The Ticking noise sounds more the clicking pen. that got louder when the it went up the tacho. But it was only around the 5,000Rpm mark. The timing on my car has been advanced, only a little though. It does not also make the ticking noise ATM though.

Hmmmm I've been looking at the Power Fc units. Seems like a popular choice. Also a Good unit. Ben you have to lets us know how your car goes on Wednesday, Im rather interested to see how that turns out for you! I really want to get this car going. It is rather nice looking in person. Gets lots of stares, and I get people walking up to me asking me about. The Bright Yellow Paint work helps there I think

When I forst got the car, it was running the stock boost. 7Psi I believe that is? It did have the boost Controller, but it was not conected. I have the PDF manual printed out in a Binder now I'll check the ECU tomorrow for the error codes. Code 55 Means all clear I remember correctly. 45 for the Ca18. the car still has the orignal ECU, with no piggy backs. whats the chances of a screwy ECU? Is there a way for to check the Turbo for any damage without removing it from my car?

The Boost controller died on me today. Never had an issue with it, till today. Im not really sure on why though. It does run a little Rich. The bloke who did my Dyno, does not really know much about skylines. He is a nice fella though. And the only one with a Dyno in tammy. On higher Boost I can hear a Ticking. It's not there atm. But in the past it was there. It does Rev Clean without a issue. just feels like nothing much is happening. Besides saying its Rich, and not a Power house. He said very little. Anymore Ideas would be grate, You been very helpful. Thanks!!! Mitchie

Hi All! Im Mitch, Im rather new to the whole skyline ownership. I've Been a Magna/Prelude Driver for the last 4 or so years. I've Owned my Skyline for a little while now, All though I love the car. It just seems not to be as powerful as I hoped. I was not hoping for nothing major. But something with some scoot about it. I got the car back from the dyno, and it Only made 118Kw at the wheels. And it also does not feel to have the pick up as I would expect. I was wonder if this is due to a REALLY bad tune, or something else. I'm hoping that someone would be able to point me in the right way. To get it up too something more respectful. The Car is still rather stock, except the 3in exhaust, and the HKS style Pod filter on it. It also Has a Boost controller, but It has stopped turning on . Some Info on that would be awesome!
