  1. Take a brick back to the little c**ts faces! Nice Ceffy mate, and Suburu suck Nissan's balls all day long FTL, welcome to owning a decent vehicle, try to keep her alive and well hey.
  2. OUCH, dude these cars are rare, dont break em Whats happening with that one? Parting out? Insurance re-possesing it ?
  3. 600 a year for rego??? If he's only doing 5-10'000kms per year, running costs are alot lower, ie; fuel, servicing, tyres Insurance will probably only need to be 3rd party+fire+theft as well. In my experience, Insuarance costs is more to do with age than the vehicle...I was quoted $2'500 P/A for my 94 Maxima, and the same again for a 95 Infiniti Q45 I was real close to buying. My Maxima is faster than my Ceffy but doesnt fall under the "high performance" criteria, so I guess its just insurance companies not trusting young males. Spend atleast $10'000 on base car. Easier to sleep at night knowing it's all good.
  4. +2 for quick service. Had 2 work vehicles' windshields repaired there, both were under an hour. They also have a hottie at the front counter.
  5. Having a few drama's putting everything back together. Locks Missing my passenger side, the seller might be able to find this for me and send it, unless its hidden inside the car, otherwise, where can I get a complete matching set of 2 doors, boot and ignition? Can I steal them from any Skylines? It's a pain in the ass, but so is having 45 keys to get into one car. Rear quater panel window/trim mounting On one side, the glass has been separated from the trim piece, and on the other, the glass is attatched to the trim piece, how do these panels mount into the body? cant see any visible points to screw them in. Im planning on using some kind of bad-ass black weather sealing glue, and taping it down as tight as possible for a day or so until it sets as hard as it can, then re-sealing any open spots, good idea, or not ? Did a search on both, had no luck. I'll add anymore problems I have as time goes on.
  6. Come on, look at that guy, you can't see his face, but you can just tell he's jacked up on God know's what... Good call. Reminded me of this - another Today Tonight attack on anybody with an import "amatuer hoons in high powered cars" on "Australian Roads", and put up next to police interview footage. Clearly: Skilled drivers, Jap footage (well known video), Jap roads, generic police interview footage (never actually mentions the drift video).
  7. Just noticed this: "We are thinknig about doing a board for R33 RB25DE/RB25DET but it involves a fair amount of work, and the parts to interface with the existing 84 pin MCU on this ECU. It is a very difficult board to get started on and requires whole new firmware code to be implemented, whilst supporting customers with our existing product line. I will start drafting schematics once Type 5 has been finished and we have got the knock sensing functionality working. If you are looking for something to get these going then we suggest either using a HCR32 Skyline or Z32 300ZX ECU with a Type 2 board. See our FAQ topics for more information regarding these ECUs. Your other option, if you really want to use the R33 ECU is to use an emulator with an expensive third party daughter board (pictured above) available from Sam at www.drdrift.com.au "
  8. Look at the wanky interior. I like the "you cant stop me and my mates, Im just gonna do it AGAIN, yeah boi...bring on some more piss and herion!!!" thing....stupid idiots like him have no respect for anything except themselves, their shitty ass Holden utes (or in this freak case, R33), and their other bogan mates. Cant stop you....? they just did Do it again...? from behind bars, mmmm, now who's got the bigger dick? End of rant.
  9. www.nistune.com lists the following as WA contacts, Allstar Garage C-Red Tuning Kensei Garage Hyperdrive Motor Sports Perth Z Performance Top Racing Pty Ltd Using a 300ZX ECU on RB25 = WTF....where did you read that? ECU Resets to factory settings when the battery is left disconnected (or ECU unplugged) for a length of time (exactly how long, I dont know, never re-tuned, so never noticed a difference)
  10. - LSD Diff = S13 / R32 = R200, or if you got a single spinner, the R180 from both the non turbo s13 and r32 would also fit. - Diff = S13/R32 - either R180 & R200 Taken from the sticky.
  11. Wheather its via insurance or legal action, the 350z guy is getting a new car, and the dumbass Pathfinder guy is getting some f**king high premiums for a while.
  12. Yellow Pages Detailers IN Booragoon: Silver Sponge Hand Carwash Garden City Car1 Booragoon WA 6154 ph: (08) 9364 5001 That the one ?
  13. Sunroof Switch / Map light assembly = J30 (89-94) Maxima
  14. I think its ok to test it a little bit. In a sports car / high performance car, you'd expect anyone to accelerate hard up to redline once or twice, just to see how fast it can pick up speed. Doing it continuously, exceeding redline, purposely loosing traction, or just plain thrashing it or being a twat is an instant big smack aroud the back of the head.
  15. That bright sky blue ? That might look alright. What mods should I get out of the way first?
  16. I HIGHLY recommend http://www.redlinegoods.com/ All they make is shifter & handbrake boots and armrests. They make to suit most vehicles, you select your material, color, stitching type, and shifter length (if you have a shorter shift). I bought 2 boots, total inc International Express Shipping (8 days) came to about $80, but the value you get well and truely exceeds that. Forget eBay crap, Italian leather FTW
  17. I somehow found an old eBay link of the very same car before it was sold to the last guy, late April. Engine bay appears dark grey, or black w/ shitloads of dust. Guess Im going with that.
  18. MAKE the pole ? EDIT: Nevermind, reloaded the page and there it was
  19. When they can sticker you for such little sh*t like not having window washer fluid, 90% of all cars on the road should be worried
  20. Hi guys, newbie from Perth here. Been driving a J30 Maxima since Ive had my license, now its time for a fun car. I've got an 88' A31 on the way from Queensland. RB20DET 5 speed, 91xxxKMS HD Clutch, 2 way diff, the rest is stock (even the exhaust). Its unpainted, has a crack in the windshield, and an exhaust leak, all fairly easy problems to fix. It was previously registered in NSW, before being moved to QLD before I bought it. Assuming it is actually all stock, getting it passed over the pits shouldnt be a challenge (throw a stock-ish kind of diff on). I guess I'm after opinions on what color would best suit it without a kit (Im leaning towards black), and what mods to go for once its registered? Clicky to eBay page for pics Will throw some proper pics up when it arrives here on June 3rd -Nic
  21. Sorry I can't help myself Turn the volume right down and see the car for what it actually was. Nissan Cefiro - The NEO car? Super sideways drifting, and sick yellow fog lights for Touge Stock suspension that you're going to replace anyway, and power steering? Drift killing HICAS bullshit 4 Wheel Anti Skid (lol) Braking System! RB20DET and 5 speed FTW See the Nissan Cefiro, and learn what false target audience advertising REALLY means I'll let you work out what the footage SHOULD have been.
