Sell me your front spoiler. Please.

Pretty much any brand of coilovers will do. Get a set suited to Street, with spring rates set around 8kg (front) and 6kg (rear). Most if not all coilovers come with adjustable damper, which also helps you out. Tein Super Streets HSD TT Series Etc I've got HSD TTs on my street Ceffy. $1580 to my door (WA) and definately no complaints from me, if my rims werent <10mm away from the coilovers, I'd set the damper down a bit softer. Have them on the hardest setting, it's quiet fun to drive, very little recoil. Would like to set it a bit softer to suit daily driving a bit more, but yeah, suspension will flex and rim rubs on coilovers and/or guards.

Awesome shot!

S13 suspension is fine front and back. Remember stock s13 suspension in a cefiro = lowered cefiro, quiet often too low

UPDATES: RB20 turbo finally gave up, was subject to a few hours of abuse and ended up doing oil seal on intake side. Liquid inside the pod, all over AFM, etc. Got my hands on RB25 turbo and had it in, 2 hours after I got it (all by myself ) Also got an R32 GTR FMIC ready to rock and roll. Cut and shut the reo bar off the Laurel halfcut, almost done And, to go with it, I got some FMIC pipework to suit, shipped over from SA. f**king lightweight, ported, and whoever welded that shit has more skills than Chuck Norris. 3" Catback exhaust, fitting this Saturday if all goes to plan. So I'll finally have some "JDM respect". R32 GTR Cradle on teh way from Japan, probably going onto other Cefiro but we'll see, haha. Also should have these on the way as well. Late R33 GTR Seats, w/ red stitching. Bulk pics to come.

Does that line up with the door cards as well ?

Try again for 2 mins and try another module. Also check the ground wires -

Sounds like ignition module. Let it idle for a minute or so? usually faulty modules overheat and cut out after 30+ seconds. -
Aaah k, the Autech improvements over the standard Nissan Cefiro is pretty minimal - better off to just modify any old RB20 yourself and get a tune. The only physical difference is the turbo and/or actuator. http://www.importconcern.ca/stock/100080/

No. Cefiro air con looks like an analog piece of shit, but there is no levers / cables etc. Cefiro stock air con is actually climate control. Take it out of the dash and have a look. And dunno wtf you smokers are on about Tested my unit twice against 2 different cars - works fine, still.
-
Not even the motor. Turbo and ECU is where it's at. Other Autech stuff Body kit (obviously) (plastic, not fibreglass) Interior (cream leather all round, black stripe up the middle/arm rest on the rear seats) Wheels Automatic transmission Exhaust is different, not sure how.

Question For Those Who Have Aftermarket Coilpacks
Nic_A31 replied to dewa32's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Yeah that's no problem. Chop the 32 plug off and wire into ceffy loom. Just match wires color for color. Thats how one of my Ceffies was running for a while. -
Question For Those Who Have Aftermarket Coilpacks

Afm plug is fine. N60 is a better Afm which the series 1 have. Best bet would be a new coilpack loom. The heat makes them brittle and breakdown, so a new loom will definately help and be less probs down the track. -
Everything except panels, some interior, headlights/taillights and windows. Laurel and Cefiro front doors trims (interior) can be swapped, rear doors cannot. Front and rear seats, dash, centre console etc all fit. Side skirts are swapable but front and rear bars (inc aftermarket body kits) are not.

Question For Those Who Have Aftermarket Coilpacks
Nic_A31 replied to dewa32's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
1991 is Series 2, so that's weird. Biggest give away. Is your AFM an R32 one (green label, J60) or square plug (purple label, N60) And yes, get an R32 module and the plug for the engine loom side, and wire that into your engine loom. Essentially, ECU Loom->R32 Plug->R32 Ignition Module->R32 Subloom->R32 Coilpacks. -
Question For Those Who Have Aftermarket Coilpacks
Nic_A31 replied to dewa32's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Series 1 Cefiro use a unique ignition loom (inc ignition module itself) Series 2 and 3 used the same loom as R32 Skylines. You can buy both types of loom for the Cefiro new via Nissan. S1 http://www.justjap.c...369&cat=&page=1 S2 onwards http://www.justjap.c...871&cat=&page=1 I recall splitfire not having a listing that matched S1 Cefiro, so you'd need to get an R32 ignition module??, R32 loom, and coilpacks suit R32. Quiet often, an R32 motor is chucked in, still using the Cefiro loom, plugs, ECU etc. That's how mine was anyway, when my coilpacks went it got a bit tricky - just wired up 32 plug to engine loom, and used complete R32 coilpack setup,. -
They're tuned differently and have a different turbo. They may have other bolt on differences, like different side mount intercooler? Buy a sales brochure off YahooJapan, that'd have all the info in there - they're written in Japanese but most information like power outputs and shit is written in English.

Nice work dude. Chop chop on those pics - keen to see

32 gts4 and gtr coilovers fit the AWDs. Gtst coilovers no good for fronts on rwd and awd completely different. That brown box is controller for brake warning light. When fluid is low or pressure is dropping under braking the handbrake light comes on. Thats how/why its linked to the BMC sensor plug. Plug for the BMC should be the same for all Nissan BMCs.

^^ No idea. Burnsie. Rear strut braces are a straight fit, some front braces for S13s don't go onto Cefiro's because S13 braces obviously accomodate for SRs and CAs, so sometimes thye won't clear the larger RB20 throttle body and BoV. It's a hit and miss. Best bet is a Cusco or some kind of 3 point brace that runs back and along the firewall, rather than straight from strut to strut.

Er no, as soon as Ceffy is fixed and sells, I'm still applying for army. Although, the thought of taking Ceffy (or Ceffies) with me is tempting - plenty of mates I could leave it here in Perth with until I finish training - IF I get in that all is.
-
^^ haha knock yourself out. For the record: C33 and A31 ARE interchangeable. Took one off my Laurel halfcut, it fits the Cefiro no drama's, just gotta cut out horizontal row in the big gap on the bumper to make it sit properly.
-
OUCH. Had anything installed recently like alarm/immob. ? Or is there one installed at all? Odd for it to melt down soo badly there of all places :\

Are stock front bar spoilers interchangeable with the Autech ones? Reason I ask, is I was looking on YahooJapan, and found this. http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n78165379 Which is much much cheaper, than this http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g75220973
