Exact same as R32. Universal sensor, but the plug is same as R32. If the plug isn't a direct fit, then the middle wire is signal, and the 2 outer wires are 12v for heating the sensor when cold (which you don't really need). As long as your loom is from a DE, DET or 25DE the plug should be direct fit. 20E only uses a single wire sensor. http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/ngk-ntk-lambda-sensor-oxygen-ntk-nissan-skyline-r32-gtst-gts4-gts25-rb20de-rb20det-rb25de-p-42.html

A31 Sunroon? How To Get It To Open Fully?
Nic_A31 replied to LRyder's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
OK I fixed mine today. It's not to do with the teeth/rail. Inside the motor housing, the motor itself powers more than one cog. One cog moves the rail back and forth, which is for the actual sunroof glass itself, the other cog leads to a bigger flywheel kind of thing, it's plastic, and has 3 staggered steps on it. Tangent to that is two switches, which are activated by a larger tooth on the plastic flywheel thingy. A third switch is activated by a flat section of one of those levels. Basically the three stoppers trigger the motor to pause. One is for the sunroof fully tilted up, one is if the sunroof sitting flush/sealed with the roof, and one is for the half way. For some reason mine was very badly out of sync, I tried to adjust the position so the stops were where they should've been but after about 4 tries I gave up, and removed the switches inside the motor housing. It goes up, down, and all the way back, the only drawback is it doesn't stop, at all, including flush with the roof, but that's pretty easy to work around. I spent most of today doing this, BUT I did drop the entire sunroof assembly down off the roof, which is both a pain in the ass, and time consuming. Everything got a good clean while it was down, which is a plus I guess. If you can't remove the sunroof motor from the entire assembly, I'd highly recommend that you take the plastic trims off the sunroof glass, unbolt the sunroof glass seperately, and then drop then sunroof frame down, that way it only weighs half a ton. -
So, I upgraded my stocker twig sway bar for something more MANLY!! We all know what kind of difference they make Oh and this rocked up from Japan. I was all excited about putting it on, except 2 problems presented themselves. First, being it's sheer size. I was hoping that it'd be a simple 3" cat back going by the pictures I saw when I bought it on impulse with no English translation available. It's got an ID of 80mm, and the size of the cannon itself is actually scary. It'd bottom out/scrape, and be f**ked within a couple of weeks. Second, it doesn't quiet fit. It was after all made in Japan, and is made to suit car using factory cat' convertor, which sits on very odd angle. Still keen to mount it up and run it, just to hear what it sounds like, but obviously not going to happen right away. Might put this onto that other Ceffy I apparently own. I

Remove those door bumpers like I did. You won't regret it. Your paint is in good enough condition to pull it off without a noticeable difference. Actually on that note, even on my horrible f**ked up paint, it isn't noticeable unless I point it out, or sometimes when it's dirty.

square plug or round ? -
I'll be taking off my 3" cat back exhaust today. The cannon is banged up a little and has a couple of scratches along the pipework, but she's all good. Located in WA though.

The tailshaft just depends on if its ABS or non ABS. R33 diffs can fit. The 5 bolt axles are a direct fit into the existing hubs. Most Cefiro's have a 4.36:1 ratio, so S13, diffs are the go. If you want to use another ratio, you'll need to get the speedo drive from the same vehicle and chuck that into your box, so your speedo stays in sync.

Gave the front bumper it's much delayed respray today. Same paint as what I used on the front panel. I rushed it a bit on the sides, so there's some runs around the cornering lights, I'll have to rub it back when it's dried and hardened, and go back over it. I've gotta respray that bottom lip area in black, or at least sand off the overspray Pretty happy with how it turned out though. Much neater. Now, to do the rear bumper,

Whats The Difference Between Series 1,2 And 3?
Nic_A31 replied to duurs's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Optional centre garnish. Applies to all 3 series of Cefiro. It's somewhat more common in Series 2 and 3. -
Dunno mate, I'll let someone else answer that. I don't know how those aftermarket oil pressure senders work. If you know the brand name and model, shouldn't take long to track down some wiring for it.
-
Oil cooler.. You mean sandwich plate... ? The oil filter goes onto that, and it bolts onto the block. I've got a standard one yes. RB20 or RB25 ? Is there a bolt in the block somewhere around there? Might have been plugged up. It's around 10 o'clock proximity to the oil filter. Might have to have a feel around for it.
-
Hmmm, that's aftermarket. You didn't say anything about aftermarket. Location of standard oil pressure sender switch. Plug exposed. Connector exposed. Standard RB20DET. Can't vouch for RB25DET but from memory they're the same.
-
Take some pics of yours, I'll go take some pics of mine.
-
Either oil, or knock sensor. EDIT: Just checked Oil pressure switch. Right next to your oil filter.
-
Why did you buy a new centre garnish? Sell me your old one. Preferably dirt cheap. They're pretty rare, so don't throw it out, lose it, destroy it, or sell it to a Mexican plumber. And good guess on picking the darker one. Series 2 = darker (matches the dark edges of the taillights) Series 3 = lighter, matches the lighter and narrower edges of the taillights)

Epic For-Sale Thread

Air con gone Thrust bearing gone Everything else still here. Final bump before I bin it. Come on guys, OFFERS! -
Looks like a satin finish during the day. I'm going to do both bumpers, maybe try fixing up that big chunk missing on the spare door that it copped during transit, and leave it all as is. I was set on getting a shop to spray paint it all properly, but considering how close that guard came out, and how well it turned out for a rattle can job, and that the car is a rust bucket, I might save myself the $1000++
