  1. Lot of interest, lot of interest, and people have been asking me for more pics - so here is one of the interior, one of the broken engine (with piping and the radiator removed) and one of the underside. Please understand that car is being sold completely stock.
  2. It does not run but if you bring a trailer with a winch or a tow truck it should be very easy to load it up.
  3. For sale is a non-running early 1997, series II BCNR33 GT-R V-Spec. Perfect for a mechanic or for somebody willing to start a new project. Engine suffered a failure in the #1 cylinder, causing block damage and also #1 turbo damage - I am not sure what it will need to get it running, but it would have to be a full rebuilt or a 2nd hand motor. I bought this car 18 months ago when it had 102,000. Took great care of it, but unfortunately .........shit happens. Body is perfect - this car's chassis is in a great condition, just needs a motor Chassis has travelled 118,000kms. Wheels are standard 17x9 +30 with 3,000km old Dunlop Direzza's Z1 Star Spec tyres. Stereo is Pioneer MVH8300BT. Speakers are Pioneers 6.5" TS-A1604C splits Interior is perfect. Comes with R34 V-Spec II pedals. Gearbox is in a perfect condition - recently serviced with Motul oils. Diff has also been serviced with Motul oils. Fluids in transfer case have also been changed. Brakes are standard Brembo's with Ferodo DS2500 pads that have recently been serviced with RBF 600 fluids. I'd love to be able to spend time and money and get this great car running again but I'm just not in the position to do that so here it is. Location: Melbourne Price: $13,000.
  4. Bit of an update on my engine. Looks like #1 piston smashed into the spark plug. Sparkplug is broken in half...bottom part is missing, broken off. When I shine a light into the #1 bore I can see a conrod which is not quite right. Then looks like all those loose parts found their way into the turbos causing the smoke screen. So yeah. That is the story.

  6. What a bumma ey, but such is motorsport. Thanks for all the kind words fellas and thanks to Jack I'm home. Still no idea how badly the engine damage is but I'm pretty sure it will be more expensive than a big mac meal.. PS:and I didnt even get my fastest lap timed due to dorian not working...double bumma.
  7. DS2500's sold Rotors are off the market. RSM still available. pm me if interested.
  8. my count shows at least 4 of us in the STD AWD...
  9. How much you guys gonna charge me to store my camping chair and a backpack in one of the garages :-)
  10. On my RSM top speed shown was 236km/h.It didnt feel too fast so maybe genuine around 220ish.
  11. good to see more than 2 cars in the std awd class. hoping for a dry day though.
  12. Bump Brand new, still in the box - front DS2500's - $180 firm. Pick-up only. Melbourne CBD or Ringwood area - PM if interested.
  13. But I'd rather choose a car in great condition with no log books, then a tired looking one with log books and odo wound back.
  14. been using DS2500'S for around 5,000kms now, including 3 trackdays. still look brand new. no fade whatsoever and as much i can tell they are very rotor friendly.i have a spare brand new set for sale if anyones keen.
  15. I got a set ordered through matcraft in WA I think - they look great, with GT-R logos. this is the email I used: ashlee@matcraft.com.au Got a grey set with no heelpad - 176 shipped. Really happy. They even stamped them with the proper R33 GT-R logo not just one logo for all series.
  16. Its much less friendlier to the rotors though.
  17. Mate, it makes no difference if its your 1st or 100th. I have done 30+ trackdays with my bike at PI and I still get the shits every morning before the 1st session. Good level of nervousness makes your reflexes faster
  18. Sandown is pretty good track - PI is awesome but just so damned fast. It would be good to have another great SAU turnout.
  19. Are there any plans with SAU running 2013 championship with some other club........more professional club than WRX. Last year I experienced cancellation of an entire session because some muppet ignored the flag, cancellation of an entire passenger session because some other moron spun around - and they send EVERYONE home - BS. Punish the individual I say - black flag is there for a reason. Now this time i'm hearing of all the issue with noise and oil on the track. My expereince with AROCA - longer sessions, slicker change-over between the groups, and a definitely more friendly atmosphere - can't SAU Vic tie up with some club like that instead with WRX guys that sometimes just come up as spoilt brats doing us all a favour for holding a day. Just a thought, for commitee to consider. If its more professional we'll end up with more SAU guys on board.
  20. Completely agree Ant - its craziness, especially at PI - who the hell is gonna complain, penguins.............
  21. Bump Brand new, still in the box - front DS2500's - $180 firm. Pick-up only. Melbourne CBD or Ringwood area - PM if interested.
  22. Trackdays are a drug 1:39.7769 - DAMN
  23. That is so damned expensive - with bike trackdays you can fit 4 bikes in a garage and its $10 per bike, plus everyone uses tyre warmers, uses their electricity too.
  24. I'm spewing I can't make it...damn. Have fun all - have fun dropping your PB's.
