  1. Matt Im so glad you have had your PI shoot. with mine still a couple months away it almost gaurentees i wont be in the same magazine haha...which im very thankful for. Must be time to use your modifying talent on a 35 now too
  2. looks great! what size rear is on the 42?
  3. a lot of the supra guys in the US have used them. and the mega dollar supra build on here has 2. they seem to show some impressive gains through the mid range however there isnt much info on them being used daily etc when i go 3.4 ill be using one but thats another 12 months away haha
  4. nice work mate. they certainly are a good bit of gear!
  5. haha cloth? its alcantara suede that cost a ridiculous amount/ metre lol
  6. further interior updates... recovered centre console back seat lower section back seat upper section
  7. ive got sparco milianos in the supra and they're comfy.
  8. Update time. So it looks like I'm going to keep the car and continue to finish it. The main areas at this stage is ther interior retrim and fixing up further defects to the exterior. all being well the car will be finished this year as now im just getting the little things finished and ready for hopefully a couple magazine photo shoots. took the car out to install a new super dragger exhaust to lessen the noise made by the 4" HKS Ti system that was on there. little update.... car is off to the third body shop to have the front bar rectified and front lip installed. Im also removing the number plate holes etc from the front. lets just say there will be a lot of plastic welding. i have a feeling once the front lip is on ill need to lift the suspension. ESP will also be installing: RDA slotted rotors brand new 4/2 pot calipers (selling the older ones) brand new braided lines QFM A1 pads new fluids also getting the car checked and new plugs installed. Im also designing some custom metal grills for the air vents. Unfortunately due to timing i wont have the interior ready for a possible show this weekend. however i have just recieved my 5SQM of black alcantara to match my sparco seats for some additional suede and carbon fiber throughout the interior! Massive thanks to Dusty @ MVP for sourcing and shipping this over to me quickly...this man's service for parts (even the parts he does not commonly sell/ advertise) is second to none!! Here is the car in its new home for a couple weeks. KMF Customs is a relatively young business however the owner Naz has been around for long enough to have painted cars like the summernats top 60 and god of autosalon Boostn and much more. Unfortunately it wont be ready for the show this weekend however its finally in safe hands and will be 110% when it leaves. Small updates. Brakes have been fixed and new calipers etc installed. Interior parts have been finished and im picking up the back seat tonight front bar has been plastic welded and fixed up to suite the wider guards door handles have been removed ready for repainting a few more interior bits are going to be repainted too i wont be going to toyotafest now as i cant see things being 100% over the next few days as well as a few major assignments due next week. Still to come: custom front inner guards installed custom metal grills for the front fenders cut and modify rear quaters new 345 tyres for the rears bit more dynamat to rear wheel arch areas LED dash conversion + new buttons Front bar dusty car new brakes interior bits nearly finished more pictures to come
  9. looks like a cool project. just quickly though what sort of bracing are you using on the manifolds to stop early cracking etc?
  10. personally i would just wait and do it how you want to the first time. Ive learnt myself that you need to do it once and do it right otherwise you'll be forever changing things which doubles or more the cost!
  11. what about getting a 6boost made to fit? Ive got my 42 sitting on a 6boost with 60mm gate and it works a treat!
  12. Hey guys, Does anyone have the details of a mobile aircon reconditioning service within the ACT? I need mine to be tested for leaks and regased etc after it was all removed for the engine bay respray nearly 2 years ago.
  13. only place to go is Naz at KMF customs on Gilmore Rd. One of the best ACT workshops to deal with.
  14. trozzle have you sent the turbo back to hypergear? Ive seen a few of them and never really been very impressed with the quality especially when simple things like bolts are barely metalic or magnetic lol garrett althe way my friend! ive been spotting a few lines including a nice black on black 33 gtst in phillip there was also a very clean white 33 gtr at ESP Friday night and James at ESP today too haha
  15. spotted a black 33 with gay blue air brushed flames all over the front...someone call the Dr. its got aids!
  16. go all out! Ohlins coilover, ikeya arms, cusco sway bars, carbing braces, new bushes, and solid diff mounts may have just spent 20k though haha
  17. might help if you but the brand, base type, if they're ADR approved etc etc
  18. i assume its the door glass? they're usually pretty expensive just for the glass. I sourced one for my car (its not a skyline) in Sydney and picked it up after a ACT panel shop smashed mine. even second hand it was close to that.
  19. Id ask nissan for a cost reference (make sure you research the exact part #s before you ask otehrwise they wont take you seriously) for the engine harness, engine bay loom, dash harness, and the remaining interior harnesses. I wouldnt expect that you'd get much change out of 10k for the lot as new genuine parts which would then be a case of strip ther interior etc and remove every harness to replace with the new ones...
  20. did you call Glenn and ask him about it?
  21. spotted a purple gtst with custom plate gt533 or something...sounded nice. a black gtt up top of ESP witha few othere there and then followed a 32 vspecII (silver) along coyne ST and then part way through fadden
  22. KMF in Queanbeyan is a MUST! Naz has been responsible for multi award winning cars like the BOOSTN rodeo that took out god of autosalon and summernats. He has a large workshop and extra large paint booth capable of any job. He is also able to complete plastic welding and much more. But most importantly he is genuine and easy to deal with. Very proffessional and competitively priced. He is currently widening my standard front bar to suit my wide body supra and will be redoing my bonnet when i eventually buy it. KMF is the only house of kolour approved painted in this region. With the likes of Owen Webb approving his work you know your being looked after!!
  23. we dont play in the rain haha i think a distinct lack of info and then the rain pretty much destroyed any chances of supras going. mines in a workshop so thats my excuse. next year there should be better weather and hopefully more will show interest. saw the very last dyno run and got soaked by that bloody tarp at teh same time haha so whats the next big event in the ACT?
  24. i have to admit the orgainisers have been extremely quiet about the whole thing. maybe the next one will iron out the issues.
  25. only reason my car wont be there is it will be in workshops for at least another week. ill still come past and rain hate in true club style haha
