  1. it matter on how u fill up ur tank..... i wouldnt fill it all the way up otherwise fuel will come up the neck and sit right at that opening. going to the wrecker and finding a filler neck/trap door would be the easiest and cheapest part.... tank shouldnt need to be removed
  2. they shouldnt hav touched the gearbox oil as there is no need to wen doing a clutch (if done correctly anyway) i would tend to go mastercylinder if your definately not getting an external leak.... if ur slave cylinder was leaking it only has one seal would show up externally..... get ur mastercylinder done and put good fluid in there.... also replacing a syncro is no easy feet...... apart from getting ur hands on a manaul to show u how u need a hydraulic press with the right bits, and the right tools to get the gears off the shaft in order to change the syncro.... stick to the cheaper fix first...... try and get the clutch problem sorted
  3. seal your coil cover with abit of selastic or sealant..... dunno if it works in the long run but iv seen ppl put sponges under the cover to absorb water b4 it hit the coils/tube
  4. your mechanic is incorrect. the above statement is correct..... the pump is cooled by the fuel going thru it, so dont stress. its 10x more important to make sure u put good fuel in ur car then worrying bout the level
  5. if u do pull that bolt up remember to seal it with sume coolant safe engine sealant or ull make problems for yourself....
  6. as he said ^^^^^^^^ should be the quickest and cheapest way..... get under there and just look for broke rubber bushes/mounts, make sure things like the exhaust isnt too close to anything, make sure ur tools int he spare wheel comparment are secured, 90% of rear end noises iv seen r from loose tools and wheel parts
  7. dont all the places that do engineers certificates do that?? maybe ring a few workshops that do that, especially performance places.
  8. sounds dumb but how long is ur bleed valve hose and where is it plumbed in.....just make sure the hose is as short as possible and picks up pressure as close to the intake housing of the turbo as possible, otherwise ull be prone to higher boost spikes
  9. in answer to your running lean part of the Q. with that little bit more boost the standard computer should be able to compensate for the extra air flow by just pumping more fuel.... with any mods make sure u keep it balanced, if u start pumping more air in u gotta next look at how to get more fuel in there.
  10. yeah looking at your shopping list it seems you should be close to that power already. how much power did u get out of it? did he do a full tune on the car? how much boost were u running? and i would go the bigger injectors and u might even be suprised wot more u get
