  1. LINK = HERE http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-i...fold-studs.html
  2. Those are what you need, yes. I THINK I recall it being M10 x 1.25 ... but try and check that first. Manifold and turbo have a heatshield yes. I replaced all of mine, despite only one being broken, and luckily no others broke coming out. To get the studs in/out, I put two nuts on the end...put a ring spanner over one, and a socket over the other, turn both inwards in opposite directions (so the nuts wind towards each other and become tight), then wind the stud in/out, and undo the nuts. Make sense ? EDIT: Link showing what I mean in post below.
  3. Nissan still sell the bolts, I bought mine from JustJap, but any high tensile bolt should be fine. Suggestion for removing broken bolts, don't use the reverse thread type, use the box type. Refer here, to when I had to remove a stud snapped back inside the block in the tightest corner of the exhaust side of the engine (still in the bay), we found the reverse thread did nothing, but hammering in the square shaped one and turning it out with a vice grip did the job perfectly. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ne...removing+broken
  4. If I chuck those on I won't want to take them off. Gonna try and find some secondhand coilovers when I go hunting for some r32 brakes for it.
  5. Bitch please, they're like 15x15. I'm in need of coilovers, or some form of lowering the vehicle, before I go fitting flash rims.
  6. I think Dan should sell me his jap dishies, since they've been in his signature for soo long: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...59#entry3999759 haha. And they'd look sick on a white Ceffy
  7. One more pic, for good measure.
  8. So i got rid of my Maxima and replaced it with this bad boy. For the price it was going for, its condition and the options it has, I couldn't say no. Its an 89 model, RB20E Auto, 76xxx kms seem genuine. Panels are all good bar one (pending fix), the paint is shit especially on the bumpers and there's a few spots of rust. Runs mint though, has been looked after really well, the air con still works. Needed to pick myself up a nice car to cruise around in. Having a work car is awesome, but a manual hilux with radio only certainly never fits when you want to go for a drive late at night or on the weekend. Options include: Factory sunroof w/ shade + logo ABS (unusual for pre - xNA31s) Optional fabric interior (still pretty bleh, but better than standard) Extra bling lining down the doors. - - - - - - I don't care what you say - I like it
  9. The other one is a bit of a broad minded person on BoostCruising, and I think I've seen it on SAU somewhere as well. Might be back up on eBay as well.
  10. If you've got a cold air duct...drive through a puddle, then tell us if its still awesome
  11. Most of your permits you can get at the pits. You only need an engineer for anything that drastically changes the car, eg: power-to-weight ratio (engine swap, massive turbo(s)). Shit like pod filters, intercooler, front facing plenum the pits should be able to give you (unless you hack up your reo bar for the intercooler). Easier to just get permits and keep your stuff fitted and not worry about getting yellows later on. No point in getting all your gear off for the pits when you and they both know it'll go straight back on, thye'll just look a little harder for something to pick you for. Like raising your Skyline to legal height, and wondering why you don't pass, in this case: That's just silly....
  12. In other news: someone pick the car up,+ this http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=h...E%20LNA31%20MT5 Manual gearbox, clutch cylinders/lines, etc, and interior trim to make AWD Cefiro manual. Soo much win.
  13. My Apoligies. I just followed up my own shit here, NOT THE CAR I WAS THINKING OF. There is a black, mid-late model AWD, with same interior, in Queensland, that was for sale for 4K last time I saw it. Originally sold for like..2.5k, down from 6k, then went back up to 10k and went through a few owners, eventually back down to 4k again (is for sale right now actually). That's the one you want to avoid. Thats the one that's been through 500 cockhead owners. Sorry dude
  14. Shit....that's alot of spare room in the R32 (hadnt seen an engine pay pic that close before). That must drift like f**k.
  15. Dunno about the R32 chassis, but on the A31 it sits further back, so it gives better weight distribution/handling. Common swap in Japan for that reason, and makes rego+insurance cheaper. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/32...amp;hl=r32+gtst Recently sold. JWS in WA did the swap on that one.
  16. Its also a shame this thing has had 5 owners in the last 6 months and has received an absolute flogging by 3+ No offense dude, but if I didn't know any better about that particular car, or it actually had a better history, believe me, I'd be all over that like a fat kid on a jelly donut. somebody buy it and fix it.
  17. I highly doubt I'll get a group buy price. Since everyone who buys can choose which type of leather, which color, which stitching style + color, etc, each one will likely be different and so a group buy is out of the picture. If you buy a gear shift AND handbrake boot, you get a 35% discount. Around $65 + shipping (which is an A4 envelope). Thats about what you pay on eBay for China vinyl which is about 1/5th what this is (I'm talking from experience here). There's a big showcase thread, HERE Shows alot of examples of different materials and shit.
  18. not for this excersize. FAST breaks down individual sections, such as wiring (all independant), air con components, seats, dash (in sections), other interior, etc
  19. Don't cut the bar up man....it'll still be getting air flow, and plenty of it.....it doesnt need to be exposed/visible to be getting air through it, it'll be fine I say.
  20. i know you said be patient, buuut.... 0
  21. They only made 200 of those...pity to see it out of the car and blown
  22. Compliance item. I think 90 or 91 onwards it comes into effect. Sometimes, some earlier year models are fitted with them during compliance anyway.
  23. 1. - 2 Could possibly be the trigger for brake lights, or goes onto the full throttle sensor behind the pedal. 3 If this is close to the ECU side, might be a relay ? Looks like relay to me... 4 Must be for air con, now that you mention it. 5 - 6- Possibly for the speaker behind the air con vent, that goes off for lights being left on, door locks, etc. 7, 8 & 9 just leave connected, all those modules under the collumn work together to do alot if different shit. Just disconnect the speaker for speed, but judging by the amount of sound deadening (or lack of) and the cockpit buttons, I'd say you probably won;t be hearing it anyway. 10 TBC
  24. Whats up fella's? The leather boots around the gear shifter and handbrake lever, what can be used? The sticky said R32 ones can be used with "some modifying" but that doesnt sound too convincing. POST PICS OF WHAT YOU'VE FITTED ALSO hit up www.redlinegoods.com Hand crafted Italian leather, ohhh yeeeah....so there is no listing for A31 Cefiro, but I can send mine in as a sacrafice so they can be made, then you lot can get some as well, in whatever color/style/stitching etc you want. Basically, I want to know how many people would be interested in purchasing if I do this....if not enough people are in I won't bother, but if I get enough interest I'll give mine up to get them made up. I'm not trying to advertise, but I have purchased from these guys before and I cannot stress enough how good the quality is. It's a tad pricey, and shipping takes 10 days, but their stuff is seriously the bee's knee's...none of that eBay vinyl shit.
