  1. Congratulations to the team, great effort: My link
  2. I would keep the original rotors on, until they crack or warp, and just fit the car with good brake pads, and really good brake fluids. Your old discs are probably very good, they would have gone through the heat cycle many times and will be better then some brand single piece disc. I used original rotors with DS2500 and RBF600.
  3. whattta - double post, must have been a software glitch, ooops.
  4. Congrats guys - this is great news for all of you waiting for so long, you definitely will not miss the old rubber pedals, these ones absolutely rock.
  5. R.I.P Super Sic
  6. Well, I ended up getting a set of ATTKD's 2 piece rotors, DBA mucked me around a bit, took more then 3 weeks since I put an order in and they still couldn't tell me if and when I'll receive them so I cancelled the order...................but funny thing happened with my original rotors - they don't feel warped any more, even when I brake really hard they feel smooth just like before. hmmm, funny that ey, so I decided to leave them on the car for a while and I'll swap to those ATTKD's later - its not bad having a spare set of rotors on the bench. You guys reckon they'll just warp as soon as they get hot again or they may be ok for a while longer?
  7. I'm not really planning to get -7's in the next 12-18months. Reason why I'm going 3.5" is since xforce kit is 3.5" front pipe. Do you think that even with the suitable mid-muffler and large twin outlet rear muffler this exhaust will be much louder than the 3"?
  8. Yeah, Sandown is a bit of a shocker - I'm slow and even I thought its too bumpy, I can't imagine how you fast guys feel driving there. Maybe V8SC guys should kick up a stink so track owners are forced to fix other tracks too ..........while still maintaining current entry prices.........dreaming.
  9. Right now I'm thinking fitting that exhaust, then boost the stock turbos a bit more than the current 11psi, but not crazy high to see them break apart - I'm thinking 15psi. Then get the adjustable cams and get the ignition timing adjusted on the dyno. Since I already have K&N I think this should make my baby breathe much easier and go much better. I know its power will not be anywhere near most other GT-R's on this forum but I'm hoping for a 180-200kW at the wheels - if I'm lucky
  10. Could you post some pics of the turbos please.
  11. Its not modified at all, stock as except for K&N airfilter element - and yes I'm thinking if I ever get some -7's then I'd do the dumps, until then stockies remain.
  12. Thanks for all the advice fellas, I'll check before I do anything.
  13. Ho, have not done the dumps yet. Was just thinking of leaving them stock. Good idea/bad idea? Those front pipes are off the shelf in stainless, made by xforce, otherwise I'd get them in mild steel too. This exhaust place was saying that they can make them out of mild steel, but I was just worried about them getting the lengths correct. Should I worry about it or not?
  14. Cool, d'oh, should have checked the flow rate, yep.
  15. Guys, This is what I'm currently planning to get for my 33 gtr - any suggestions and advice, if something with this setup is NQR, I would appreciate. xforce front pipes - 2.5" into a 3.5", stainless 3.5" xforce cat, stainless 3.5" cat back with the middle muffler, mild steel xforce muffler 3.5" into twin 3" outlets, stainless Got a fairly reasonable quote so am considering getting it, middle section is mild steel mostly to save some $$$.
  16. Apparently the entire track will be resurfaced in December 2012 - January 2013 - so it will be shut for approximately 2 months. Following the V8SC 500kms and few other car events race track suffered some wear and tear, causing bumps in turn 1 and in major braking areas. Not sure when they resurfaced it last - I am guessing it was in 2002-2003. Can see a whole heap of PB's in 2013 if they get the bitumen mixture right - it would be shame if track loses its grippiness.
  17. How is the fit and finish of these part - immaculate or a bit so so?
  18. OK, but I was actually enquiring about the sellers location..........unless you have the same exhaust for sale too, or similar
  19. need 18's for that setup - otherwise I could run them in the future.
  20. Where are you located mate, which suburb?
  21. After some in good condition and for reasonable price. If anyone has any and are keen to offload them please PM me.
  22. Thanks for the advice John, considering the pace you do guess those ATTKD's are not bad at all then!!!
  23. Well, I'm basically using it to fill the empty space in the garage, but I do a track day or two. Hoping to do all the SAU-Vic rounds next year, so could see some use for the 5000's, otherwise I'd go for the 4000's.
  24. Hot car - good luck with the sale.
