If the tabs have broken off all you'll need is superglue, Just open up the door, look at the bottom of the window in the centre and see if the plastic is still attached. Where are you located anyway?

R33 Skyline Number 9 On Top 10 Greatest Ever Sports Cars
Nic_A31 replied to SL33K's topic in Western Australia
You guys bought up A31s. My argument is that any other Skyline should have been selected for the spot, IF they had their heads on properly. R32 GTR, the R32 was considered a massive step forward, both visually and performance. The R33 GTR, because GTR is better than GTST, or any sub model...surely, better model would make a better sports car, right ? R34 GTR, even get one of the later models, V-SPEC II NÜR. Again, later model, surely alot better. f**k, if it was written recently, why not the R35 GT-R ? GTxx hardly count as sports cars, GTR is a real sports car. I suppose if those same idiots wrote "Top 10 muscle cars" the VN Commodore would be in there...and no...not the SS. Now, more bashing of A31s to try and make the R33s look better, please -
Was it in this thread ? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/A3...tml&hl=fuse There was a link in this one, link is here: http://forums.trinituner.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=3140678 I fiddled in Microsoft Word and got the size about right, was going to tape it over the top of the normal sticker, but didn't bother, it just sits in my glovebox now.

R33 Skyline Number 9 On Top 10 Greatest Ever Sports Cars
Nic_A31 replied to SL33K's topic in Western Australia
You can read, right .... ? You drive an R33, so I'd better check the basics before we proceed out little debate here... -
60 is running on my J30, but I do have a 62 around somewhere too...w00t...cash! Respraying the seats with VHT Vinyl Dye...I know...its dodgey, but it works for now, better than that factory shit until I get leather...if I get that far. Don't mind the pic, only first spray...takes a couple of runs through to make the color solid and consistent.

R33 Skyline Number 9 On Top 10 Greatest Ever Sports Cars

LOL my point is right there, you morons never fail to deliver. Somebody (usually an A31 driver) raises a point, and you guys go off topic, forgetting the question. Might as well lock this topic now, save these R33 guys from getting fired up and saying naughty words. -
R33 Skyline Number 9 On Top 10 Greatest Ever Sports Cars

LOL, you were requested first, go ahead. Google Cefiro and you have your answer, but then again, this is all about "personal opinion"...isnt it? -
Cutting the shell probably breaches legal concerns, your best bet is to switch to a factory GTR FMIC, and use the SMIC pipe holes for cold air. On a non GTR front bar, you'll notice holes where the GTR cooler would go, likewise, in the shell of a nonturbo, you can see the circle there (just needs to be cut out), and the holes pre-drilled. Got my ceffy with a K&N M's pod, but an exhaust leak quickly clogged it, given it a good clean a few times with no luck, for the time being I'm using a cold air snorkel and the top half of the stock air box, sitting over the pod...atleast directs some cold are onto it. Switching to FMIC and going to use flex pipe going down into the bumper where the SMIC was. Use some fly-wire type mesh on the front of the pipe, and run a few bends with some small drains to stop water and shit climbing up.

+ Steering lock is also good for DRIFT, but hey, with 4 doors, you get LOOOOTS of lock, awesome for getting the cutomer to the airport on-time. Don't you smoke crack? Dunno what R32's run, Cefiro's run lower boost from the factory, so I dunno, somebody with a decent Skyline can answer that question for you. Lack of boost is combatted by extra displacement, newer technology, oh, and those great turbo's and injectors and ECU and all the other goodies R33s have which R32s don't. This thread is ammusing. Waves of brainless sheep praising their cars because some b-grade footage said they're awesome. Not exactly anything new though. -
R33 Skyline Number 9 On Top 10 Greatest Ever Sports Cars
Nic_A31 replied to SL33K's topic in Western Australia
Those facts are great. The R33's turning circle is double the R32, and with its extra 500c and bigger turbo and more awesomez it only gets to 100 0.32 seconds faster, and down the quater mile 0.4 seconds ahead of the smaller, weaker, not as good, obsolete R32. With all that aside, the list is a fail, not for the R33, just for the rest of the list. -
Mate, did you notice I was the one who started this thread? All I was saying, is that if you want an answer backed up by more than 5 brain cells, ask in the Brakes/Suspension area, not here in WA, just look at the replies, these dumb-f**ks don't know shit about cars, how cars work, how brakes work, they can't even grasp the concept of needing to mount the caliper further away from the wheel hub center to fit a larger rotor.
-
Haha mate it has been covered a few times here, and these is a sticker you can buy off eBay (might be eBay Australia...not sure) that translates it....but for most of us, if a fuse goes, pull them out until you find the blown one, and replace it...not very hard. Cheers for the diagram though. There is also a bank of fuses seated horizontally on the top side of the box, anybody know what they're for by any chance?
-
No mate, silly retard, ANY rotor and caliper will fit onto ANY knuckle assembly, regardless of size...and did you know hot air is better than cold air? If you have a technical question, ask/bump in the technical question, not here in WA unless you want dumb answers... In regards to the question, probably alot of brake workshops that will take your money, otherwise fjust make them yourself. I resorted to making my own after this fail thread and it was pretty easy.

