  1. ^^^thumbs up to this guy at least then you know it hasnt had ridiculous amounts of boost, power and all that wear and tear that goes with it. you get to do it yourself later. which is a whole lotta fun
  2. im with jonboy there. PS3 is an awesome streamer...and then the PC can be in another part of the room playing games or downloading shit, while you watch TV etc. best setup ever
  3. nah that was a worked beetle motor (belive it or not. with enough money a beetle can make power) rusty bug. was trying to make it do 9seconds right? free engines are the best
  4. the WRX/any subbie motor into beetle has been done many a time, boxers are sexy engines. and its a huge boost in power even with a standard engine. seen a few AWD Bugs online, but they are as much beetle as the V8 one thats posted here (not alot) what ive always wanted to do is rotary my bug. just a nice throaty 13B injected engine would get a 700kg car rocketing along nicely. otherwise a friend of mine and myself have been talking about an old 2 door XM-XP falcon with a full GTS25T drivetrain. old school cool, with vaguely new power and smoothness.
  5. there are alot around....but from my experience not too many good ones...but same will go for importing. as the others have said above, you'll be hard pressed finding a good one in japan too. at least here you can go look at it without flying to japan, or hoping the importer isnt lieing. and as others have said you cant compliance a car like you want straight from japan...so the money you will need to get it all removed and put back on to get it complianced is not worth it. look local. take your time. do it on holidays if your too busy (importing will take alot of time and work aswell). and dont just buy anything.
  6. id rather loose my friends than swap my PS3 for an Xpox
  7. nm, found it. as long as the tensioner is under its own spring tension, it will get itself right by turning the crank 2 whole turns
  8. anyone happen to know how tight the timing belt should be? cant find it anywhere
  9. hi guys and gals. ive been searching everywhere for how tight the timing belt should be, or how to check it (where to squeeze, and how many MM of deflection in it) any help or a link in the right direction would be great as im doing the timing belt, pump, etc etc tomorrow and cant find the answer anywhere

  21. lol, same questions over and over. get one regardless of if you think its stuffed or not, chances are it needs replacing. see Kudo's, cheapest and easiest way, they have them for most models. made a world of difference to my R33 S2
  22. lol, yeah i had to sweet talk mine a little and trade in a few birthdays but its well worth it. price aint too bad and they wont come down in a hurry. the G25 was still selling for 360 when they discontinued it. and the G27 can be had for less than 400. got mine at Umart $399. ordered it at midnight on tuesday, was thrashing it by 4pm wednesday there are a few cheaper on eGay. but the cheaper they get the more the postage is. all ends up around 400 anyways
