegal drag strip the locals use as there is plennty of straight roads out here to go play on late at night once you get there my Skyline should be ready to sell, ill pay you a spotters fee for selling my car!! good on ya for being so excited about your new car mate, shes a corka!! ive seen a couple of Skylines around Karratha and im currently working in Port Hedland and ive seen 1 here driving to and from work ied say, and with a black car your gonna spew if you wanna try keep it clean as in dust free, its just in the air mate not much you can do about it, but atleast all the roads around here are bitumised and in good nick, the only crap thing about having a car like that up here are the cops, they have ZERO tolerance when it comes to hoons, im talking, if you even chirp 2nd they will do ya and you pride n joy will end up in a yard on the corner of the main road with a huge windscreen sign that reads "HOON" hahaha, no shit, ill try get a photo for ya, currently there is a commodore there with it on!! not to scare ya off bringing a car like that up here but if it breaks expect to pay big dollars to get it sorted at the local mechanics!! enjoy the Pilbara buddy, you got a month or two before you get 50deg in the shade, i frigin hate summer up here, makes me wanna quit evey time, now i have desk job ahhh!!! yeh, im going to do that when i get home, ill pop in and see if he still works there, i wont hold my breath as its been a couple of years!! i think if i can I.D the pistons with a bore-a-scope ill do that but if i was to sell the car i would need solid proof that the engine is forged!! Gonz.

yeh, i thought it was a far cry seeing as it was over 2 years ago but i thought ied give it ago!! whats a gasket kit worth? or if i look down the spark plug holes, can i tell if its got forgies? or do i really need to remove the head and have a look? Gonz.

The photos below are exactly how the car was purchased by my sister inlaw mid 2006 (minus the chrome tint) from a guy up in Quinn Rocks, the story goes that when he had it he was running nitrous, he blew it up so had the engine rebuilt by a shop in malaga that isnt operating anymore but apparently the engine builder now works at Chris Mills Performance? Anyways, he was moving house and promised he would send the receipts to show that the engine was re-built with a forged bottom end and all the other bits n pieces but ofcourse nothing came. Ive now since purchased this car from my sister in law and now im looking at selling it, but before i advertise that it has a forged bottom end ill need to confirm it so before i pull down the engine to see what it has i would like to know if anyone recognises this car and can confirm or deny its history saving me the time n money to pull the engine down. cheers, Gonz. hmmm so now it could be a 55lt tank? man, surely someone has emptied a series 1 fuel tank and can confirm how many litres it is..

sweet, so my car will have a fuel light then, im too scared to run it low anyways incase it runs out of fuel while im giving it a foot full!! can anyone confirm the fuel tank capacity? Gonz.

What is the fuel tank capacity for the series 1 R33 GTS-t? Does the same vehicle have an in dash fuel warning light when close to empty? My car has a white cluster facia fitted(came with car), having only recently purchased this car ive only just taken notice of how many litres it took to fill as im trying to guage my fuel useage, anyways, i filled it up the other day as it was on the last line on the guage and it only took 45 litres? I think the fuel guage needle has been put on wrong when the facia was put on, but when its full its pretty close to the "full" line. in my searches ive found that its either 60 or 65 litres? so which is correct, and how did you confirm it? cheers Gonz.

