    Job And Facebook

if you can't face of consequences of your comments, NEVER post them online. pics, comments never go away , might not hurt you tomorrow but one day will come back to haunt you. also, it might be a wise idea to restrict your facebook settings, only close friends should be able to read your status, view wall posts ect. this is why i don't friend people from work (plus don't know them that well) and un-tag all pictures that would be comprising, ie, when im wasted im studying an IT based course, just covered a subject that included problems like this.

    E10 Fuel

cuz skylines are tuned for 98octane. if you are running e10 with 95 octane, than power is going to be lost because of a poorer grade of fuel. with E85 read below.
  4. So, i nearly have enough money saved up to purchase my first car however, finding a decent car is harder then i planned considering i don't have that much to spend. anyways, while i love rb25s, i don't wish to purchase a R33 because of it's size and weight. on the other hand, i'd rather an engine with some low down torque thus ruling out the rb20 in the R32s. so, would i legally be able to drive a r32 with a rb25 conversion? please note, i only have to follow the 125kw/tonne rule, got my license before the turbo bans (luckily). if not, i'd probably go back to looking at s14s.
  5. a friend just bought a subaru liberty (2001, 2.5L engine, manual, ~140,000kms) for $12k. Fuel efficiency is decent if talking it easy but the best bit about is it's handling and with AWD, it grips quite well but the suspension is still conformable for a daily. plus, its no snail like most small cars, so can be a bit of fun at least compared to new corollas ect. haven't been in many other cars that i would recommend buying for a daily ^a friend owns an old hyundai excel, after driving it, i was happy im stuck with a VN.
  6. in victoria, drive an import, expect to be pulled over more often then the average car.

    E10 Fuel

aren't you supposed to only use 98 octane or greater in turbo cars? a lot of people i know refuse to run anything but BP ultimate.
  8. not sure what your car looks like but if it draws attention from the average person, than that's a start. change the car to looks more stock like, have an exhaust closer to the 90db limit, have a pumped back BOV ect. other than those ideas, you are outta luck unless you move suburbs or change the areas you drive through.
  9. according to a previous post, modifying the stock air box is considered an intake mod.
  10. while still only a passenger, still was mad fun. a bit hot but nothing that would stop be from coming back. never thought i would push start a R34 GTR and johns intercooler piping yet again (silver R33 that stopped ) but luckily that was fixed. was good fun in the cars and talking to some new people. should be there for the next deca, probably wont be till the 2nd deca next year that i'll enter. oh yeh, that racing wrx was hot
  11. realistically, how much do you want for it? that ll give people looking at the ad some idea. 10,000? 15,000?
  12. ill consider this with more detailed information on the car? engine pics? kms on car? receipts that prove engine kms? possible problems? melbourne right?
  13. never switch badges of any car. changing the look of the car doesn't change the car. and if you go past looks onto the engine ect, why bother, just save up for the GTR.
  14. that's a shit price. if the engine is fine and in good condition, should be around $2k alone. gearbox $500-$1k. rolling shell (if chassis is straight) maybe $1k-$2k. wreckers always give shit prices. you car isn't a total loss just yet. (prices do depend on the condition and how many kms the car has done)
  15. i was the passenger in the type x. good fun but could have had more driving involved and less eating time. and lols at the kookaburra.
  16. ill be there
  17. well, im no red neck. ill be uploading pics soon.
  18. probably helps knowing where the car is located.
  19. don't have time to read the whole thread but the cop on NS said while a person doesn't have to open the bonnet of the car, he could just require you to do a road worthy check right on the spot or 9am the next morning at a place of his preference. So, probably better to open the bonnet.
  20. while only a passenger ( in the 180sx typeX) it was a good cruise, an enjoyable day and always good to meet a few new people. however, cant be a cruise without something eventful happening and I was surprised that the rear part of the wing on the silver R34 GTR actually came off. Along with the long trip and wind, we caused a little pit stop to remove apart of the under tray i think. not sure, i wasn't the one cutting it off to all the people that had trouble climbing the hill, jezz, what do you guys do all day? Some people need to go for a run once in a while haha. ill post up some pictures later and i cant wait for the next cruise. give it 6months and ill have a car to drive, not think my parents VN cuts it
  21. legally in vic im quite sure you have to have a metal bonnet, don't think fibreglass is allowed however unlikely they would notice.
  22. damn, that's a deep cut. hope everything works fine after all the surgery. top job on the bonnet.
  23. dude thats amazing. words cant describe the feeling, maybe this pic can.
  24. definitely following this, mad build.
