  1. southbank! Apparently you need a pass, but ringing southbank should give you permission if its for personal use only... Another good one is riverside, mt gravatt lookout and kangaroo point cliffs.
  2. Note #2: Wires were taped up after the photo was taken, not left exposed Means: No heat shrink, bloody dodgy mechanics
  3. Note: Boost controller getting power from stock boost controller power supply. Means: Low boost setting (reccomend 9psi) until 4500rpm, high boost (reccomend 12psi) from 4500rpm onward. By running a parallel neutral into the cabin, you can switch it for constant high boost too if you wanted.
  4. Thats a good idea, I wish I had of thought of that :D How good was my idea? Eh? Eh? Damn good idea.

    Please Help!

    Another private joke gone wrong
  6. So what, my dad can beat up your dad. And I can pee higher than you.
  7. Just a thunk.... How about buying some PVC fittings from bunnings, making up a pipe that goes to cold air that a pod fits on, then taking that PVC to an exhaust shop and get them to make it out of stainless? Looks trick, doesnt need you to have the car off the road, costs about 8 bucks from bunnings and the pod sucks the cold air. Course, if you are just redirecting cold air to the standard air box, ignore me. (PS - And pod filters filling with water and blowing up and killing the engine and eating babies is BS )
  8. (NB - More impressive cause its a DCC speed, not cause of the overall speed)
  9. We're on optus cable. No troubles with speed
  10. Boost = 158 active users currently online PF = Currently Active Users: 86 Skyriceaus = http://http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/#top' target='_blank'> Currently Active Users: 87 (78 members and 9 guests) Boost is easily twice the speed. PF is also significantly quicker. Be interesting to see how much CPU load is generated by the various whoretowns... Maybe Skyriceaus just doesnt have the CPU power or bandwidth the others have? Maybe vbulletin is slower than invision? I dunno. Just frustrating I can reply to 3 topics before Skyriceaus has even finished loading one Maybe Optus just hates the connection.
  11. Wondering why skyriceaus goes about 1/100th the speed of every other forum I'm trawling right now. I guess the massive number of SQL queries being run just to satisfy the various whoretown threads.
  12. I do some stupid shit, but touching other peoples property (read: car) is something I'll never do. A car is hallowed turf, even if the owner smokes a pack of c0cks a day.
  13. I lost 12 points on my P's (4 point license), but got it back after going to court so never really got a suspension. Managed to lose 12 cause I lost 6 (2 x 3 points) and got a court date, then lost 6 more (2 x 3 pointers as well) in the meantime.. doh Lost another 6 so far (2 x 3 pointers, argh ffs!) but hey, 6 is plenty.
  14. Yay for irrelevant spamming in old threads!
  15. Yeah bought a 40gb ipod and one of these: Now broadcasting on 100.0FM ... KrawlerFM giving out icey cold cans of coke and taking your requests now on 0411 xxx xxx!
  16. Pete aka Rebuild-and-use-the-trip-from-rockie-to-brisbane-as-"run-in"-period. He was funny.
  17. Reckon Billy may just know a whisker more about nissans than you jay... When the content is right, who cares about presentation
  18. Some people dont like driving to the coast. Which is fair enough. I'll be buggered if we'll take our car anywhere else though. Been ripped too many times by so-called "experts" before we found a reliable mechanic (gavin) so aint gonna change now to save ~30mins travel time (yayay southside massive)
  19. Did anyone from SAU compete? I wasnt there, I was on call. Good reason I reckon.
  20. I had a pie too. And damned if theres any psychology reason behind me being a fat prick, its just cause I like pies and doing ****-all. Dont analyze dammit, just get stuck in and enjoy the lifes pleasures. Fit and healthy is for old people who are getting scared of dying of a heart attack
  21. I've got a 40Gb Nomad Zen Extra which started stuffing up in terms of the headphone connection making / breaking contact. It started getting worse, so I pulled it apart to resolder the connection that had broken inside. Unfortunately, where the solder sticks onto the PCB came off and I cant work out how its meant to be stuck back down. Its not solder, but its still something that is conductive. Either way, I've decided to leave it to the experts so does anyone know who repairs stuff like this? I bought it from america, so I cant just take it back there. And the warranty would be well and truly voided anyway and thats not including me opening it up. Hopefully someone local is able to repair it, even if its just someone with sk1llz in circuitry who can work out how to repair the board.
  22. Whats an axxa?
  23. I've got a mouse. I bought a belkin FM transmitter. Its a piece of shit. Dont ever buy one.
  24. I invented a saying for this situation! "A watched pot never boils". Possibly I invented it. Or maybe I just heard it. I dunno. Good saying though.
  25. Dammit man, I layered the sarcasm on pretty thick I thought FWIW... Using the super-dooper-fun-stuff at http://www.autech.net.au/infotech_-_free.php ... .35 bar = 5.07632103640psi
