  4. being able to exceed expectations. I find that 99% of my customers are prepared to pay top dollar for their job, as long as the job is out on time and the presentation and product impresses.
  5. the guys got a 1500 dollar wheel alignment machine, that can't fronts unless you take your front bar off / takes 5 days to do your tyres
  6. Hey guys ive got two RB25bottom ends or sale, One Motor started off as a genuine 60 thousand km motor, Ran perfect til dropped compression on number 3 due to lean out Head is in good working order. Bottom end is in perfect condition, bar 1 piston that had a cracked ringland. all cylinders are in perfect condition, can still see perfect hone marks in bores All bores are perfect, Measure up to standard. Ring gaps on pistons that i pulled out were within tolerances Good for someone wanting to build a bottom end or has a set of forged pistons that are standard bore Also have a Spare Bottom end a couple of cracked ringlands, bores are fine. Though one bore has electrolysis marks on the inside. Suit hone or rebore $350 for the head $500 for the Bottom end (crank, pistons complete. It is currently wrapped up on an engine stand. Everything labelled, All Bolts Bagged) $250 For the bottom end with the slight marks in the bore any questions feel free to pm
  7. plan scrapped. I ended up picking the right turbo for the job ease up. it had a nissan 6 bolt rear on it =[

  9. same fix for mine
  10. i've had this exact same issue with my r33. Take it back to your tuner mate, there is an auxilary on your vipec that the controls (don't quote me) sensitivity for your aircon was a 5 min fix for mine, took it to another tuner, he plugged laptop in. adjusted something. problem fixed
  11. who ever said that i would be getting one new off 6 boost.? buying one that was bought for a project but never used.
  12. thanx for the feedback guys. The main factor that i am interested in going to a 6 boost style manifold is that i love the look of the turbo sitting up high. plus its only $500 for the manifold, aswell as my own time in fitment and fabrication. i know i can get the same result from the standard exhaust manifold and keep internal gate, i honestly didn't think that i am forced to go "external gate" just to use a 6 boost.
  13. Hey guys ive got an r33 rb25det, 3076R ive just thrown on my plasmaman and am looking at upgrading to a 6 boost manifold. i'm upgrading my rear housing on my 3076 to .84 and have the option of going external or internal gate the best option seems to be external gate with the 6 boost, with a decent wastegate. i'd prefer to keep internal gate. if i can get a similar result. without many hassles does anyone know anybody that has done this already? am i wasting my time? looking to hit high 200's with this setup.
  14. Item Summary: 6boost high mount manifold RB25 brand new Location: QLD: Brisbane Condition: Brand new! Reason for Selling: parting out Asking Price: 900 Hey guys. i've got a brand new 6 boost mild steel exhaust manifold that i was gonna use for my 25/30 build but i am no longer needing it. its HPC coated black, Split pulse manifold (quicker spool) t4 flange (can get adaptor for t3 if needed) have all new nuts so it can bolt onto your 25, 25/30. not too sure if it will fit on an rb20? external wastegate v band suit 60 mm gate. as said, its never been used. motor is going in another direction. 0411 353 493 also interested in a set of nice wheels to fit an r33, as part payment cheers

  16. thats right i was there on track. imports ftw!
  17. ive got a set of rb26 rods out of a 33 gtr if they are any improvement over stock, i should compare them to standard rods
  18. machining is cheap, i thought i was having a good run on the stock head gasket atm seems to be good on my current standard motor @20+ psi I will prob go the rod bolts aswell as a the arp head bolts. Standard Rods look quite robust. With this crank collar. i take it the factory crank collar only goes iunto the pump drive 5 mm or so. aftermarket collars go into the oil pump 12mm(?). so less chance of slip or braking do you have to rebalance the crank with this new crank collar? still fine to use the factory oil pump with the upgraded crank collar?
  19. its probably a good preventative measure to replace them with arp head studs, Standard head bolts look to be Sturdy and high quality tho. Ive looked into an mls head gasket, i'm undecided as i don't really want to get the block decked just to put one on. anyone else put a mls headgasket on without decking the block and giving a quick clean up with a wizzer and some flap wheels? i just wasn;t to sure how tolerant they were compared to standard style headgaskets.
  20. hey guys, i am putting together a rb25 just for street use. At the moment my current setup on my current motor is 3071R plasmaman 6 boost manifold all supporting mods exhaust, fmic, injectors, pump, vipec. etc I have got another Rb 25 that i am about looking at assembling, its only done 70 thousand kms, i've pulled it apart and all bearings, rings, piston clearances are within factory tolerances. i am looking at freshening it up with: Genuine nissan headgasket genuine nissan bearings, mains, thrust and big end bushes. Cosworth Forged pistons (standard bore size) re-using standard head bolts and rod bolts. I'm going to upgrade my 3071R to a 3076R, looking to push about 300 rwkw. and still maintain drivability and a reliable motor. anything else that you guys recommend while i have got the engine apart? i'm not sure what kind of psi is needed to get to 300rwkw, but i believe the standard headgasket and head bolts are up to the job. Are forged pistons overkill for the job? i don't mind using standard pistons. if there is anything else that would be a good idea to do while the engine is apart. ive searched through the forums already, maybe there is something i have missed cheers
