  1. Followed a black 35 the other day toward Eastern - rear spoiler removed and only a GT-R badge on the boot - looked good.
  2. Just trying to understand how much am I losing, gaining, if I go with ATTKD instead of DBA 5000's - my original rotors are warped, and I might as well go the 2-piece route. ATTKD 2-piece ones are $499 (+shipping) on justjap site, presume for a set, and DBA's are quite a few $ more. Are DBA 5000's worth the extra money. Is it hard to find replacement parts for ATTKD's? DBA replacement parts are fairly easy to find. Any feedback would be great. Cheers
  3. That was only the last R34 made in Musashimurayama, production continued at Tochigi. PS: Bayside Blue
  4. As long as you stick to your promises
  5. Some blue, some silver, all immaculate, like new.

  13. Maybe 30 cars all up - but collection changes every now and then, so maybe in a few years time none of these cars will be there, hopefully replaced by some other cool Skylines
  14. R34 development cars Small correction regarding the matt black R33 used for development of the R34 - it is basically an aero test mule, for testing R34 diffusers and the rear spoiler. Back area was reinforced to simulate the R34 chassis behaviour, and it also uses R34 wheels. It was used for development testing during 1996-97 at the Tochigi and Hokkaido Nissan test facilities, so testing started well before R34 was launched. This car had a nickname "stealth", apparently due to its paint. R34 was the car used for testing at the Ring - it's nickname was also "Stealth" - I know, so imaginative. Development started in June 1995. It also says that the lap time achieved was not announced straight away but that the goal was to better lap R33 lap time by 10 seconds.
  15. The beginning..........
  16. Small but cool place to visit. KPGC10 KPGC110 R33 used as a development mule during the development of R34 - body was made shorter, basically an R34 chassis, running gear with R33 body on it. R34 used for the Ring testing. R34 V-Spec II - last car to be made at Musashimurayama Shinichiro Sakurai, Father of the Skyline, 1929-2011
  17. YOU ARE KIDDDDDDDIIIIIIIIIIIIING MEEEEE. Couldn't you post this 15mins earlier - seriously, seriously. Damnnnnnnnnnnn.
  18. You should spend some time updating the wiki info Iron Chef, this is what its there currently: Standard Cars = 3,964 V-Spec = 1,308 V-Spec UK = 100 V-Spec N1 = 45 V-Spec II = ? V-Spec II Nür = 750 V-Spec II N1 = 18 M-Spec = ? M-Spec Nür = 250 Total = 12,175
  19. Cool, thanks for that - now I'll write an email to the book author and bag him out.
  20. So they built 45 V-Spec N1's and 18 V-Spec II N1's - is that correct, or is it the other way around, since I have this book that says they actually made 45 V-Spec II N1's. Pics please
  21. Nice timing lol.
  22. .......and I survived Sandown... yeeeeeeeeee..... haaaaaaa. What a damned scary place Sandown is Ant, thank you for showing me around the track in the morning, it helped me heaps Guy, nice to meet you - that R34 looked like a rocket. About my track experience: I'm sort of happy-ish with my 1:30.6 lap - guess I got my Sandown PB too Was really hoping for a sub 1:30 lap but my brake rotors had some different ideas half way through timed session #3, like to go all warped on me - oh well, they were original 109,000kms old rotors, and they already lasted me a day at PI so I really can't complain too much - I already have some slotted DBA 5000's on order. Daniel, awesome looking 34 - mod list ey, well a new fuel cap is #2 on the mod list hehehe - since I was leaking fuel in the left handers, and #3 on the list is an oil cooler - I hated looking at that oil temp gauge halfway thru my sessions. Congrats to all on their PB's - it was a great day for it
  23. 29 entries already - this one's getting full quickly.
  24. Faaark - that looked like a damned fast forward, scary stuff .
