Just wind them back up to legal height? Looking like a non-FullySikh spec Skyline for one day doesn't hurt.

Page 5 Diff- Model/Type? .. do i just leave that blank as the diff is still the stock one that came with the car? Leave blank as it's not being changed. Page 6 Chassis - Will the chassis or body or mounting be modified in anyway? .. should i put yes as the mounting brackets for the gearbox had to be changed? No, gearbox / engine mounts have their own section. This section applies to chassis and subframe modifications. page 8 Tryes front/rear -What is the manufactures original tyre size and profile, i put 205/55/r16 is this right? -what front tyre size and profile to be fitted to vehicle, i put 225/50/r16 ( as ive got r32 gtr rims on the car ) Wheel Rims front/rear (ive got r32 gtr rims so for this i did the following) -Will the wheel rims be changed, i put tick on Yes -will the wheel rim onset/offset be changed?, i put yes -What will the rim onset/offset be? can some one confirm that as im not to sure ? -Will the wheel rim width be changed from original? i put yes -Will the wheel rim diameter be changed? i said no -If the wheel is to be changed from original explain changes. I said rims fitted will be r32 GTR rims which are 8inch wide, is that right? -Modified wheel track________mm. i have no idea about this? -Original manufactures wheel track_______mm, Again have no idea? -Original manufactures Wheel rim width, I put 6.5 inch. Dunno about all the numbers - somebody else can answer those. Wheel track is distance from inside (or outside??) of two wheels. Hub to hub, basically. I beleive the GTR rims have less offset, which will increase track, you might need to jump through some hoops for that as well. "R32 GTR" doesn't mean alot to them, just explain you're fitting rims from a different release of the same vehicle.

How does Air Flow Meter affect only one cylinder ? If it was related to air flow correspondence and only on one cylinder, the fault would be between the ECU and fuel injection/ignition, not between AFM and ECU.
-
I heard if you add a 7" muffler back, HKS SSQV, and a giant wing, that WRXs lay down like, 2x the power of any GTR ....
-
My understanding was Z32 TT / R32 GTR / R33 GTS-T were the same 4 pot (front) / 2 pot (rear) setup. R32 is lighter even with the 25, so your power to weight ratio will be different - again. Ask an engineer all this kind of shit.
-
Just use the R33 brake setup dude. It comes down to the engineer declaring the car as having a safe power to weight ratio and correct brakes ... but it's easier to just use the R33 brakes now, rather than have to make yet another trip back there if it does get knocked back for having smaller rotors / smaller caliper. Might as well go slotted rotors now, makes engineer / pits / cops more friendly. EDIT: YES, he DOES need bigger rotors because he is increasing displacement.
-
yeah and it's not like slotted / vented makes any difference, or perhaps 2 piston vs 4 piston...no...no difference at all. Brake Booster? who even needs one...

Well what the local retards forgot is that while the 32 did come with a 26DETT...the GTR has different crossmember, suspension, and...big f**kin BRAKES. You need to first fill out the app to modify the vehicle (easy, just note in all sections that you're doing shit properly, especially the bigger brakes, no dodgey shortcuts, blah blah blah) and they'll pass you...they pass just about any application they get that isnt a backyard job. Next, find an engineer to write you up a certificate (list of these on their website, along with the application form)...since there's already quiet a few R32s running around with the RB25DET...this will be easy...and cheap, by now. Take it to the pits and you'll get a big list of permits for everything non factory. Not difficult, even when you do it properly and the non-retarded way.

Check between your hazard light switch and the alarm. Open wire somewhere will be the cause. The indicators are controlled from the hazard light switch (without it you have no indicators working).
-
LOL ... so... guess it isnt just a "change of engine number" like everyone said

^^ haha yeah all Nissan sedans do that. Having my Ceffy on blocks for soo long made me forget that it barely comes up to my chest when its on the ground on wheels. Adam, which state are you returning to? and may I ask approximately how much you'd be willing to let it go for? or PM me ? I might be interested in grabbing that and a VQ30DETT if the opportunity comes up.
-
Yeah, Phillipines, Malaysia, etc, those areas with LHD Cefiro's had RB24S only.

A bottle, possibly two. Did this on a Falcon, we took as much old fluid out as possible (from the top of the master cylinder) with a syringe kind of thing...whatever they're called, put new fluid in and bled it until the different color started coming through....didn't even use one full bottle, but this was for the front brakes only, and the cylinder, lines and calipers would hold a bit more fluid than a Laser. One bottle, given the size of the car and you don't really need to change the fluid in the rears.

Fs: A31 Nismo Strut Brace
Nic_A31 replied to D4NM4C's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
How does it not fit your S13? A31 strut towers are the same as S13 (formation the the top, distance from one tower to other)....the only difference is the A31 has less height clearance, so in all cases, A31 braces will fit S13, since most S13 braces fit the A31 depending on how high up they come. Sure it's not for something else ? -
Coming from somebody that has tried it - don't bother. It really isn't worth it, no matter how vigilant you are about it. The government will never stop shafting its society for money - ever.

$75 no points - big deal. If there is another vehicle visible in the photo, send it back, if you're the only visible vehicle, just pay it. You can fork out $xxx to take it to court, and fight it, and sure, maybe you'll win, the WA police will withdraw the fine and cover your legal fees and costs for going to court...that leaves you with the initial consultation with a lawyer...which is alot more than $75.00. Check the speed limit for that area, and see if there's another vehicle, otherwise just win the battle now and pay the fine.

$80 for BOTH in pic, or just the front ? -
^^ I believe otherwise ATTESTA is basically RWD until it detects a slip, then it becomes AWD, and simply pulling the fuse gives you RWD. It is somewhat difficult to convert them to RWD but can be done without too many drama's - keep it AWD though
-
Kermit. Probably best to get a front facing plenum first though and have the custom piping go straight to that. Looks and performs alot better than running the pipe all the way back to the exhaust side of the engine and over the top into the factory intake manifold.

How far from XSpeed are you? Tighten the bolts as much as you can, and drive it with a few 1litre bottles of water with you and stop at service stations if you need to. I dropped 80% of my water in Ozzy Park at the freeway on ramp, topped up, limped it home to Swan View and fixed it, wasn't too hard, just avoid stop/start traffic and main roads, if you do have to stop, you want to do it in a back road.

Do Protec sell to the public? Looking at their website it looks like they're a distributor that will tell you to go to a shop that sells their products. They'll probably give you all the advise in the world though...which is - do something once, do it properly - use 2 pak
