hey all thought id post up my ceffy most of you would know it as bangers old ceffy when it looked this then it turned camo but ive only found an old picture when it was a roller and covered in dust now it looks like this ENGINE WISE its an sr20 with: power fc nismo 740cc injectors s15bb turbo z32 afm putting out a MASSIVE 250rwhp SUSPENSION: S13 coilover TEIN fronts Jic rears r32 5 stud conversion slotted rottors on rear Adjustable everything (castor rods toe arms) whitline swaybars front drift pineapples nolathene bushes solid mounted rear subframe DRIVELINE: running an sr20 box orc 409 button clutch nismo 2-way diff custom driveshaft INTERIOR: R34 gtt front seats 6 point bolt in cage apexi multi checker blitz boost gauge nismo gear knob momo race steering wheel EXTERIOR: Uras kit (pretty sure least front bar is anyway) r34 gtt wheel powder coated black 20mm bolt on spacers up front series 2/3 tailights s13 nismo style grill after a fair bit of this unfortunatly led to this FUTURE PLANS: RB26 conversion with high mount single lumpy sticks and oil pump aiming for 400-450rwhp with a low rev limiter as ceff will be used for drifting. going to repaint it thinking blue will have a pink engine bay want some te37s as they look bomb new 2 way this ones clunky as f**k and near on 3 years old if not more new coilys main plan is getting it reregistred with 26 and suspension allready have permit for cage. yea thats my ceff should be picking 26 up within a week. cheers for looking Keith

Also on a side note Jason or nic or anyone other main guys do any of you have a complete set of stock suspension (all arms and rods etc) that i can borrow or buy. I don't wanna have to chase around s13 gear much rather grab full set cheers

Yea that one is connected and when you unplug it and block it, it lowers the idle and then hunts. That's the line that needs replacing and the sensor it goes too. I'll explain it tomorrow in depth. I really shouldn't be on here at 4am when I'm tired. I've tried explaining it twice now it's not hard

It's the hose that goes to the aac valve there's a tee piece in it. The other line goes to the sensor. Check that hose and that sensor and the wiring that goes to the hose. Hope this makes sense at is 410 am and I'm a little drunk

thanks man youve rekindled the idea, i dont understand how it can be lazy? i mean listen to it!! its something i want to do but trying to work out cost over practicality, my cefiros in a holding yard for next 28 days now anyway so. i have some thinking to do

yea sounds about right vaguely remember it having a 90 degree bend on it. anways thats what i got told the problem was and passed it on to the new owner. martin. i even told tom i could source the part for him if he need be. but if you take a photo of it and go to any jap shop they can take it off another motor

yes i understand this is my car. did he replace the hose and sensor i told him to replace in the first place? which i told him was causing the problem? its got nothing to do with the aac valve. theres a thickish hose that runs under the plenum which is disconnected and blocked and when connected it causes hunting and shit. the hose goes to a sensor as far as ive been told replace the hose and sensor and it will sort it out. aac valve then may need fiddling with after thats rectified first

I've actually never been pulled over in the cefiro. I got the licky going thru a booze bus. I even got followed by mr plod last night whilst I was driving the car home. Ah yes the general lee. I remember that one now. Rowan I honestly don't see how this can be an expensive mindless conversion. I could probably do it for the same price as you could by converting yours to a built rb25 and manual conversion and mine would probably be the only one in the world. Yes it would probably take twice the time but building a car doesn't take over night. Nic u would know that how long has yours taken now? It's been a fair while toffy do you know of anyway to get in contact with the guys in tassie? As I have been working FIFO on the west coast and will be doing my last stint shortly. Surely the hardest thing would be making it fit by making up engine mounts and massaging the trans tunnel with mr hammer and shifter clearance. Fuel system is easy as can use the system already in the car. Ecu takes car of it self by using standard ls computer. I'd have to make up some headers and exhaust intake is easy I could even probably use my s14 radiator. I really can't see the conversion being that difficult the legality of it though that would be a different story. But if I go to my engineer from day one and tell him my plans and have him working with me the whole way anything can be engineered. I'll be having a chat to my uncle tomorrow about the conversion Thank you all for your input I've never seen so many cefiro section post's in one day lol

well the car is currently unlicenced but i will relicence it i want it to be a tough street car that i can go drifting in and take to the drags with maybe the odd skidpan event so really in general a really different all round street car hence the part mild ls1

hi all i went to the drags last night left extremly dissapointed could only muster a measly 14.5 with a slipping clutch so to the point i wanna do something different and the sr20 in the cefiro just isnt different enough so i've been thinking my uncle who im on very good terms with owns a rather reputable performance workshop that has great knowledge of everything ls based with the ability to source very cheap parts what are your opinions of putting a mildly worked ls1 into my cefiro? after reading a few things from yankee land about ls1's into silvias and the like it doesnt seem like that hard a deal. but there silvias does anyone know of any ls conversions into skyline/silvias with any links? i only know of that autosound turboed r34 looking forward to your thoughts/suggestions/critisicm Cheers Keith

Hey sorry for late reply I'm currently in tassie for work atm. When i get back I'll sort out some dates and with some magic hopefully a permit so I can drive my ceffy as mine is now unregoed with plates being handed in soon unless I like completly strip Ceffy and rebuild back to stock lol. Yes someone buy rowans. My mate was but unfortunatly she's a bit to straight and well looked after to become a drift bus. I'll keep youse all updated. Really can't wait Specially when we have hands up for a photographer

all it will do is cause is over fuelling on changes. Some times enough to try and stall when puttering around shops tho. My Ceffy has a wicked dose I love hard intake pipes with no bov. Bovs are gay leave them to rice boys with there shopping list. Vls are by far the dose kings though. Mine fluttered hard!

Who cares If someone built my car it's a cefiro good luck findin a stock one and I'd hardly call it built when it's got a 250 horse sr20 coilovers and a bodykit that just manages to chirp 3rd. Ha yep that's it I just spend hours cruising from lights to lights hoping to race standard skylines I was honestly to busy perving on ur ex missus. But seriously who cares if she has chrome wheels.