this is the only pic i have atm untill i get home from up north, but they did the door infills, elbow pads, center console, gear shift boot and the seats and head rests, all Italian leather, all double stitched in silver, the ute is sold but remains in the club, i saw it at the Perth Performance Motorshow and its still in excellent condition and its still a daily driver for the new owner too, so i couldnt recomend them anymore, if anything, atleast go to their shop and check em out!! hey man, ive used GM Mallaine in east perth in the past and they will be doing my Skyline for Powercruise if i get the funds together, these guys are excellent, they have done a few full interiors in my other club and they are all quality, they advertise in Perth Street Cars, ask for Brad, tell him i sent ya, he has done my last ute, full custom leather job, with all the extra bits i wanted just over $1300, they retro fitted FPV seat pads into an earlier falcon, that was extra but they will do anything you want, one loser i whent to in Ozy park wanted $1300 just to do the 2 seats!! check out their web site for contact details, ask for Brad. cheers, ima fan of silver cars, its my 3rd, the other 2 being utes, i realy like the black and silver contrast it gives, my other favourite car colour is burgundy, and Skylines look great in both colours IMO!! hahaha, yeh i bet, i dont know why someone would do that, im proud of it being a GTS-t, but dont get me wrong, if i had the money for a GTR thats what it would be lol! Gday all, some great R33 examples in here, its been a great read from pg 1 lol! i thought i would post some pics of my newly aquired S1 R33 GTS-t, its got some things on there i know your all gonna spew, ie: GTR badge!! but keep in mind ive just bought it and none of it is my doing, infact my sister inlaw who sold it to me bought it like that too back in 06' hahah...but it does have some fruit with 300rwhp. Also, if anyone in WA recognise this car please pm me as im chasing details of the engine and management system, i was told it has a Forged bottom end after it fried a piston in standard form with nitrous! This car was purchased in 06 by my sister inlaw, that previous owner had the engine done by a shop N.O.R back in 06.(im lead to believe the engine builder now works at Chris Mills Performance??) Thats all the info i have on its history, so if you know the car or the old owner please pm me!! cheers!! what the future holds: Ive since got custom plates for it, i got "SCR33MN" in poly white on grey, slim line front!! woot! Stickers on door...GONE! GTR Badge...GONE! You might spot in the pics the ding in the front rim? well ive got to see if i can get it fixed, if i can then i will also paint them black. Im going to get rid of the mirror tint and just get black tint all round, legal up font, darker on the rears! A clean up of the interior, driver seat is pretty worn and some painted bits are scratched and stuff on the dash. As far as engine mods go, i hope to have a new GT35 hangin off it in time for Powercruise in October(High Flow turbo will be for sale then) if it turns out the engine realy does have a forged bottom end then look out, hahah... keep the great pics comin... cheers, Gonz.

someone should make a sticky for questions like these, a thread with info only of suppliers of Import parts in WA with no chit chat just buisness names with address's and phone numbers...the same should be done for Import Mechanics/Tuners in WA, just my 2c but would make life easy, specialy for NoObiEs like me!! lol! a search just brings up so much stuff it takes hours to siff through and anyone with a new born in the house and working away doesnt have the time,i know i dont!! anyways, good thread so far!! Gday, noObI here to the Skyline scene but old hand at event hosting from other clubs with other cars, and wondering how much interest there would be for a S.O.R Skyline Cruise with a feed one night in the comming weeks, i work away so its hard for me to make the other cruises you guys have so i thought i might organise my own, ive organised plennty in the past in other car clubs so there will be various meet points so others in the North can join in, there will be a food stop, and some great roads with abit of everything, so it will be good with Maps and two way radios if you have them... The Plan: meet up in Rockingham, head to Freo via my personal favorite roads, pick up some more Skylines there then head off for a river run, some freeway then some more river running, head back through Freo then onto Rockingham for its completion, somewhere in there i will throw in a food stop and all in all it should be a fairly long cruise with atleast 4 hours drive time with abit of everything for everyone. N.O.R Skyline owners are more than welcome, maybe someone from up there can organise a cruise to Freo and latch on to our cruise from there and finish in Rocko or even back in Freo!! Im sugesting either Friday night the 3rd of July or Saturday the 4th evening, whos keen, and what date would be better, im thinking Saturday night??? owners from the Rockingham area and surroundings are encouraged to come along, ive seen heaps around here and it would be great to know whos who!! All i ask is that we keep our heads about ourselves and respect other road users during the cruise, we never want to S#!% in our own area so there is always a time and a place and outta sight is outta mind !!! oh! well there goes that theory then i guess, lol! all i can hope for is that my luck remains with me and i never get bothered like my previous cars, and if i ever get done ill deal with it then, no point in trying to be legal when suposedly they sticker you anyways even though you got permits. hahaha, yeh i spose, with some of you saying that permits dont mean much then whats the point of spending the money on getting the permits then, what a crap system, im hoping that because im abit older than most of you here(no offence) i may be right if i get pulled over for a breatho or licence check!! so the front number plate can be mounted on the side...sweet, my new slim plate will be going to the side then, i cant wait to get them, im not sure how long they will be as i forgot to ask, but hopfuly soon!!, its been 4 weeks already and i havnt heard anything! gees, all sounds like hard work, in all my years driving modded cars ive only ever been done when i was in my early 20's, my last couple of utes have never been bothered so i hope my luck remains, cheers for the info!! gday guys, good topic, im also curious about a few things myself if i may... how do you get the permits? do you get them the same place as where you go for the pits inspection? i thought to get rid of a yellow you just go to your local approved mechanical workshop and get it checked and passed? is side mounting you front number plate illegal? ill be dong this once my custom plates get here, woot! i think im asking for trouble with my new plate anyways though!!lol! am i mad to book in to get my Skyline inspected over the pits to find out whats good and what isnt before the fuz get to me? gees, sorry, so many questions, ive only just picked my 33 up so im just reading around trying to pick up info as i go, cheers!!
