  1. Hi Dallas, i bought the seats from my supplier MVP motorsport in the US. tried dealing with sparco Australia but had no luck so i sent my money to the US haha thanks for the kind words mate. the wheels are light weight polished billet wheels not chrome. i didnt want to much dish as it takes away from that "stock" appeal. they do have nearly 5" dish on the rear too haha
  2. wasnt too bad a day and the weather was great. we ended up leaving around 2-2.30 and headed to the last part of the kahna. nice to meet a few of you today. now the car is on the road i might pop out to one of those friday nights meets you guys have.
  3. so this weekend i finally got to take the car out. over the week i'd been tinkering slowly to have things ready for a show and shine this Sunday. few last minute adjustments to make everything 110% finally the car had a full tank of fuel then today met a few people before the car show car show then went to look at a few mates finish a motorkhana evet
  4. see you all there tomorrow!! does anyone know what time the kahna goes till? pending heat and my lack of a/c i might swing past on the way home from marques.
  5. i love this car!! the HPI magazine shoot is awesome. power, looks and best of all everything is so subtle!
  6. on saturday i started reintsalling the retrimed interior. i also installed an extra layer of dynmat behind the rear seat and another couple will be put in the boot over the exhaust side to baffel it even further from the cabin. couple more crappy pics... still dusty in the engine bay
  7. Nice mate. nothing but top shelf...but we wouldn't expect anything else form this car

    R35 Build

could australia be the first to have a complete carbon body road driven r35 looks awesome mate. time to get the other panels made up in carbon too. let face it you only have front and rear guards and roof to be made haha
  11. yep its by rush hour
  12. heard a r35 with a nice exhaust goin through fadden. you cant miss that note and auto changes!
  13. lets face it none of us own a car that 100% compliant and most of us would struggle to reach 50%
  14. make sure they dont flicker as that draws interest from those we dont mention. also dont go to crazy with the high temps as the closer you get to blue and purple the less affective they're and the more obvious the modification looks
  15. ill have to check a few things about it problem with my setup (apart from the need for additional pumps) is my 1000cc wont cut it lol would be fun to have a gt42 on street tuned 30psi though haha not sure if the motor will last too long though haha
  16. last i heard Kambah was ready a week or so ago but they were waiting for all the signage etc stick with CSR corn juice so you can gaurentee its E85 and not E70 in the colder months like it is at service stations
  17. stock for stock you wont notice the difference between vvti and non. many mons ago i raced a vvti with my non vvti and it was pretty much a dead heat (as it should be). remember even the non vvti starts boosting at 1.5k. personally i think your better of with a clean optioned up 95 with a non vvti engine but all the late model perks (bigger brakes, recaros etc). if you ever plan on going single then scrap the vvti completely as there is very little aftermarket knowledge and most end up turning it off. remember supras were designed for the US market and they have modified them for every concivable thing from road racing to 185mph texas mile 1200hp straight line fear. also the US didnt get the vvti model only JDM hence there is very little way of keeping vvti when modifying. it can be done but make sure you have very deep pockets. either way you wont be dissapointed and when you have over 400rwkws without building the motor while remaining reliable enough for daily driving...you wont stop
  18. as they say a warranty is only worth the paper its written on. when i bought my car i had some warranty thing on it that came from the dealership. 3 weeks after it arrived a fues blew causing all power to shut down while sitting at 100km/h on the highway. managed to pull it off the road just as it completely shat itself and stalled. tow truck home and a mobile mechnic fee later it was 100% again. sent them the reptort for what happened to be refunded the money under warranty to be told "we dont sell those types of cars nor cover them" before they hung up. oh and the car was 100% standard at this point not even seat covers lol take it to someone you can trust that deals with that type of car and has previously worked on the car. let this company know that people they request arent willing to touch the type of vehicle and get them to approve it in writting. if its only something small just pay it and move on. if its big send it back to the place of purchase or threaten legal action for selling something unfit for sale.
  19. great value for money. if only you were interested in swaps haha good luck with it mate!
  20. first workshop was Gloss refinishers that has since gone bust...thank god
  21. i had one of my suppliers get it from the US. you have to buy it in 5m rolls at about US$200/m +shipping. its about $90/m more then high grade italian leather. using it is also difficult as it can wrinkle very easily etc but worth every penny
  22. pfft 3.2L is for wannabes. 3.4L is where its at my friend haha Those photos are pretty bad to show the gap. in real life its barely 5mm.
  23. After recieving the quick photo around lunch time today i was pretty eager to check out the changes to the front of the car. All I can say is Naz from KMF customs is an absolute legend and has gone above and beyond after the car has been to 2 other workshops. Tthings are getting exciting now!! When you look directly at the front of the car it looks very angry with the big wide front guards. I want to keep it at the current height but unfortunately even though its 110mm it really is too low if the car is turning. Just an excuse to save for roburto cups like Dave's for the front
