I here what your saying X-trail, sounds very plausible. Best way to combat it is if you are coming completely off throttle in such a low gear, clutch in a little and problem solved. Because you are then no longer engaging the driveline

You just answered your own comment there, your aristo (read barge) is so bloody heavy it NEEDS stiff suspension to eliminate all the commodore like bodyroll. As for the lurching, what sort of clutch do you have? How much play do you have with your release point etc? Might just want to give it a few move revs before you engage the clutch. Your suspension doesn't have anything to do with how you're using the clutch

AFAIK dude you can get a day permit to drive the car on the road, provided you are going to and from where you say you are. Not sure on the cost of it however.

Coming from a guy who owns a GTR and who has driven a few WRX's ? GTR all the way mate. Just the way a GTR drives vs a WRX, the fact that the GTR is still older, yet it is LIGHTYEARS ahead speaks for itself. WRX (unless STI?) is fixed in all wheel drive mode all the time, whereas the GTR torque splits. WRX's are prone to understeer whereas GTR's even though they are AWD, they still give you oversteer. Know which trait I would rather Also, RB26DETT motor... seriously **drool** Love it.

Could also be your CAS (crank angle sensor) check the plug and make sure it's on tight. If it's loose or the cable is not plugged in properly, will keep cranking over but won't fire.

If you were able to rego the car mate, you'd easily snap up $20k-$23k for it. Rego'd 32 GTR's in good condition still fetch a pretty penny.
