Could be the stalk, relay, a few people have fixed similar problems with the harness' not being seated properly. Check all your wiring connections first.

How far off will the ignition timing be? Nothing he can't adjust himself and fix in a tune...then again if you're going to pay someone else to tune it, you'd might as well let them shaft you another grand or two for a full ECU, so yeah, fair enough

If you have to ask you shouldn't own one... 4 Doors have a much higher top speed than the 2 doors...safe top speed is about 400kmp/h and auto will handle it with no drama's at all. NO! If its an auto, drive it nicely and let it shift by itself. Don't slap shift gears, just leave it in drive, and if ...for what ever reason, you absolutely must and insist on using sub gears....there is a rev limiter which SHOULD kick in before you blow anything up...then again, do it on a regular basis and It'll blow up anyway. Get the tacho fixed...that won't be rocket science...well for most people it isnt. Tyre pressure should be 32 PSI all round if I recall correctly.

As above Not much more leg room and you only get an extra 10mm headroom or so. Sunroof models + stock seats can be awkward for us non-Japanese people...I'm 5"8 and my head touches the roof on my Ceffy Legroom is pretty much nil...with 2 people in the car you'll have the seats further back, but you can still sit comfortably with the seat forward and (just) enough legroom in the back for passengers.... again, Jap cars made for Jap people or similar sized people...they're practical if you're planning on having a second passenger semi-frequently...but if its a constant thing, you'd want a big comfy sedan, with stiff suspension and a pair of balls...like a Q45

Dunno where that 280 was from...possibly an Autech...although even Autechs didnt put out enough power to go anywhere near those speeds. C33 Laurel is a direct fit, others have successfully used R32, R33 and S13 by modifying the dash and the cluster so it bolts in. You could also get rid of it all and use a digital display and Heads up Displays (typically most HUDs only go up to 180 though).

When I was looking on eBay for engines only sold in US markets, they sell for about $500-$800 without a gearbox. So I figure $1000 for a 30 bottom end is actually a good deal. Given that cheap RB30 blocks here are in shit condition, you'd need to rebuild them anyway when you put 25DE heads on it, soo add a little more cost/time on top of that. Shipping just the bottom end wouldn't be super expensive...doesn't weigh alot, two person lift (two REAL men), couple of hundred bucks via sea + customs taxes/import duty fee's.

Ive seen a few on ImportMonster, its just buying unknown brands I'm hesitant on doing. I'd much rather fork out extra dollars now than extra extra dollars later when a shitty china spec stud snaps and the other 4 go with it while driving along... I'll hit up N'S. Cheers dude.

Going good man, got them but havent installed them yet, pending 5 stud conversion, brake and wheel fitment. Everything else is starting to move again, which is good. Not sure on where and which brand to get my studs from. the CF looks aight hey, CF roof and bonnet gets my vote. What kind of 1/4 times does it pull, do you know yet? Must be decent considering its weight and a 3.0 twin turbo engine pushing 400 out it's ass...must also be a bitch to drive in the wet too, haha.
