Thanks for that. So can I use standard rb30e oil pump or will it need to be turbo one. Will a microtech be ok or should I go for something with closed loop

I have a rb30 with a series 1 rb25det head vct. Have welded head and have done the internal vct feed. Blocked front oil restrictor and 1.5 restrictor in rear. I have a couple of questions. First of I'll be using the motor for torque more than power as it's in a 4wd. Will not be reved over 6 grand. What I need to no is what would be the best setup for this. I need turbo manifold, wiring loom and computer. What would people suggest for this setup. I have searched but as this is for a 4wd and not a drag car it is different

i need a standard ecu std afm plus plug for it need to try get the car running. my microtech is locked and wont let the engine run its only firing 5 cyls and i gotta send it away to be unlocked but need to get the car running its a series 1 R33 rb25det manual.

check all wiring to coils and wiring is ok now i believe its the michrotech cos its locked cannot do anything with it if i remember correctly i had the same issue with it 6 yrs ago when it locked up had to send it away to have it reset.

ok checked injector pulse wit noid light. not getting pulse from cyl 1. also checked spark plugs all were good except cyl 1. pulled plug out to see if getting spark and im not. not sure wat is goin on. any help would be great

ok so after putting jumper cables on it and rotating cas while cranking it fired ran for like 5 seconds then died, problem is it kept doin that its got bosch 040 and malpassi but issue is microtech is locked and dunno now if its fuel or the ecu causing it. gonna change fuel filter and do a fuel flow test to see if its kepping up fuel does any1 have any other suggestions or ides?

ok replaced cas. now i am getting spark. car still will not start. checked fuel, i am getting fuel up to the fuel rail but doesn;t seem like im getting fuel in the engine. really any help would be great. do i need to reset codes etc

thanks guys. i think it is the cas. tested it yesterday and seems to be stuffed. the problem i have now is i have had 2 motors and not sure wat this cas was of. when ordering one they say there is to different types and need the number off the cas. does anyone no if it matters which one i get

i have just put my r33 gtst back together after blowing up 6 years ago. anyway connected everything and tried to start it. car turns over but will not fire. doesn't even sound like it's goin to fire. i pulled a coil out and put a spark plug in it wound the car over and no spark. as soon as i stopped winding the car over it sparked. any ideas would be great. has microtech
