anyone else here actually going thru the second hand car lot and buying all the cool old cars from GT4 (and a few new ones)??? or is it just me? its the main part of the game to me, collecting, building and thrashing every car i can get my hands on!!! yee har.. sry.......too much GT is making me a little crazy

im not sure on the exact dimensions of my battery (pretty sure its a 260cca), but it doesnt sit far below the speaker in the shelf. how much room do you have between speaker and battery?

G27 rocks, and the play seat looks good...if you can justify paying that much for a frame. im not a big fan of the bar between the legs design of it tho. good to hear the enduro's are there. i dont mind honing my skills by repeating races to get there. just means more money and more cars i can buy. thats always been what i do in GT games. i had more than 500 cars in GT4 (not just alot of the same car in differnet colors) got my 270R already, R34 GTR pace car, and a datto bluebird/1600 rally car. lotsa fun.......still waiting anxiously every day for my 400R

yup, all the TC etc off, except 1 notch of ABS. only way to drive.

one thing i was just thinking. i played at a friends place today on a controller and it seemed to drive completely differently ( yeah i know, of coarse it feels differnet to a wheel).....but it was very different, then i realised the driving physics were on Novice not Pro, or simulation. i would be willing to bet a few bucks that the peeps complaining about the feel of the cars not being right is due to this. turn it up...loose the traction control. tuned my Mach 1 stang up to 595hp today and threw it around laguna. sounds angry, does mad skids aye!!

lol more whingers. and no G25/g27 doesnt work on the xpox....awww. pretty lame for a console made by microsoft...and yet microsft based PC's can use them...lol. the fanatec is nice, but its no G27. a bit cheaper too from what i recall. the Polo around the ring isnt really a good indication of its bumpyness...those things go round there flat and max out at 160 try a faster car

do more laps it does develop a groove but yes very bumpy but thats half the fun i think. just such an epic traack, any game with it get my seal of aproval GT4 Tommy kiara ZZII 900hp........6:15 scary...scary stuff.

home made. we have lots of aluminium, so that was free. bucket seat was lying around. measurements from my 33. only thing i may change is to bring the shifter closer to the seat, otherwise its great

lol yes there is alot of whingeing here. finally got it and played the hell out of it over the last 2 days. lvl 15 already and i find it hard to stop playing. sure the shadows are a bit dicky, and in true GT form the sounds are all sorts of wierd. bumping into cars sounds like hitting a wheely bin on the roadside. but i just dont care. after spending alot of time getting golds in the Nurburgring Merc challenges i was hooked, the physics are freaking awesome behind a wheel. you feel more bumps and bits than GT4. even the old 300 gullwing gets loose over the hills, while the SLS just sticks, and its just a joy to drive. i can see myself loosing alot of real life time flying around the ring in every car i can get my greedy little hands on. BTW the reason it feels like a GT game is because it is.....if it had been too different i would have been disappointed. and if you think forza looks better then you need a better TV and yes the trial around the top gear track in the Elise is a bit very annoying....im sure an Elise doesnt just over steer at any speed when you do anything...lol MORE GOLDS!!!! silver just wont do....

yay for someone saying it sounds good!!!! prologue already sounded a million times better than GT4 just had to turn the bass up to some unreasonable number to get it to sound right and give it enough volume to wake all the neighbours . the F2007...omg, i recon it sounds better than the newest F1 game does
