  1. Sounds good. 2.2 tonne is a damn big one !! I was looking at something around the 1.5 max, but I suppose it won't matter I'd be interested in what sort of $$$ he can do one for fitted and also unfitted. Funds are slowly running out after buying the car Thanks J
  2. I honestly don't know. They are a standard DIN size if that helps any, there is a piece of 3mm MDF mounted 90 degrees to the face that get's bolted to the frame that runs around the factory stereo cradle/mount. J
  3. G'day guys, Well as some of you know, I wrote my R33 GTS-t off a few months ago and I've now got a RS Four-V These bits weren't on the insurance policy for the R33 so I took them out before the car was sent to the auctions TOMEI Master Brake Cylinder Stopper Bolts to the strut tower (there's two bolt holes there from factory) and stops the firewall from flexing under hard braking. Also improves brake feel at hard braking. I'd put this on the Stagea, but the alarm is mounted there and can't be moved Selling for $60. SOLD Nismo Black Chrome gear knob NEVER USED ! I bought and paid for this and while I was waiting for it to be delivered I had the accident.. Bought it for $110, selling it for $80. It has no scratches at all, brand spanking new... SOLD Turbo HPBC bleed valve Perfect working condition, used for about 18 months. It has two valves in it, one to stop wastegate creep (adjustable) and the normal bleed valve. I had this installed with very short hoses and it barely spiked at all ! Bought for $135, selling for $75. 3 Gauges in a DIN mount All are mechanical gauges. Oil temp, boost and oil presure. All are VDO gauges and have blue bulbs in them. Comes with all the fittings you need to hook them up to the motor. The oil presure gauge is brand new and never used. I had a fitting made up and I was just about to put it in the car when I had the accident !! The front is covered in black leather that matches in with the dash pad. After $250 for them.SOLD Factory R33 GTS-t front mats Good condition, have the factory 'Skyline' metal logo tag on them. $45 and they are yours. SOLD Factory R32 GTS-t manual ECU Was planning on modding this and using it in the R33 GTS-t, but never got around to it. Not modified - totally stock $100. SOLD Factory Din Pocket Took this out when I installed the DIN gauges. Factory din pocket with flip down front. Has a cut out in the back from where I had a Profec A mounted for a while. I got the $hit's with the Profec A and went back to the bleed valve !!! $20.SOLD Happy to do COD post (may need a deposit) or direct credit, but either way the buyer pays for postage. Email me at [email protected] or drop me a PM. Cheers Jayson
  4. OK, I got the place that just installed my alarm to install the fm convert cause I was paranoid of breaking the dash !! And this way I though if they bust it they'll pay for a new one Everything went fine - nothing broken. Just as I thought, the top two centre vents are held in with clips, you need to remove these to get to the two screws behind it to get the stereo out !! I'll take a pic on the weekend and point out where the clips are so you know where to lever from with the screw driver ! The FM converter seems to be working fine. Maybe a bit low on reception, but that also may have something to do with the TV areials I have instead of FM ones One thing I did notice is that it's picking up HEAPS of stations that I've never heard before, maybe the 10/20 converter is picking stations up outside the normal australia FM band as well as the normal FM band ? The converter I bought was a 10/20 Mhz one from Jaycar for $44.95. Cheers J
  5. Hahaha, the foot brake still freaks me out when I use it !! This weekend I'll be able to confirm if R34 GTT mags fit and clear everthing, I'll grab some pics as well just so you can see how/if the fill the gaurds etc.. SK - (a bit off topic), how did your fabricator go with making up a tow bar ? I'd be keen to buy one if it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. J
  6. I think my old car was done by EVO, and the new one has been done by Nizmo. Not sure where Nizmo is. QLD ?? J
  7. Yepp, no prob's SK. I've bitten the bullet and bought a FM converter (massive $40 ), so once I get time (and figure out how) I'll get it put in... I'll take some pics of how to get the dash off too. Then I'll decide if I'm going to use the TV in it or not. It has AUX inputs, so I might just use it as a monitor. I can get a nifty little box that will play Divx/avi/mpg movies as well as play MP3's. Also has USB and a card CF reader in it so you can dump anything into it J
  8. G'day Guys, Yepp, I've now got a RS Four-V It's got the factory option of sat nav/tv and stereo, I tried getting the console/stereo out yesterday to install an FM converter so I can listen to local FM stations, but I couldn't get the stereo out Anyone done it before ? I removed the whole centre console (between the two front seats) and the part that goes around the shifter. Undone the two screws down the bottom of the stereo facial bit, but I couldn't get it to come out. It looks like it sits under the facial for the two centre vents. I didn't want to grab and yank cause the dash is pretty much perfect... Any help would be great. J
  9. I'm hoping that the R34 GTT wheels I have will fit with no problems. I'll let you know how I go. J
  10. Danny - best to ring them up and get an offical quote straight from them. There's too many factors that can change the amount. J
  11. Spotted - Gunmetal coloured R32 GTR at the Shell servo at Tuggers this morning. Had big chrome wheels and the rear 'Skyline' word was painted red. Anybody here ? J
  12. Have a quick look at this thread; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=35694 Scroll down a few posts and you'll find a TXT file that has all the instructions you need to get them out and back in again. Cheers Jayson
  13. I can vouch for the greese/bolt/hamemer way. If you've got the right sized bolt the spiggot bearing comes out with 2-3 taps. J
  14. There's a fella that is just in the middle of doing an auto to manula conversion on a RS Four. Have a look here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=44530 Doesn't give much info, but maybe you can pick his brains a little. J
  15. One other way to think about it is if you get the new turbo you'll be able to sell the 2530 for a decent price to re-coop some money. Maybe $1500 ?? But if you buy a PFC, you won't be able to re-coop much money out of the re-chipped ECU.. BUT... I think you may get better gains and better drivability from getting the PFC... Have I made it tougher for you now?? J
  16. Yepp, under the amp on the right.
  17. Now that's chuncky !! Shell - place in Hume was Prestige Automotive - Unit 4, 3 Sleigh Place. If you go in to talk to them about it, talk to Pete, he is the owner of the place. Tell him that Jayson (the fella that wrote off his silver R33) sent you. He might give you some $$ off.. Pete doesn't mind a chat either Everytime I popped in there I'd end up talking for 30 minutes J
  18. The R34 front is great ! It's not as full on as some of the others I think NismoGirl posted a good pic of it in another thread. J
  19. SK - I look forward to see how things go with your RS four. Long term my aim to have something pretty close to that as well (ultimate sleeper ). What are your thoughts on the unichip over the SAFCII for the auto ? Would the ignition control of the unichip work (I know the E-mange won't work ). J
  20. Good to see that it's all fixed
  21. LOL - the handbrake boot has already found a home in a mates R33.. Yeah, the 2 that I'm looking at are in QLD. I've got a mechanic/panel beater up there that can inspect them for me, but it's hard negotiating the price over the phone... I like to squeeze the price down as far as I can, and it's harder over the phone J
  22. Congratulations Matt - well done
  23. Hahaha, the funny thing is I used to love that game.... Ok, I admit, I still do
  24. Yepp, I'm happy to give a hand if it's needed
  25. Meshmesh - yepp, very true. I have always told my insurance companies everthing about the car and mods I have. The last thing you want is for a claim to be held up cause you didn't tell them something... But I've got a feeling that their records will show that an RS-Four is a turbo Demon - Yepp, I was told that from Robin. Robin deals with quotes and policy changes.. In my case I was at fault, so maybe if your not at fault then there's no problem.
