  1. I also came across a car that is not using the original BCNR33 number, instead its number listed on the rego papers starts with 6M91mport - so thanks to this thread I'm more relaxed now - car was complied in ACT.
  2. ...
  3. So you are repairing the JDM's, cars without warranty?
  4. Hmmm, am I the only one confused about this particular post - it says the author is Horsey, but its just weird, sounds like someone else is posting it, like that other dude Kujotk is posting it - is this the same person?

    2011 Price

Very reasonable pricing - any news on the optional Recaro seats and their cost, or will ADM's all come with Recaro's as standard fit?
  6. Those two colours listed are NEW added colours - I'm pretty sure it will also come in white,GMG, red, silver etc.

    2011 Price

"our dollar is stronger to the green back not the yen..." Maybe, but even if you reckon it stayed the same, JPY vs AUD, where does the extra 3K come. I know 3K is not much, but seriously there are no excuses for the increase. Australians customers always get shafted and that's a fact, GT-R also didn't go down when the tariff got reduced either.
  8. Silver in Noojee Silver on Eastern Freeway going toward a Eastlink tunnels Red on Lygon St Black in Port Melbourne Titanium on Kings way Titanium in Ringwood Black on Centerbury Rd Bayswater Titanium with personalised rego GGRRTT or something like that on Canterbury Rd Vermont Various motoring media report that 260 were sold in 2009, and another 60-70 in 2010 so far, not sure how many JDM's are floating around, but I'm guessing not many.

    2011 Price

184K in WA 187K in NSW. hmmm, I reckon you could do better in NSW with some more robust negotiations, WA is the most expensive state when it comes to new car prices, so 184vs187 makes no sense. 5K price increase, when Japan had a 2K increase and our dollar is stronger, is still bit tight, shame on you Nissan Aust ..........but its the bang-for-buck regardless.

    2011 Price

Awesome - considering they went up by 2K in Japan and AUD is strong as this is a great news. When is your delivery?
  11. Faster in red!!!
  12. Looking good.
  13. What's "so low" about $105,000 +SD for an 18month old car with 44,000kms on the odo, that originally cost $165,000 on the road - it seems spot on. How much would you pay for it mate, 155K hehehe. Owner clearly wanted it sold, he wasn't keen leaving it on carsales for 12months like some of the people advertising their cars on carsales.
  14. Gone - congrats to the new owner.
  15. For sure, just look at the Japan prices for the Nur and compared to R35's you'll see that Nur will be the future classic...................damn, I knew it.
  16. Completely agree - all the ones listed for 140K or so are simply not selling, but I know of at least 3 that sold for mid 120K with 10,000kms or around there, so this price is pretty spot on for a person that wants to sell. Rego says it expires in March 2011 - but I thought the early ones were only delivered in May 2009 - could it be possible this is one of the early Nissan Aust cars. Regardless, 44,000kms in 18months lets say is a lot, but not excessive - its only around 570kms per week, so its just your regualrly driven daily driver. Depreciation from 162-165K to 105K is also pretty normal. Shame its not silver or gunmetal.

    Adm For 109k

Just saw this on the net - Guess higher kms bring the price below the market value. If someone is after a black one, here you go, looks nice and clean, and stock. Black 09 ADM for 109K
  18. I completely agree - they are still mega bulky and mega heavy. What the GT-R should come with is something like a GT3's seats, carbonfibre backed ones, or something like what RX-7 RZ had too. Maybe they'll offer SpecV's seats as an option, but I'm sure a great pair of aftermarket seats would still be a value for money. It's slightly disappointing when cars like a little Renault RS250 Cup have more appealing seats then the GT-R.
  19. Here is the comparison between the outgoing R35.1 and the new R35.2 seats(I presume this will be called Series II officially) - side bolsters on the Recaro's are clearly larger. PS: apparently in the UK they will also be getting the so called Black edition as an only variant available, and they will have an option to select these Recaro's as a no-cost option, or they can stick with the normal updated seats that actually have the suede inserts. Let's wait and see what Nissan Aust decides to bring here.
  20. This is it!!!!! Apparently it will be a standard seat in the Oz bound model.
  21. Basing my prediction on the current R34 GT-R prices, that bottomed out at around 45-50K for an 11 year old ones, I can with almost 100% confidence state that the R35 GT-R's in a decent condition will never cost anything less than 75K, even in 10 years time. People hoping for a huge price crash are forgetting that these cars are only 18months old right now - they will never be affordable to people that struggle to buy cars like STI's or EVO's these days.
  22. Hmmm - Audi RS5 is 189K in Vic, I'd find R35.2 GT-R priced at 195K on the road very highly priced.
  23. I can say - NO. Unless you never follow business news and similar shows you may have missed that UK is in the doldrums, GBP is weak, while we are flying above the rest and AUD is very strong. Expect no or minor pricing change.
  24. In yesterdays carsguide Nissan Aust boss/manager stated the price will be "aligned" with the current models premium price and that they'll offer only a single model based on EU's GT-R Black edition, he doesn't expect any price decreases etc etc since he reckons AUD-Yen exchange rate is pretty much on par as it was 12 months ago. There was a mention of 162,800 plus ORC - discountnewcars lists the current model at the following, see attached image, and it is known that the price for a 2012 has gone up by approx $2,000 in Japan, so worst case scenario I'd expect is a very very low 180K driveaway.
  25. If you refer to carsales you can see car advertised for 129K that hasn'tsold for 2 months now, and others for 139K are also just sitting there for a long time, lets not even talk about others in the 150's - they have been there for 3-4-6months and clearly owners are not interested in selling - lets say DBA costs 200K on the road - do you really think this will help move these used CBA's? Price in Japan has gone up by $2,000 for our premium model - so I would be very surprised if price here raises by $20,000. What's a driveaway price now for CBA's - 178-180-182K - I'd guess DBA will probably cost the same, considering strong AUD, if not less.
