  1. I would reconsider the v8. Lots of fabrication and toyota manual gearboxs are expensive. I think its illegal. Not allowed to double the capacity when doing engine conversion.
  2. Are just as reliable as a piston engine when stock or modded correctly. They are an old car so if restored/rebuilt or looked after should be fine. I wouldnt want one as a daily, too good. Maybe a rx7 series 3

  4. Hey ppl. Happy new owner of a r34 manual 4 door with 70 000km. So far have changed pads to bendix, oil change with 10-40w penrite fully synthetic and bosch filter. Getting a power run Friday, wondering what it should make. I use mobile 8000. With sump and filter they should take 5 litres of oil? What oil pressure should they sit on (factory gauge)? Mine is just below 4 when driving. and bit over when boosting. Also oil temp seem to be on 92 when fully warmed after 12 mins or so. Are these figures normal? Any noobie hints and tips with making the car last as a non thrashed daily?
