Its all owned by the GovCo, and rented / leased to the airport corporation (private company) on a certain number of years contract. It makes it hard for any upgrades cause its like trying to convince a land son of rajab to let you do it Although I seem to recall the contract is like 25 years or something stupid.

Amen to that. I was actually having a looksie at some of the highways heading west... They've put in new highways off to the side, in some cases bypassing a corner or similiar which means there are several lanes worth of bitumen not being used for anything more hardc0re than stopping grass from growing (temporarily).... I wonder how feasible(sp?) it would be to put the same concrete barriers they use for Indy around and let the hoons do stupid things there? Obviously thanks to public liability etc they couldnt actively condone it, but maybe just stack some barriers and simply not watch it. Or something. I dunno. You can understand them not wanting to build a facility (lots of $$$'s for a minority group who wont win any seats), but why not let us destroy what isnt needed or even being used?
