  1. I just love the fact that the coppers who followed me from Karrinyup -> Challenge, overtook me at Hale road and pulled over those guys in the commodore. It's a skyline cruise idiot, gtfo with your Holden Apart from that was a pretty good cruise, better than antilag on friday night, but then again, that's not hard.
  2. Definately interested in an AHG day or 10 ........... Would love to get out there and learn the capabilities of my car in a safe environment. Barbagallo sounds win and skidpan day sounds awesome. I'll keep checking back to see the progress, cost and what not and if anyone becomes of it I am definately in. -Chris
  3. Guys, I don't think you have anything to worry about tonight. Was on an impromtu antilag cruise last night and one of the boys got pulled over by the boys-in-blue. They had a chat to him about car crushings, lectured him on speeding, complimented him on his car then sent him on his merry. Cops are on strike this weekend and are thus refusing to invoke their right to inspect cars for defects and so forth. Not only that but they are also parking their cars IN FRONT of multinova's with their lights on to "check the welfare" of the multinova operator. So, suffice to say, I don't think that anyone has ANYTHING to worry about tonight unless they are going to be complete tools. Heck, last night even had a chaser dragging off a commodore, cop car a few cars back and didn't do a thing. Stupidity still reigns, but the cops aren't doing anything about it at the moment. Don't stick out like a sore thumb and you won't get hammered. See ya'll at the meet tonight -Chris
  4. I had an issue with me old VL many years ago, RB30 motor of course, VERY similar sort of issues, ended up being a piston issue.
  5. haha cheers mate. No, I've been wanting a skyline R32 GTR for about 10 years now, just I never saw myself in a position to go out and buy one. Wasn't financial or anything, was practicality. I've always owned the commodores because I'm a Holden faithful, but also because my wife and I weren't sure on when we were going to end up with kiddies. We've established a 5 year plan and she has said that as long as I end up with a bigger car later on down the track, she's all for me having a skyline now hehe. I've driven a few skylines and silvia's in my time aswel, but always loved the skylines. -Chris
  6. They falling off that quickly already???? j/k 4x4 + car + tree = fail
  7. Check your airflow meters to make sure they are working? Also is it backfiring?
  8. haha! That's the same thought I had when my commodore was written off 2 weeks ago....... **shakes fist at bus drivers running red lights**
  9. Hey guys, Formerly of the Holden persuasion, was always fond of my Lion badge. Started out many many years ago with a VL and then progressed to a VS S2 Spak ute and then just recently into a VZ SV6. However I ALWAYS had a soft spot for skylines .... and now that I am taking ownership of one later this week... it's about damn time. I was originally planning on keeping the VZ Sv6 and getting a skyline as a weekend car but I have had to expedite plans as I was involved in a car accident on 14th may on west coast highway. I was turning right onto Hale road, was waiting for traffic southbound to stop, left hand lane had stopped, but right hand lane hadn't, a station wagon ran a late yellow and I saw him so I waited. Had another look up the road and a transperth bus was about 50 meters back and looked to be slowing ... how wrong I was. I moved into the intersection to cross over onto Hale, and the bus came through the red light and took me out. I walked away from the crash somehow, my car is a COMPLETE write off however. Fortunately the other guy was at fault and the WA Police have as such issued the guy with an infringement for failing to stop for a red light and insurance has paid out as I am not at fault. And so here I am, thankful to be alive and almost greatful for the outcome ... I'm finally getting a skyline Apart from that, easy going, married, house, dog etc. I'm a network engineer by trade and work for an IT firm in Osborne Park contracting out to corporations and private businesses for Microsoft, Novell, VMWare and other support/solutions/consulting. Any further info drop me a line, other than that, I'm usually available on chris_g_morgan@hotmail.com when I am in front of a PC. Take it easy and look forward to meeting you fellas soon... (with any luck this saturday...? car delivery depending...). I've posted specs of the car I am taking delivery of soon in the "members ride's" section, no pics yet, coming soon. -Chris
  10. Unless of course the buyer is a car dealer and you're hiding something from them in which case don't let em drive it at all ......... I'm with the previous posts, set the ground rules early so as they know what to expect. Course you have to drive it how you feel comfortable driving it and how you would be driving it, sensibly though. If you want a car for burnouts and drags so forth, that's stuff you'd going to have to find out of ANY car in your own time. It'd be like going to HSV saying "mind if I take that there clubby to the track and launching it a few times down a quater before I make up my mind.....?" Hells no.
  11. Man, you could practically eat out of that engine bay it's so clean. When rooting around in your engine bay, you will bleed no matter what, you don't even have to be doing anything major, and you will still bleed. And when you do, you usually won't notice it until you start bleeding on things you shouldn't ............ Fkn RB30's in VL's **shakes fist**
  12. Havn't read a lot of the posts, but usually when an indicater starts flashing too fast, usually means the globe is on it's way out. -Chris
  13. Thanks for the PM mate. However I am not willing to commit to a car I have not seen or driven myself. Appreciate the offer however, best of luck
  14. 230rwkw R34 for $21500 and no buyers? my god. Dude, why the hell aren't you in WA when I need ya? hehe Best of luck.
  15. Wondering, does anyone know what the cost would be on transport interstate to Perth? Just had my VZ SV6 written off by a transperth bus running a red light on thursday and looking for a new car...
  16. hmm, pics please? free bump too sort of, I'm interested but I am in Perth.