That too, I set all FPS games to hard on the first go now, and the last 10 Ive bought I've soared through with very little repetition, but even playing older games seem longer even when you're flying through them. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 must have been..literally 3-4 hours at the most, it was f**kin' epic but very short.

Ceffy Stock Nissan Car Jack + Nissan Tools
Nic_A31 replied to rayj's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
My mum has an A33 or A34, the wheel sits flush with the floor in the boot, carpet goes over the top, but the jack and tools still sit off to the driver's side, and A32 onwards are all pretty much identical, the A3x chassis only changes when it becomes A35+ (US) and J31+ (Everywhere else). Otherwise just put it inside your spare wheel maybe. -
Checked part numbers and theyre different (last two digits are two numbers apart) Maxima has a purple label, but like I said, I connected my Maxima AFM to my Cefiro loom, its the same connection which the R32 AFM didnt fit. I imagine the AFM would have the same or similar characteristics to the Z32 from what I've seen in the way of VGxx tuning. If I use a J30/Z32 Air flow meter, will she idle ok? or I I need to get it remapped just for idling ?
-
Mirrors may be usable from other Nissans, but as far as I know there's nothing. Other cosmetics you can do...ah...paint the strips on the door the same chrome as the door handles / lining around the windows, Ive seen that and it looks pretty mint. If you do some searching you'll see what kits are available for the Cefiro's, there's a few in Aus, Japan, NZ, there's even one in the USA that comes up on eBay sometimes. Check out vented guards by Dmax, they also do a body kit and a vented bonnet as well. You can convert the front end (guards, headlights, grille, bumper) to C33 Laurel. Import Monster pulls some cool shit out of YahooAuctions-Japan, like rear roof spoilers, clear indicators, etc.

Ceffy Stock Nissan Car Jack + Nissan Tools
Nic_A31 replied to rayj's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Not too sure with the Ceffies man, but that area you described sounds right, its a big area with nothing to occupy it so it'd have to be it. In this thread, I attatched a pic of how my Maxima holds the jack...this may be different in the Ceffy/R34s, etc. Have a good read and a look at that pic. Should make sense http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...amp;hl=r34+jack -
AIR FLOW METER J30 Maxima (also uses a VG30 engine like the Z32s) While working on my Maxima today I had a look to see if the AFM fit my Ceffy loom and it does. Not sure if the AFMs are the same as Z32 but it does fit, I imagine its the same, alot of shit is interchangeable between Z32 and J30. So, no more forking out cash because the Cefiro AFM is "rare" and the Z32 AFM is "super awesome". Raid a J30 wreck, also has some useable interior trim and shit.
-
All I can say is f**kin Ay brother, that looks bloody awesome!!
-
The current project is all dead straight except for the rails / jack points...so with paint, THIS one will be shmick, makes for a better street car I reckon. Most rolling shells in Perth have rust/dents / drift damage. Well, I found out today that J30 Mxima (VG30E) has the same air flow metre as Z32 (VG30DE(TT) ), and its the same pin formation, so rather than fork out hundreds of dollars to these moron shop's because "oh but the Z32 one is Teh AwEsoMeZZzzz!!!" I'll just go raid a J30, get some shit for my own J30 Maxima and the Ceffy at the same time - f**king w00t. Wont run properly, but can I at least start it and run it at low RPMs? (ie. to get it onto a trailer so I can get it painted and shit?) As long as I can run it, I'm happy, and then I get remap the ECU later.

Eoi Dash Mats (group Buy) For A31

Not until we have them Black is your black carpet, charcoal is more like the color of your trim (unless you got a Ceffy with brown interior...) -
Eoi Dash Mats (group Buy) For A31
Nic_A31 replied to Nic_A31's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Haven't heard from Jason about them. 2 Weeks ago they had the mold but hadn't started the mats. I'd assume by now they've started or finished making them.
