Hey mate I can't offer any real feed back but I'm looking at a HDi setup. So far the reviews I've found are good and it seems to be a reasonable price for the simple all electronic setup. So far this is my pick for bang for your buck so I'll let you know what its like when I get mine at xmas.

Hey guys I just want to double check the location. The Raceline flyer says Broadwater carpark and the SuperGP website says Broadwater parklands are these the same place?

A few months ago I drove from Brisbane QLD all the way down to Mildura VIC and I would have to say NSW roads are 100 times better than QLD roads as the further we drove out of QLD the smoother the roads seem to get. Granted that it was the inland/country road and that the roads were as wide in some area's as I would have liked it was still very clear that NSW roads were a lot smoother. I also used to ride a motorbike alot and would frequently enter the top end of NSW and they have some brilliantly smooth curvy roads with speed camera signs all over the shop. I highly recommend going for a cruise down there one day as you will enjoy. And as for rural QLD roads I think they are better than our city roads by far. As I recently went for a cruise with a couple of other SAU members up to Maleny and across and down through Nambour and those roads were far smoother than any of our city roads. A can comfortably say that as I drive right across the city every day to and from work. In my opinion its NSW roads ftw.

And the fact thats its free entry may be incentive to go.

Anyone going to Powerblitz?
-
Good stuff mate. I hope some more can make it. And if there's enough interest this year than maybe next year a SAU club entry group can be organized.

I'm out for this Saturday as I'm going to the Classic Jap show on sunday. But if you can't organize a cruise this Saturday try the following Friday and organize a cruise down to POWERBlitz at Southport. Thats if anyone is going?

I think I'll leave that one alone... Cheers mate. I might give it a go soon.

This is a very interesting topic and makes me feel like I've been living under a rock as I never new that you could run a turbo charged engine without a BOV. I've quite enjoyed reading this thread. I see there is no definitive answer so one would have to conclude that if you think its right for your cars setup than so be it. Some people like black some people like white none are wrong or better than the other just a personal preference. In my opinion a factory BOV setup is to make the cars 'nice to drive' with minimal engine bay noises. They may also help meet certain emission standards. And possibly aid in the re-spool of the turbo between gears how ever marginal the difference would be. It would be interesting to know how many people are running 'NO' BOV with there factory turbo's and if they have experienced any problems and or failure? As I am keen to try a 'NO' BOV setup on my factory Toyota Caldina GT-4. Also how much boost can safely be run on a factory turbo with 'NO' BOV? Is there any tuners who specialize in these setups? Great thread guys I hope we can find some solid Pro's and Con's for both setups. Maybe someone could start a poll to see haw many people out there run what setup?

Hey guys for sale is a Cellstar alarm system with remote start. It was fitted to my 2003 Toyota Caldina GT4 but was removed for compliance. As I now have a another alarm fitted I thought someone may be interested in this. It would most likely suit someone who can read Japanese as the book that came with it is all in Japanese. Any way here are the details: Item: Cellstar BR-5000 alarm with remote start. Location: Hillcrest, Brisbane, QLD Price: $200ono. PM me if interested. Cheers.

Hey guys I got some used tyres for sale that were on my car when I imported it. They had to be removed for compliance and replaced with new ones. As my car is a family orientated I don't see me ever using these tyres and they would be wasted travelling to and from work. They are basically a race tyre for the street or track and from what I've read about them they have awesome levels of grip. The other reason I need them gone is that I am getting some professional family photo's done this weekend and could really use the cash to put towards them. Anyway details and pics below. Cheers Item - 4 x Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's 215/45/R17 50%tread Location - Hillcrest, QLD Price - $300 for the lot Contact - Me Thanks for looking.
