  1. Looking good
  2. Ahh, Marc and Term - sorry I couldn't make it. The rain totally fu*&$ed my day up. redered the wall in the morning then it started pi$$ing down Had to keep an eye on it all the day so the render wouldn't slide off the wall How about we do another day soon and get a few good pic's ? Oh, there is another one in Canberra down here in Tuggers. A red one But they aren't on SAU J
  3. Cops aren't stupid. She would have had to DRIVE the car to get it where it was on the road - hence driving it whilst not registered. Unlucky situation, but she really shouldn't have been using the car.
  4. D'oh - I always get it around the wrong way lol
  5. Good info Brad, So the LSD on the RS4's must have been an option.. hmmm... You'll notice an improvement in acceleration if you go with the 4.11 gears, but at the sacrifice of a bit of fuel ecconomy though J Totally off topic.. I found out why my coffee cup leaves a bit of hot water when I half fill it.. A hair line crack in the side of it. It's had me puzzled for weeks until today when the crack is now noticable.. lol
  6. Wooohooo, another one in Canberra Congratulations Marc. Sounds like a nice car. We'll have to catch up again so I can have a looksee. J
  7. Ahh, good stuff. Cheaper for the same thing is always good.
  8. G'day Christian, Cool to see another person doing the manual conversion. Be sure to write down all the parts (and rough $$) Yeah, I think they were push up until late 93 and 94, then they went to pull. BUt itn't it the R33 GTR box that you need? Or are the R32 and R33 GTR boxes the same ? Anyone else confirm. J
  9. lol, now that is strange... Damn these panel beaters I've got to do an oil change this weekend (just ticked over to 70,000km) so if I get keen I'll check the antenna connections while I'm playing with the car J
  10. Your not wrong there SK !! Please get as much info out of them as possible.. The frustrating thing for me is that the factory head unit worked 100% perfect a few months ago (reception was great). Then after the panel shop touched up a little scrape on the passengers front door the reception has never been the same ! I have no idea why though J
  11. I did exactly the same thing. Bought some nice new Alpines for the front and put the ones that were in the front (after market Clarions) in the back. Very easy to do, although by memory the mount isn't quite a 6 inch speaker. I took the mount down to the stereo place and got them to show me which ones would fit. lol Front doors have 2/3 screws at the very lower lip of the door trim. Also a screw under the little pocket. You'll need to unclip the surround that's around the door handle too cause there's a screw under it. then you should be able to unclip the press in clips that hold the trim to the door. Backs are pretty much the same too. You need to get the trim off to get the speakers out, you can't just pop the grill off You'll need to cut the factory wires cause they have plugs on the end of them, unless you run new wiring which is going to be a big pain in the butt.. lol J
  12. Umm, maybe 10 or so now. It seems to be growing pretty fast though.
  13. Cool, it'll be good to see how it goes. Once done you'll be able to out handle most cars I've been tempted to get a set of sway bars, but I know if i get them then I'll want new suspension and then do the camber and next thing i know I'll get a loan and do a rb26 and 5 speed converstion.. lol
  14. G'day Chris, Jump onboard, the Stagea crew is growing fast A black one is going to be hard to find. I've never actually seen a factory black series 1 You might have to buy one and give it a colour change.. J
  15. Ahh the good old Autolites.. lol I ditched them as soon as I could. Burns, yep, running pretty damn rich there. Do you do lots of short trips ?? Drop the heat range back to 6's, may help a bit too. J
  16. The flange mounts will be the same, although the reason why they list a R33 and a R34 front/dumps would be because of the different floor pan. So the bends and where the front pipe mounts to the cat may be different between the R33 and R34's.. Soooo, as the Stagea series 1 and 2's share the same floor pan then the front/dumps pipes will be the same. J
  17. Sweeet... thanks
  18. Great stuff Lone. You gotta love having your car featured Shame I can only get the first page though J
  19. Great stuff Marc. I bet your keen to get it in and won't be sleeping for the next few weeks I'd love to have a look over it when it comes in. On mine I can easily hear the turbo spool up when pressing the throttle just a little bit. Yours probably has a highflow panel filter or pod on it, or has the boost turned up a bit. J
  20. Yep, that's normal. The break down (miss) will generally happen around the peak torque high load figure for the engine. The more you explain it the more I'm thinking it's the plugs. J
  21. That certainly looks like a 260rs. Not that you can't see the inlet cross over pipe that the Rb25's have, plus you can see the top of a HKS pod filter that looks like it's pretty close to the strut tower, so I'd say it's the rear AFM/pod of a twin set up. Or I could be right off the mark and it's got a forward facing chamber on a RB25 Oh, hang on, is that a RS4 badge on the grille ?? J
  22. lol, I couldn't go gas on the Stagea. Nowhereto put the gas bottle anyway... The old man has got gas on his VS commo. 440km's costs him about $20 !!! 440km's for us is about $65 I've seen a few turbo cars with gas but I'm not sure if it's the same setup as a N/A car. But to get the most out of it you'd probably need to tune it just for gas and not dual fuel.. J
  23. The denser air will make a difference, so I'd say that you were right on the edge of the problem before, now with the cold air box it's pushed it over the edge The symptoms sound like the typical plug problems that's for sure. Do you have access to some feeler gauges to check the plug gap ? J
