  3. I release my love after about 3 minutes of furious pounding. My arms sore.
  4. Some more gimics: http://www.turbozet.com/ http://www.spiralmax.com/ http://www.fuelstar.com/ Oh, and additives, but lets not start THAT again :Bang:
  5. Even when our car was as stock as it came from japan (typical import mods - mags/zaust/pod) it beat wrxs no problems? Recently pwned an STI on the freeway (at willowbank I mean) like it was standing still. Thats in a fairly lightly modded 33 gtst.
  6. Possibly a useless response... but... When I back off from full throttle in my work van I get a shudder as the A/C kicks back in (you can only feel it if you've gone from full throttle to clutch-in idle rpm). No idea if thats likely to be the problem in something a little more refined like a 34 GTT Also, from my bogan days ... An incorrectly aligned tailshaft or worn uni joints will give you shudder as you back off as the slack gets taken up. Again, probably not an issue on a 34 GTT.
  7. I hope this answers your question: http://www.autech.net.au/infotech_-_faq.php Specifically: You will require software and patch leads to create a .DAT or .LOG file from your vehicles ECU. The software you require is dependant on the brand of computer you are running. The FC series of replacement computer from Apexi (ie: PowerFC) require the program FC-Datalogit, available from FC-Datalogit. Autronic requires the factory supplied software for the model of Autronic computer you are running. Currently no stock ECU support any form of .DAT or .LOG file retrieval. For specific enquiries about software to suit your computer, contact Autotech) http://www.fc-datalogit.co.nz/http://http://www.autech.net.au/' target='_blank'>
  8. True, but you'd probably have to pay with an ESCROW(sp?) service and they'd take your cash and you'd never receive the goods. Ebay rocks!
  9. A ban for 48 hours the first time, 3 months the second time and on the third time they sell your account on ebay Meh, 52% of all speed camera revenue is going into admistration. Fark me. Thats a lot of my hard earned money going to pay secretaries to type my name into the hoon database.
  10. A rice cricker? I sound bloody kiwi
  11. How frustrating is autospeed ... They lure you in with good articles, then deny you access to all the really important bits. Damn you autospeed, I wanted to make a closed loop monitor My understanding is all you need is a rice cricker, a piece of blu tac, some cotton and a nail file.
  12. Mmm. She's on optus cable (using rochd1) and I'm on telstra DSL (using mt gravatt exchange)... Our net costs so much each month just to make it look like we arent in the same room. Nismogirl: Dont worry about looking on the weekend, I aint got enough cash anyway. Unless we sell the skyrice ...
  13. I wonder what the intarweb was full of before the spammers got a hold on it? I love the lengths they goto to avoid the spam filters. Its basically unreadable. "25% of.f your ne!xt vi(a)g-ra pur%chae!" wtf
  14. You deserve more.
  15. http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!c...odel_name=IGNIS If I give them Brutis, I'll probably get a suzuki ignis sport and about 10k in cash.
  16. They make dick-all power standard and handle like poo poo So no deal thanks, I'll take the briefcase.
  17. sif the towie gave a shat (past tense of sh1t) He got scared on the drive way. I was his shepherd and I led him not into temptation but into my hill top haven. Then I started brutis and in the 5 seconds I was straightening him up in the garage (after his awfully brave dive down the towies tilt tray set at a 45 degree angle) the lights faded noticably. Stupid brutis. I think I need a new car. Not a skyrice though. Maybe a suzuki ignis sport or something small, cheap and hoonable. I give no fark for FWD, I'm cool with it. I just dig being able to fit into tiny spots without trying and then making ROFLCOPTERS and LOLLERSKATES at the big-arse falcs and 4x4s that try parking in shopping centers.
  18. I didnt have to pay any extra, and the Ready (reedy?) towing guy dumped him basically IN the garage. Was cool. Cept some nutter in a skyrice kept cutting me off. I was gonna go wall riding in the van, but I dont think the towing guy would think I was as cool as I really am.
  19. This was a misconception I had before I started repairing a dodgy fuel injection install in my KA Laser ... I thought the pressure regulator was BEFORE the fuel rail, like a traditional gas regulator (ie: CO2). Not that it was the problem with the fuel install (the surge tank was plumbed in wrong), but it was good to get it cleared up by a mechanic friend of mine. Another slightly off topic question ... Doesnt a rising rate fuel regulator work in conjunction with a standard fuel regulator? The standard fuel regulator works at normal conditions and then the rising rate regulator restricts the flow even more once the standard fuel regulator runs out of "pinch" ?
  20. meow. <-- woof
  21. Hmm, FWIW ... We run Optimax religiously, but a while back we trialed Ultimate after reccomendations from a gtir owning mate of ours. It didnt idle properly and had a miss around 2500rpm. I dont know if we simply got a bad batch or two, or wether the remenants of the Optimax mixing with the Ultimate made a Funky Fuel, but we've now gone back to Optimax and havent had a drama. Just a thought *shrug*
  22. Possibly a little off topic ... How different is SAFC and PFC in terms of fuel economy? I believe PFC is open loop, yes? So assuming you are comparing freeway driving, I'm guessing the PFC would end up worse off (and thats assuming same throttle position on the highway, but when its the M1 on a saturday night, sif that happens) Our fuel economy went very far down when we got the PFC + AVCR because the tune was so rich to stop pinging (still ended up losing a fair bit of timing). Now with a cooler, the timing is back in and the tune is good and we've gone back to pretty much standard fuel economy for us, which is about 7.5k/litre combo driving.
  23. Considering the links were for snake oil in general, I'm not overly surprised you didnt find any references to oil xtreme and its magical calcium carbonate fighting properties. Just look for another snake oil made by the same manufacturer, its sure to appear in there somewhere under another product name. I'm awfully sorry my "arrogant" testimonial doesnt fit in with your belief. Luckily all those "selfless, helpful, informative" testmonials exist that support your claims. Just out of interest ... You dont find my posts constructive because they dont agree with you? Welcome to a forum, where peoples opinions may differ occasionally.
  24. Gavins reasoning (minus most of the more colourful words) was that the malpassi couldnt maintain its set pressure between full boost and idle, especially after a hard run then quick back off. You would see the malpassi holding full boost fuel reg pressure even at idle, or vice versa (ouch!) Also the build quality was "shit" and "typical of italian crap" and "I wouldnt even throw one on at my worst enemy". ... Thats not entirely verbatim
  25. Those be-1s are like a japanese made mini. Autoshop has one in its yard. Very .. urhm .. distinct? They go alright though, they run flat 12s once you put some roil in them
