well said, man with the essay with regards to the G27....that is kinda stupid that they havent set it up. but from what ive found, no console game uses all 6 buttons on the wheels. theyre always just L and R buttons. PC games you can map them to whatever you like. MMMM dirt2.

just read up on it. seems the G27/25 does work, just the clutch is a little dicky. some report it doesnt engage/disengage till you press triangle. some just sound like they dont know how to drive and others seem to think its fine. hmmm. either way, ill be driving with paddles. and im pretty sure most paddle shift cars dont need a clutch anyways

wtf theyre not propperly supported? explain? and im sure it looks better than the PS2 of...what did you say? 7 yrs ago......might be ported cars etc. but its still a but load better. im happy to have a new GT game to play. even if it is half of the old one just prettied up. they did fall behind a bit. with the forza's coming out....and the new king of driving game developers (codemasters) making everything alot harder to compare. DIRT, grid, dirt2 and now the F1. dam theyre good at what they do (although i did expect F1 too look prettier than it does too)

im not going to cry if its not everything i expect. the interiors and other premium cars will come. im just happy its coming out.......although i cant pick mine up till saturday!!! and aslong as it drives well with the G27 ill be happy. gotta be better than driving the same cars around the same 4 tracks in prologue like we have been.

sound is alot. its alot easier to hear aswell as watch the tacho when you need to change gears up or down. but im not expecting alot GT never has been taht great for sound. although the GT acadamy did sound better. requires lots of volume and i find myself cranking the bass up alot on any GT game.

prob for the game install. alot of PS3 games are very big on the system. like GTA4 uses about 4.5gig anything is worth ditching an xpox to buy a PS3

looks good, and cheap, and real easy to make. would save alot of stuffing around with measurements like i did. ill stick with my alloy one tho. Sure its pretty well on the ground, and doesnt look as artsy. but its sturdy enough to use it to drag yourself out if need be. Easier to get out of than a bean bag

G25 isnt sold anymore, the second hand ones ive seen on Ebay have ended up sellin g for the same money as a G27.... 380 on ebay seems the cheapest, but also has the biggest postage $80 from what i recall. it seem the cheaper the product. the more the postage is. i bought my G27 from Umart in brissy. cost me $405. picked it up the next day. no waiting, and no overpriced postage. some of those driving rigs are pretty nice. but far too expensive for a few bits of thin metal tubing. and a friend has the VR one......very flimsey, not good for 650 bucks. and 2000 forget about it. mine cost me $250 for the bucket seat about 8 yrs ago all the rest was free!! (except the G27 obviously) there are other driving games other than GT5 you can use your steering wheel with. no need for it to collect dust

ty its actually measured off my R33 interior. well. it only took a few arvos to weld up. could use some refineing and was relatively cheap.....the only catch is the seat. I had it lying around and its an actual car recliner, so it weighs as much as the rest of it combined. a generic seat of a lighter cheaper description would make it much more affordable.

it will be good, and id say they will release it before Xmas. im sure alot of people are banking on it being a chrissy present. on another but entirely related note. MY RIG IS DONE!! only in its raw form. still needs grinding down of a few welds, some cable management and powdercoating. but for all intensive purposes, very strong, very comfy. and a whole lotta fun!! been testing Prologue and Shift all week. i also spent enough time infront of prologue to get my Fezza F1 car......hard to drive a 7 speed sequential F1 car with a 6 speed H pattern...lol

sounds like too much effort. ill buy my games ty......i only download crap movies ........and good ones i end up buying anyways if i do download them. call me old fashioned but i like the real thing. same goes for buying crap from iTunes etc......why pay for something you dont physicaly get?
