Which fuse is for ATTESTA in the AWD Models? is it one of the horizontally mounted fuses directly below the box ? Both of mine have two fuses in there, dunno what they do, and it also has two empty slots for fuses...

Found a solution for this. Use A31 brake lines, and on the caliper remove the 'oilve' flange. Pics here: http://wiki.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?t...3_Brake_Upgrade MUCH safer than shortening the banjo bolt, and the brake line is secure at the wall, on the coilover and at the caliper. NOW, no more excuses you lot, do your brake upgrades properly (and easily) this way.

^^ V mounting is also more efficient when you're going sideways

Surely the reo bar on GTRs is made of a stronger material... ? Mount it to the radiator support/bonnet release support....or get a more narrow intercooler and hang it from the bottom of the reo bar, intercoolers that big are overkill for Skylines, and even more pointless if you're going to run 1.5 metres of pipe back around the engine bay to the factory intake plenum, that amount of air flow just isnt needed unless you're running some 25psi monster (then who'd be asking the question on SAUWA...)
-
How do the GTR intercoolers mount then ? I've seen people mount them BEHIND the reo bar, onto that bonnet release mount, that works too.

Pro harness install ay...install dude must have some skills. Could be the timer itself. Got a multimeter ?

Fuel Pump Running With A Cut Wire
Nic_A31 replied to Nic_A31's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Thanks dude. Time to replace cradle I think, connections on the other wires look like they're about to go. I believe S13 is the go ? -
Wires cut open anywhere after the harness ? Where did you reground it to ? Doesnt need a handbrake wire, that's only to affect if the turbo timer keeps the car running when it cuts off (ie if handbrake isnt on (you stall the car) it'll shut off straight away, if handbrake is on (parked the car) it'll keep it running before shutting off).
-
This wire isnt connected, the pump is running as per usual. i opened the tank up tonight to see if remounting the pump could reduce a very loud whinning the apparently 33 GTR fuel pump makes. Assuming the pump was ran out dry hence the loud noise, as remounting made no difference. What does this wire do exactly, does anyone know? It's meant to connect to that capacitor looking thing right near it in the picture. Traces back to a yellow wire with a blue stripe. Aaaaand, what other cradles can I use? Cheers guys.

What Are These Beneath The Cefiro Dash?
Nic_A31 replied to huddy's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Swap dashes ? Since you're making a drifter and don't need a pretty one ... ? -
^ Obviously never been hoon lawed. They dont just take your car, they take you away as well, back to the shop for the fine. DD Is arrest on the spot (hoon laws = no cuffs) and taken away in any case. Perhaps it happened the other way around. Overtaking a cop car at 150 (in a 110 zone..less than 45 over the limit, doesnt come under hoon laws), gets a hefty fine, then caught for DD later (unlikely as almost ANY speeding fine = RBT anyway). MAYBE. Is also just as likely (if not MORE than likely) that all you sheep are getting fired up over PerthNow's latest fiction.

I just noticed...rear door handles removed. Super gay. Needs tint.

R32 cylinder is apparently the fix, alot of Silvia guys have had some luck using braided lines instead of upgrading the master cylinder.

Perfect

Guys leave him alone, I think he's got some real talent. Keep at it man. I think you should do a "duet" with this guy, might give you some exposure on the scene.

Antilag thread has all the answers about this topic. Amusing to see people get soo fired up over such a misleading article.
-
Yes...do a case study....go and do that, and when you find out what happens in that situation, get back to us all. These soo called "laser" guns arent exactly limited...they can zoom, and pick up vehicles from 400+ metres away. At 180, I'd assume they're operating in a 100 zone, plenty of time to block the vehicle, or prepare to chase after it. At 180, if the car didnt stop, I highly doubt any cop with his ninja reflexes and vision will be able to make out the number plates, vehicle make, model and any other details...assuming the car isnt stolen and/or fitted with fake/stolen number plates (who the f**k would do those kind of speeds with their own registered number plates, I don't know) Even if they missed the car they'd be calling it in rather than "do nothing", any police in that area would be onto it pretty quickly, you never know, they might even get the chopper onto your ass....

I can vouch for Nismo 2 way. Is quiet, but it's definately no daily driver. Hard locks up on uneven ground or sudden turning, will lock up in any case (a bit sifter, but occasionally locks up hard) on accel, decel, any kind of turning, and parking. Not too bad on the streets, reversing up my driveway is still a little tricky. Also stupidly difficult to control at low speeds in the wet if you're actually trying to keep some traction.

A31 Conversion, Legal Requirements Qld
Nic_A31 replied to VRdrift's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Hub itself, or the knuckle assembly? -
Cops don't even need to show you a reading on their handheld to issue a fine, and they can issue fines withouth a photo, with their partner present who acts as a witness. Even without their partner (off duty), cops can still issue arrests and shit.
-
Speed Camera locations are required to be published, as a notice, because they can't technically take your photo without your permission or notifying you that your picture MAY be taken in a certain area / time. Likewise, red light camera's are sign posted. Speed camera's are MEANT to have a sign before, saying "are you speeding?" (then camera, then sign "anywhere, anytime") Because handheld radars do not take pictures, they can be set up, anywhere, anytime...without notice or publication. They're totally random and unpredictable. The End.

Cefiro A31 1988
Nic_A31 replied to Nic_A31's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Thanks dude. Dunno how people manage to stuff it up...the holes are already pre drilled (atleast one for each pipe, if not all 4, depends on vehicle) and the circle is pressed into the panel. At the factory they just punched the hole out if it was a non-turbo, otherwise left it in place. -
Its funny how your passenger is holding up the finger in one picture...then holding on to the door like a little bitch in the next picture. The car looks nice by the way. Needs kit.
